The point was that Glock is Ferrari because they've been the market leader for a long time. The P365 is the Ford because it's the new competitor that beat the old champ.
@@gibbynj3002 No, you have it backwards. At least in regards to which company compares to which. Ford was the market leader, with the lower priced utilitarian vehicles, and out sold Ferrari by orders of magnitude. Ferrari was the high-end maker, and led in performance "niche" vehicles. Glock is the market leader, but makes a lower priced utilitarian pistol, that gets the job done, but is certainly not leading in the performance/high-end side of things. Sig, with the exception of most 1911s, is one of the more expensive pistol brands on the market, and has some relatively high-end pistols, that basically outperform Glocks in every quantifiable metric. Realistically Sig isn't exactly Ferrari, that would be you're true high-end semi custom makers like Nighthawk or Wilson Combat. Likewise, Glock isn't quite Ford either... Yes, I’ve held them up together and they’re practically the same size. Glock 43x mag sticks out a little more (same as the 48). But they’re comparable. Only benefit of the 48 over 43x is longer slide equals a little less recoil and a little more sight distance for improved accuracy. But the sig still hold more rounds. Sig all day unless you just prefer the feel of the Glock with the more angled grip and slightly cheaper price tag.
@@jeremybowman4681 I have about 1k through it now and no issues. All reloads. About 100 of my carry ammo (Federal HST). Those are very accurate. I have no complaints at this point.
As I noted in a separate reply, the 365XL and G43x are similar in size, not the 48. I can't see how the Sig would be more concealable than a 43x, though might be more comfortable than a longer barreled 48? Without a doubt the 365 series out of the box is a better value. But if you swap out the Glock's POS trigger shoe with something with reduced pre-travel (and overtravel) throw in a slightly lighter striker spring and safety plunger spring and you have a gun that shoots nothing like a stock Glock. In fact, throw in a Johnny Glock OEM shoe removing all the pre travel reduced as possible safely, then put in a Ghost Pro connector with over-travel reduction and a 4.5 pound striker spring and reduced power safety plunger spring and you have something that shoots pretty close to a 1911 with a 3.75 pound super short, super crisp trigger pull (though I wouldn't recommend that configuration for carry).
1911 Syndicate your whole argument in this video about mag capacity is completely irrelevant taking into account these readily available magazines exist. Every single comparison video mentions this 10 round mag capacity and it’s completely irrelevant to everyday consumers
RedLS Rocketx the sig is still a good 1/2 shorter and when you add the the SIG 15 round magazine it’s less than 1/4 inch longer. It’s still slimmer with better ergo and trigger. The s15 mags only obsoleted the G19
@@jamesgarrison5546 it's only a 1/4" difference in height. Glocks are project guns, they sell you an undeniable reliable platform with bullshit sights to get by and then you build your glock to your liking.
I bought the 48 because I've been training with a 19 for a long time and didn't want to change my grip angle too much. The 48 felt very familiar compared to the 19. Since I am a short guy the single stack vs a double stack made a huge difference in printing and comfort.
I would have paid 650 for the XL it's just big enough and comfortable enough to where you feel confident in shooting it in a defense situation the sites are awesome I'm rather fond of the X Trigger I think it's crisp and precise it behaves as a full size gun and is accurate I was hitting a Target 75 yards away consistently with it
I totally agree. The P365 xl is truly a do it all gun. It carries really well and I shoot it almost as good as my Glock 34 that has a 2” longer sight radius.
Honestly I chose the 48. I shot both through a class. As I’m going through my drills, I was expecting the Sig to fail. It didn’t fail, catastrophically, because pistols fail if you run them hard enough in class. But I shouldn’t have to have the mindset to vet the gun, the way that I was. Just see what I like best. The Glock was a no-brainer. I didn’t have to wonder about catastrophic failure, or whether it was part of a bad batch, or if the warranty would not be honored if they found out I got dirt inside it. I just didn’t. Your mileage may differ. For summertime carry, I choose the G48. All my opinions. Peace.
I'm a dealer. Waited many months to buy a wave 3 P365 to test (wanted to give them a chance to fix problems) Broke in 266 rounds I just cannot trust sig
If G48 is more enjoyable to shoot, then what else is there to want? Mine came with Ameriglo tritium sights and the aftermarket S15 magazine makes it the perfect pistol for me. I do like the Sig as well. Hey, they are both guns. I want both of them....
Thank you for the review. Over a month’s time I tried many guns including the Glock 48, 45 & 19 and the Sig 45 and 365. As soon as I fired the Sig Sauer 365 xl I knew that was the gun for me. I purchased it as my concealed carry. I love it and have become very accurate within the last three weeks.
For many years I carried a G26 and still do at times, Glock 48 with the shield arms 15 round magazine makes it a full fighting pistol that’s comfortable to carry.
people in general don't understand that it doesn't matter if you carry a gun if you can't shoot it effectively, the G48 in my opinion is the little big gun that you can carry and use it effectively as a self defense tool.
@@alfonsobrena Exactly. Most confrontations are going to happen under 10 yards, so the 'dog shit' sights will be just fine. JHPs are going to get the job done. And if you miss, you have 14 more to try. I don't understand why some ppl are so critical about such small details. The G48 is the perfect CCW.
I will admit it, its my opinion. That the Sig XL is as near perfect as one can buy for the money, for a 9mm Carry Pistol, ten rounds or more. Carry is my point, still large enough that if you must jerk it out, you do not feel under-gunned, assuming your mags are loaded with a premium Plus P Hollow Point. Oh hell yes, some will say different, I care not ! Thx
Bought the XL today. I wish Gaston would take a break from playing hide the salami with Kathrin to fix some of the issues present on his platform since Gen 1. After six glocks, one of which I carry as a work gun, I'm finally changing gears.
Pretty subjective. I’d put my Glock 43x up against it any day. Not even sure why people compare the 48 to it in the first place. The 43x is smaller and With the SA15 mag it holds 15 rounds without increasing the print of the firearm. Also have a holosun optic on it. Now, that said, I have more money in my Glock than you do in your sig probably, but my Glock is still better 😉
@@JakeHolder having to spend money and having to use aftermarket companies to make you competitive with a stock Sig is not subjective…you can objectively see you having to do that to get to Sigs stock level 😉
@@RepentorPerish77 lol I would hardly say “same level” but I won’t disagree with what you’re saying. But also, I’m not one to buy a gun and leave it stock. If I bought an do it would get an optic and trigger job, at the very least. But these reviews aren’t great at showing people anything other than out of box comparisons, and using a 48 doesn’t make sense to me. At the end of the day, I’m an equal opportunist with guns. I own both sig and Glock. I think glocks, when outfitted correctly, can’t be beat. But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t add the XL to my carry collection
@@JakeHolder I’m not really a fan boy of any gun either. I have a Glock, Sig, Canik, FN, 1911s, but my largest pistol collection are CZs. I simply love the way they shoot, feel, and their reliability

Kinda, but not really. I don't find anything deficient about 10 round capacity in a carry pistol. If you can't solve a situation with 11 rounds, but can with 16, either you need a lot more practice, or you're in a real messed up scenario. Buying the SA15 mags ( and the metal mag release for them ) just adds more cost to the 43X and 48. You can't honestly complain the Sig is too expensive if you're going to spend $150+ on the Glock to make it match the Sig's features.
I have a original p365 and a G48! Then Sig comes out with p365 XL! 😡🤯 truth be told, I’m a Sig fan boy, and have never been a fan of Glock, as I don’t shoot them as well!! It took sights, trigger, and 1500 rounds before I got comfortable enough to carry the Glock!! As awesome as it is, my Sig fits better everywhere, and shoots better for me🤷♂️ Over all it comes down to what you shoot well and what you want! A great problem to have. I agree, the real winner is us!!
Last year I bought my sig p365XL and Glock 48 a few months ago both are fantastic and I do love sig sauer guns I still have the tan tactical sig mosquito lol and sig sp2022
@@1911syndicate true. Dont think you could go wrong with either! I've fell in love with my 365xl though. I've havent shot another semi auto as well as i shoot that gun. It's perfect in every way for a edc pistol imo. But hey the Glcoks not bad either.
@@scotmetcalf2745 The 48 is slimmer then the Glock 19 and many of the top TH-cam gun guys and ladies conceal carry it because of the 15 round capacity and they can still conceal it. Turned 21 yesterday so I bought my AR lower for my build as well as the the XL. It is perfect. It fits very well and is just solid. Spend the extra money from the get to buy Sig.
Good vid, currently deciding on the two. I like that the XL comes with the option to add a red dot while the Glock has to be bought as an MOS which is super hard to find at this time.
I have both. Both are great pistols. I like the Glock 48's sights. You can tell the Sig's barrel is shorter as it pops up more when shooting. The textured grip on the Sig is great to hold but I can't carry it IWB in the Desantis plastic holster because the grip is like sandpaper on my midsection. I have to use a leather holster. Soooo I'm staying with the G48 with the after market 15 round mag for my EDC, but it's nice knowing I have a choice.
I’m really attracted to the p365 XL, mainly because you have the option of the 12rd shorter grip or a 15rd extended mag that matches my current edc g19.5 grip. So... options you have
I went with the P365, not the XL as I didn't want the longer slide for AIWB carry and can put a XL lower on it for $40 if I want the larger grip, but, agree 100% About the triggers. My Gen 4 Glock 19 trigger, with the only modification being the smooth trigger shoe and polished internals, has a better trigger than the Sig, for me. Sig has a much cleaner take-up, but then it's a ton of creep to the break. The glock has horrible take up, but I could care less as I take this out before the shot, then a nice defined wall and a crisp break. Way too many people put those terrible 3.5 lb connectors in their glock then complain about how mushy it feels. Stop putting 3.5 lb connectors in your glock.
I'm way late to the party here but this video was in my suggestions and its the first time Ive seen one of your videos. I subscribed and liked this vid. I will say, you have a great radio voice dude! (No Diddy) I might have to check out the pod cast.
You can now order the 48 with an rmr cutout and nite sights, I also believe the 365xl also comes similarly set up and around the same price so it really comes down to comfort shooting and concealing.
Just picked up a set of 365xl's, one for CINC-HOME, one for me. Her first HD/CC unit. I grew up on the FN Hi-Power, then shifted to a NH T3 for a number of years now prefer the HK45CT while testing out the FNX45T. I am surprised by the XL. IMHO the XL feels, OOTB, like a very well tuned CC Defensive weapon. We have the manual safety variant, no red dots (yet). With 12 or 15 rounds on tap, and such small mags, this gun is easy to keep rounds on target, extra rounds easily on tap and with the right ammo, I am sure it will do the job most effectively. Never thought I'd see the day where I would find a micro 9 striker gun that I'd prefer over the units I grew up with.
Can you do a follow up video where you go head to head with each one testing them while firing downrange whilst barrel rolling. I feel like that will clear a lot up for me. Also I'm having trouble fitting my scope on the 43. Just doesn't fit my ccw needs.
Great video!!! My EDC is my Glock G48 & so far I love it. In terms of capacity as you know you can purchase 15 round mags for the G48. I carry 2 PSA Micro Dagger 15 round mags & 1 OEM mag. So far zero issues with the PSA mags!! I subscribed!!!👍👍👍👍
Shield Arms S15 magazine increases capacity to 15+1 and Sig 365 XL is left behind sucking dust! Now the Glock 48 becomes the best full size shooter that also works well for concealed carry!
Hey 1911Syndicate, just start following you on TH-cam and subscribe. The Glock 48 and Sig 365xl are the guns I’m trying to choose for my next edc. What I’ve notice in the after market places the Sig stuff more expensive than the Glock stuff and there more aftermarket stuff for Glock than Sig. but that not the only comparison that I look for. Comparisons I look for is shooting ability, handles good, carry’s good like not too heavy where at end of day my right side is aching and my pants are falling down and I’ve got to readjust the constantly. I’ve watched numerous review videos. But my research continues
Gabriel Molina - I also carry a 19 and looking for something easier to conceal in the summer months. Do you notice a difference with the P365XL vs the 19?
@@RAnthonyphotos Your reply is 5 months old so I'm assuming you found the answer? The P365XL is .2" slimmer, 4 oz lighter, just as tall and slightly shorter in length than the Glock 19. Same 15 rd capacity but the P365XL is a noticeably thinner, lighter and easier gun to conceal and carry than the Glock 19.
To get the 48 to compete with the XL out the box will cost at least $400 without even adding in stippling. The most interesting part that has me torn now is the 15 rd mags you can get for the 48. The XL is without a doubt the better deal but I'm seriously leaning towards purchasing a 48 and doing a ton of work to it. It needs slide cut for red dot, new night sights, new mag release, new 15 rd mags just to start. How accurate is the 48 compared to the XL? One of the strengths of Sig 365 models is the accuracy.
I do carry a P365 on the occasion I carry a "deep concealment" pistol. I owned a couple of Glocks (19s) 20 years ago and never warmed up to them. Hits to 25 yds. with the SIG are very doable.
I own both love both. However if i only had to pick one id pick the 365xl all day long however if you can get your hands on the s15 mags glock will be my go to edc most likley
With the new Shield mags for glock you get 15 flush or 20 rounds with the extension I think now it goes to Glock for the win even though you buy the mags.
Higher round count only matters if the everything else is equal, or if the Sig had a woefully low capacity. Neither is the case. The 365XL will still have superior sights and an optic cut slide out of the box.
@@JaronActual the sig is turning out to be a good little pistol. I think either would be a great choice to be honest. Glocks are known for terrific reliability but the drawbacks are you definitely have to spend some money on top of buying the gun to get it to a place to actually carry. Glock stock sights are a joke and the trigger pull can fluctuate from 5.5 to 9.5 which super sucks! I will add though that I just picked up a Gen 5 26 that actually has a good usable trigger. Anyway all good points for the sig have a great night. Rick
I own numerous Glocks. My G43 aims and shoots better than my P365 12 rd. Tac-Pac. The reason is the palm swell or lack thereof and general grip configuration. SIG got it right on the P365XL plus a 0.6" longer barrel. Am going to purchase a P365XL configured with a HOLOSUN 507C GREEN DOT as soon as they make the chassis in TITANIUM. The P365 is a small deep concealment and pocket gun and the P365XL IS an intermediate sized deep concealment gun. I know this because I fired 40 rounds through a friend of mine's P365XL with the factory sights. Shoot both P365 and P365XL and you will see. Don't really like the P365 SIG DAO Striker trigger. Like the Zev, Apex, Lone Wolf Dist., Overwatch Precision, etc upgrade triggers for Glocks. Nothing like them available for SIGs due to the way they are built. Straight trigger shoe on P365XL makes NO difference. Standard Glock trigger on my latest MADE IN SMYRNA, GA, GLOCK 19 was amazingly good. Better than SIG DAO hands down. My favourite is the LWD UAT trigger upgrade. And YES the standard Glock sights are not good. I have a couple of sight pushers and kits for those pushers that allow me to change and upgrade the sights myself. I have never screwed one up even on one of my custom 1911's. My new race gun is a Zev// Custom build on a G19 Gen3 gripframe. Has a HOLOSUN 507T GREEN sight. The Gen3 frame is perfect for me and the Holosun sight is perfect. Aims and shoots well and quickly. NOT NEARLY AS CONCEALABLE AS THE G43 OR P365 OR P365XL.
I have the complete opposite experience i shoot the 365 way better than the g43, so much so for the 365 I’m consistently hitting 8-12 inch swinging plates at 50yds maybe miss one or two it of 10
I respectfully disagree about the price difference. A new set of Ameriglo GL-436 Hackathorn sights run 54.19 on Amazon right now and you can put Talon grips on for 20. The Talon grips will keep you from messing up a stipple job. Although I have done several Glocks and never messed one up. Its really not that hard to do. The S15 mags will be a major game changer once they fully hit the market. And right now over on AR15.com you can find a thread where a guy has modified 365 mags to fit the 48 (I maybe mis-remembering he might have had to modify the gun)
The optics cut would cost more if someone wanted that. But personally I dont need or want one. In the video he states that new sights would be around 130 bucks if i remember correctly and I was respectfully disagreeing with that statement.
And who is going to put your 54.19 sights on for free, and test fire and tune for free to make sure they are aligned? Do it yourself, and you are looking at minimum 50 bucks for tools, plus ammo cost. You are back up to 115-120 for the sights . And you still wont' have a rail, nor the optic cut.
@@RK-db4oq if you buy the tool and use it more than once it pays for itself in no time. I have one of the cheaper ones and I've changed several sets of sights. Plus if you buy the tool you can charge your friends 5 or 10 bucks to do their sights and recoup the cost.
@@codyfowler5898 optic cut isn't placed correctly anyway. You can't use iron sights behind it, if red dot fails. Yes it's got small ones built in but their barely usable and not usable in the dark. $150 to cut slide to your liking.
After sending sigs back to the factory for problems giving them three chances to fix one of their models and then trying two different models of sig pistols I won't buy anything labeled sig.
Some people don't watch (or can't watch) the video--can only listen (e.g., while driving). So it would help a great deal if you didn't use only non-verbal cues to make your point. I truly could not tell which gun you were recommending to buy without going back and watching the video. Other than that good job. And I think all your points are spot on. The Sig p365 XL is almost a perfect gun--small and light enough to carry IWB every day, yet big enough to not be a chore to shoot at the range, and to hit at distance. Now if they would only give it a manual safety I'd buy it, as I appendix carry and won't do that with a gun that does not have one. And the trigger is too flat too, but that's just nitpicking.
You can buy really good Glock night sights for far less than $130. There are a ton of options in the $65 - $85 range. You can get Truglo fiber optic sights for Glocks for less than $50. Installing Glock sights with a basic sight pusher is very simple. However, I agree that the basic plastico Glock sights are terrible, and the P365xl (and P365) sights are far better. The option to buy Shield arms 15 round magazines (with the recommended metal mag release) makes the G43x/G48 extremely size efficient. RMR plate on a CCW pistol is meh. Having said all that, I'd love to have a P365xl in addition to my regular P365. Although, I'd switch the flat P365xl trigger for the curved one from the regular P365. PS: I own both a (regular) P365 and a G48.
The sig is a fine pistol but I think the Glock with the S15 mag is the superior gun but that of course is just my opinion. I don’t think you can go wrong with either.
I got the xl with a Romeo x and Tlr 7 flashlight and I carry it on a $10 Blackhawk size 3 inside the waist holster.. I can't believe it I carry it like a compact with all those accessories on it..
@Chris Indermuehle ?? You get 15+1 versus 12+1...so the capacity is about 20% more. Do I wish Glock had come out with it? Yes. Do I trust it to carry after having shot tons with two mags (I carry 14+1)? Yes. I still love the P365 (with XL frame) too though.
Chris Indermuehle pathetic that you still come in under the Sig’s price tag while doing all that to the G43X, and still end up with a more reliable gun...
There actually IS a very slight/minimal mag well in the Glock 48. Take a second look, its small because the frame is thin but there is a little mag well.
One undeniable advantage the 48 has is aftermarket upgrades. 15 round mags, and guide rod lasers are aftermarket upgrades that can be done without changing it size or footprint of the pistol. As far as I'm aware these 'upgrades' do not exist in the marketplace for the SIG. (Yet?)
I thought I wanted a Glock 43x based on the reviews until I went and rented one a couple weeks ago. I haven't shot a whole bunch of pistols so take this with a grain of salt, but I wasn't thrilled with it. Sights were lousy yes, but I also disliked the trigger and muzzle flip for a little 9mm; I'm used to shooting a PPQ 45. I'm going to have to try the P365 XL and a Walther PPQ subcompact.
My first, and present, gun is a Remington RM380, which I also carry regularly (has been 100% awesome, shoots everything). This was my first foray into firearms. Now that I have more knowledge, experience, training, and understanding under my belt I was looking for a 9mm to carry. I am only 5'6" and don't have a lot of realestate on me for concealment so I was looking for something small, but also didn't want a maximum snappy gun either. When the P365 came out I was pretty excited but concerned about how snappy it would be. Then the XL came out and I figured this would answer all my personal needs. I wanted capacity (12+1 works for me), concealability, accuracy, and controllability. The XL meets all these and was confirmed when I attended a SIG "Try before you Buy" event. Given 3 shots, my target had virtually only 2 holes in it. Two shots were that close together, and the third was less than in inch away, in a gun I never touched before. It felt great in my hand, and I know I can conceal this on me easily. This, along with great sights, is a no brainer for me. I am waiting for mine to arrive.
I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I've got a S&W M&P .40 that's my first gun. It was left to me by my uncle who passed away in January. It's a nice gun but too big to carry for me. I was researching on a carry gun and chose the 365 xl. Can't hardly wait to pick it up and go to the range.
Which conceals better? Does the "sliding" rear of the grip conceal well enough to warrant giving up 3 rounds? (Assuming you use the Shield mag, which seems like something that should be standard)
Was in the same boat today had the g48 and the 365xl on the counter have been with glock forever. went with the sig 365xl got in the car and told my wife i felt weird for not buying the glock 48 hope i made the right decision.
Ford vs Ferrari is a great movie. You need to watch it. Get the shield arms Mags for your Glock 43x or 48 and now you have 15+1 and 20+1 for your backup mags with the S15 + 5 baseplate.
Never understood the hate for the glock sights ... i shoot very well with them.
I wish they made them tritium glow
you have your Ford, Ferrari analysis backwards
I think you’re right. I owned both of these, but I sold the G48. For me, it wasn’t even close, the XL won in every category that was important to me
The point was that Glock is Ferrari because they've been the market leader for a long time.

I was about to comment that the Ferrari analogy breaks down at “plastic sights”. This looks like a good place to put the observation.
I think closer comparison would be Sig 365XL vs. Glock 43x in terms of dimensions etc.
The XL is still more concealable
I agree
By 1/4"
Yes, I’ve held them up together and they’re practically the same size.
@@matt_h_27 No it doesn't. Are you ignorant of the Shield S15 mags.
I love Glocks, but when I wanted a 9mm ccw I went with the 365xl. More concealable, with better capacity. Sig really innovated here.
How’s the reliability and overall impression of it been?
15+1 is greater than 12, in the real world. this comparison should've been done with the g43x.
The Glock “dog shit” sight rant was great, and on point. Sub’d.
Welcome to sub life. Not like that tho
1911 Syndicate the 15 round shield arms flush mags makes the 365xl irrelevant. Argue with me
1911 Syndicate your whole argument in this video about mag capacity is completely irrelevant taking into account these readily available magazines exist.
Absolutely love my Sig p365xl... it’s my current EDC!
Peace.
Nice good to hear
I'm a dealer. Waited many months to buy a wave 3 P365 to test (wanted to give them a chance to fix problems)
Broke in 266 rounds

@@TerranPlanetaryDefenseForce me either bro
It's all about the 365 XL baby
I have both. I love both. I will say that even with smaller hands the glock allows me to get more on it and is easier to control.
If G48 is more enjoyable to shoot, then what else is there to want? Mine came with Ameriglo tritium sights and the aftermarket S15 magazine makes it the perfect pistol for me. I do like the Sig as well. Hey, they are both guns. I want both of them....

@@wmoli872 It was notably funnier the second time. Loved the car analogy.

Thank you for the review.
Over a month’s time I tried many guns including the Glock 48, 45 & 19 and the Sig 45 and 365. As soon as I fired the Sig Sauer 365 xl I knew that was the gun for me. I purchased it as my concealed carry. I love it and have become very accurate within the last three weeks.
good call
Tim J Hickey Glock makes great firearms, SIG makes great firearms as well. Go with what you are more accurate with. Then train train train...
Is your Sig 45 a P220?
You can not compare a gun with another if you have to change parts first. Sig all the way.
For many years I carried a G26 and still do at times, Glock 48 with the shield arms 15 round magazine makes it a full fighting pistol that’s comfortable to carry.
Damn right, even with the "dog shit" sights.
people in general don't understand that it doesn't matter if you carry a gun if you can't shoot it effectively, the G48 in my opinion is the little big gun that you can carry and use it effectively as a self defense tool.
I’m with you, I carry g48 with Romeo zero and shield arms 15 round mag.
@@___meph___4547 me too just picked up a P365XL with the Romeo red dot. I love both the G48 and the Sig365XL.
Glock the Ferrari? 😂😂😂😂....that XL is the BEST subcompact carry pistol on the market....period!
@@RepentorPerish77 now you are speaking my love language! In the market for a p07 tactical right now. I love all of my CZs. My shadow 2 is one of my favorites to shoot. And my sig p226 legion
I got the XL. The manual safety and no trigger pull field strip did it for me.
s15 mag totally changes the game 43x and 48 are barely longer grip and 3 more rounds
Very good points, i have had the 43,48, shield and others, the XL just seems to hit MY perfect balance for me. Shoots great and really comfortable.
Yep I'm working on getting some S15 mags
Good comparison.....The 365XL with Optic is the PERFECT EDC. I have over 1200 rounds in mine with ZERO issues.
As awesome as it is, my Sig fits better everywhere, and shoots better for me🤷♂️
Over all it comes down to what you shoot well and what you want! A great problem to have. I agree, the real winner is us!!

@@1911syndicate true.
I know a lot of people will say otherwise, but as of today most of the major manufacturers of firearms make perfectly adequate pistols that will rarely if ever malfunction, absent user error.
If you buy a ccw pistol from Sig Sauer, Ruger, Glock, Walther, Springfield Armory, or Smith & Wesson then you will get a pistol that shoots reliably and accurately every time and the pistol will do its duty as long as you do yours.
Dont think you could go wrong with either! I've fell in love with my 365xl though. I've havent shot another semi auto as well as i shoot that gun. It's perfect in every way for a edc pistol imo. But hey the Glcoks not bad either.
With the new 15 round mag's from Shield Arms for the G48, it now destroys the Sig.
Destroys how? Do you conceal carry the 48? And if so can you carry with zero imprint? Thanks
@@scotmetcalf2745 The 48 is slimmer then the Glock 19 and many of the top TH-cam gun guys and ladies conceal carry it because of the 15 round capacity and they can still conceal it. So, yes the Glock 48 can be concealed with no printing. I agree with the sites comment. But, with new sites and 15 round magazine you can't beat the 48. Plus with longer barrel your hollow point will have greater expansion before hitting the target. The other cosmetic issues pointed out in the video is nothing compared to the positives. Then if you get the 43X your setup for life.

Why do you need 15 rounds, Rambo? Do you live in Afganistan or Brazilian favelas? Show me something 12 rounds cant do that 15 can in terms of average US city.
@@mikhailkurylenak1515 I had too many rounds today, said no one ever! Good call brother
What about the shield mags?
Solid in my experience
Great video. Bought the p365 xl & couldnt be happier.
Which one is more reliable and less prone to QC problems?
Likely the Glock. Never had issues with either though
Good vid, currently deciding on the two. I like that the XL comes with the option to add a red dot while the Glock has to be bought as an MOS which is super hard to find at this time.
Very good point
I have both. Both are great pistols. I like the Glock 48's sights. You can tell the Sig's barrel is shorter as it pops up more when shooting. The textured grip on the Sig is great to hold but I can't carry it IWB in the Desantis plastic holster because the grip is like sandpaper on my midsection. I have to use a leather holster. Soooo I'm staying with the G48 with the after market 15 round mag for my EDC, but it's nice knowing I have a choice.
Thanks; thanks a lot. Just bought a Glock 48, and it's a keeper. Now, I have to get the P365XL, too. :)
Love how you integrate logic in your entire presentation. Nice work! 👍🏻
logic is our friend
For me the G48 with S15 mags is an improvement over the G19. But the XL is easiest to carry everyday!
I’m really attracted to the p365 XL, mainly because you have the option of the 12rd shorter grip or a 15rd extended mag that matches my current edc g19.5 grip. So... options you have
try the after market 15 round magazines ....they work great and are flush with the grip, easy to conceal,....think Glock 19 BUTmo better for carry
Stop putting 3.5 lb connectors in your glock.
have owned the 365,the 365XL,and the G48.have shot all of them.sold both of the 365's kept the 48...nuff said!!
I got the sig 365 XL and i love it, it shoots amazing, the only thing i would change is the trigger.

You made all the sense in the world on this comparison. Thank you.
You can now order the 48 with an rmr cutout and nite sights, I also believe the 365xl also comes similarly set up and around the same price so it really comes down to comfort shooting and concealing.
And capacity...which sig still beats Glock in
Just picked up a set of 365xl's, one for CINC-HOME, one for me.
Yes we will release the footage soon along with the portion where I'm doing free style down hill skiing whilst shooting
I know I really gotta test out some of those mags

365 XL still at the time of this comment my pick for best all around carry gun

One year later it's still the p365xl, out the box the only upgrade you may want/need is mag guts +2.
Now you've done it. You're making me think.
I'm carrying Glock 19 other days the P365 XL they are equally affective.

@@RAnthonyphotos Your reply is 5 months old so I'm assuming you found the answer? The P365XL is .2" slimmer, 4 oz lighter, just as tall and slightly shorter in length than the Glock 19. Except the RMR doesn’t fit, until they innovate and slim down. You have to use shield or the proprietary Sig red dot,,,
There are others and you can get ANY slide cut for $150 to the make of your optic.

Haha I'll take it
The 365xl is substantially smaller than a G19. Even with the 15rd mag in the XL, it still much smaller.
No it's not, its much taller.
The Sig P365 XL is more comparable to the 43x
To get the 48 to compete with the XL out the box will cost at least $400 without even adding in stippling. The most interesting part that has me torn now is the 15 rd mags you can get for the 48. The XL is without a doubt the better deal but I'm seriously leaning towards purchasing a 48 and doing a ton of work to it. It needs slide cut for red dot, new night sights, new mag release, new 15 rd mags just to start. How accurate is the 48 compared to the XL? One of the strengths of Sig 365 models is the accuracy.
Yep the shield mags for the 48 are interesting
In the end of the day you want something comfortable and with alot of rounds, sig wins for me
I do carry a P365 on the occasion I carry a "deep concealment" pistol. I owned a couple of Glocks (19s) 20 years ago and never warmed up to them.
Hits to 25 yds. with the SIG are very doable.
Personally, I prefer the Sig. But, hey, whatever blows your skirt up.
I own both love both. However if i only had to pick one id pick the 365xl all day long however if you can get your hands on the s15 mags glock will be my go to edc most likley
Yea those mags will be legit provided they're reliable
With the new Shield mags for glock you get 15 flush or 20 rounds with the extension I think now it goes to Glock for the win even though you buy the mags.
Don't forget if you don't replace the Glock magazine release the metal mags will eat up the Glock mag. release. Where's the win?
Higher round count only matters if the everything else is equal, or if the Sig had a woefully low capacity. Neither is the case. The 365XL will still have superior sights and an optic cut slide out of the box.
@@ckim6400 easy fix replace the mag release.

I got a Glock 48 MOS and I love it... but I’m in the market for a 365XL as well lol
check your facts and dont waste your money.
I have the complete opposite experience i shoot the 365 way better than the g43, so much so for the 365 I’m consistently hitting 8-12 inch swinging plates at 50yds maybe miss one or two it of 10
I have the 48 and love it but I will check out the sig now because of your video.

Bo Bowles what about the optic cut

Hey man next to you show a grip comparison show the right angle I couldn't compare, peace
I chose the p365xl over a glock because it doesn't really require upgrades to the sights or trigger.
Very true
After sending sigs back to the factory for problems giving them three chances to fix one of their models and then trying two different models of sig pistols I won't buy anything labeled sig.
Keaton Jorgensen Agreed. Their quality has gone very downward.
BS!
Even the glock fanboys have to fall over themselves to come up with reasons to go with the Glock over the Sig. lol
Held a glock 48 today and it’s definitely tighter fit in the hand, but i would never swap my 365xl we are soul mates
The sig is a fine pistol but I think the Glock with the S15 mag is the superior gun but that of course is just my opinion. I don’t think you can go wrong with either.
I have a 365x(switched the grip mod on 365 it was too small in hand.) . Is it worth buying the XL?
I got the xl with a Romeo x and Tlr 7 flashlight and I carry it on a $10 Blackhawk size 3 inside the waist holster.. I can't believe it I carry it like a compact with all those accessories on it..
If Glock is Ferrari then H&K is McLaren
I too wonder about the 365xl vs 43x
Kudos to Glock for forcing the hand of Sig and others. The results are a huge win for consumers 🙂
You might not knew yet but there's 15 round flush fit mags for 48 and 43x from shield arms
At the time of filming I hadn’t gotten hands on them. We did do a review on the S15’s a few months ago
A better comparison is the P365 XL to the G43X with a 15rd SHIELD S15 magazine.
43X's don't come from the factory S15 mags.
Jimmy D no, but with tritium sights, and 2 s15 mags, it is a wash in price with the Sig.
Chris Indermuehle and reality... reality.

There actually IS a very slight/minimal mag well in the Glock 48. Take a second look, its small because the frame is thin but there is a little mag well.
Now with the G48 and G43X MOS with rail what is the verdict now?
The verdict is that I'm mad at Glock for making my shit outdated months after I bought it
One undeniable advantage the 48 has is aftermarket upgrades. 15 round mags, and guide rod lasers are aftermarket upgrades that can be done without changing it size or footprint of the pistol. As far as I'm aware these 'upgrades' do not exist in the marketplace for the SIG. (Yet?)
Yes agreed
I didn't get it. What do you think of the factory sights on the Glock?
I usually vomit when I hear the string of words "factory sights on the glock"
Which conceals better? Does the "sliding" rear of the grip conceal well enough to warrant giving up 3 rounds? (Assuming you use the Shield mag, which seems like something that should be standard)
I did not have the S15 mags. XL will be a slights smaller foot print
Solid assessment. Agreed. 48 is a little easier to shoot. That’s about it.
There a place for both of these, depending on the weather
Was in the same boat today had the g48 and the 365xl on the counter have been with glock forever. went with the sig 365xl got in the car and told my wife i felt weird for not buying the glock 48 hope i made the right decision.
For what it's worth I bought a 365 XL today and I do not own a 48
What is it about the safety on the Glock trigger that you like?
Simply that there is one
Ford vs Ferrari is a great movie. You need to watch it. Get the shield arms Mags for your Glock 43x or 48 and now you have 15+1 and 20+1 for your backup mags with the S15 + 5 baseplate.
