how exactly does this apply to "getting the things we want in life"? the study looked at outcomes for cancer patients... did they somehow cure themselves? or are we just finding new ways to demonize mental health and those who have a hard time overcoming chronic issues especially chronic pain and mental illness? this is so basic that its toxic. it's magical thinking being pushed by science now which is just.... bizarre.
