mashaAllah! the joy you find in these books is apparent. I used to sweat shoes and other meaningless things in this same way,, to see u do so over scriptures for the sake of Allah, and in the continual pursuit of knowledge and educating others in the practice of Islam is truly beautiful to me😁
I really want to read all those books behind sheikh Uthman. Then I though I will just call myself “ex muslim” and suddenly I will become expert in Islam and Arabic language🤔.

For the brothers just starting out please go slowly one book at a time and act upon your knowledge it's much more important than just reading many books you need to realize 99% of people will never get even close to the level and knowledge of sheikh Usman this is a gift from Allah better to practice little knowledge we have
I knew you gonna say that book because you said the shaykh had a skill of making simple complicated issues i know from experience using his works he is exactly fits that description. Any class I attend if the shaykh has covered i always refer to his first to get clear picture of the issues like his sharh on mukhtasar tahrir currently studying it with institute of linguists. As a Hanbali Fiqh student his Sharh Mumti despite it not being from the relied upon works in the hanbali madhab but still he does great job in simplifying the masaail and cryptic language of the fuqahaa which students of our time need otherwise he will be stuck. Classical shuruh tend to have cryptic language style but the shaykh addresses you like you a child. Sh ibn uthaymin style is like the ignition of the car or gear 1 i.e he gets us started gives the base.
Ustadh may Allah preserve you, do you have a new revised standard edition at your home. Since that one would be better for dawah. Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard they go back to their earliest greek manuscripts. Which one would you prefer as the most authentic we have today? JazakAllahu ghairan

No brother this is by Sheikh Muhammad Ibn salih al Uthaymeen (R) titled Sharh al Mumti ala Zad al Mustaqni. Shaykh Fawzan’s commentary is a short one, Sharh al Mumti is detailed explanation of Zad al Mustaqni.
When little interest of rasoolullah (pbuh) enters the heart, it may help in following the Deen in the proper form. Confusion about poetry Poetry in love of rasoolullah (sallalahu alayhi wassallam) was composed for the benefit of Muslims so they can appreciate some of his unique characteristics. By listening to them, people can also learn how to mention him with respect and this may transform some people. Listening to respectful words can change aggressive people. However,a confusion exist regarding. Some people have heard myths about them. One of them is that, a certain poem(qaseedah burdah Shareef) has a special status or it's the most read text by Muslims besides Quran or it's written in the tomb of Nabi. There's no way to prove any of these claims. There's no way to prove what Muslims read most now. Anyway, a poem written by a Sahabi such as Hassan Ibn Thabit is not of the same status as others. If we need more of Allahs Rahma poems composed by Sahaba must be preferred. Others are also important. Benefits from reciting poetry depends on the reciters interest in it and how much respect he shows to it. Respect here means, mentioning rasoolullah (sallalahu alayhi wassallam) in a tone of awe,softness and honour. For example, one line in one poem is "Nabiyun Nabiyun Nabiyun" To recite it with proper etiquette is really hard. If one reads incorrectly it may sound as if he is aggressively scolding someone and listeners become bored of Deen. Such reciters pronounce "ba" in the word Nabiyun with a heavy accent. A person respectful of rasoolullah (pbuh) would recite "ba" in a soft and tender tone resulting in the resonance of love. When little interest of rasoolullah (pbuh) enters the heart, it may help in following the Deen in the proper form.
Thamamah ibn Shufayy reported: We were with Fadalah ibn ‘Ubayd in the land of the Romans by a place known as Rudis. One of our companions passed away, so Fadalah ordered his grave to be levelled flat. Then, Fadalah said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordering them to be leveled.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 968 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim عن ثُمَامَة بْن شُفَيّ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ بِرُودِسَ فَتُوُفِّيَ صَاحِبٌ لَنَا فَأَمَرَ فَضَالَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ بِقَبْرِهِ فَسُوِّيَ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُ بِتَسْوِيَتِهَا 968 صحيح مسلم كتاب الجنائز باب الأمر بتسوية القبر First go and learn deen instead of accusing Shaikh Uthaymeen.Shaikh Uthaymeen is not the one who ordered to do this,it is Rasool Allah Sallalahu Alaihiwassalam who ordered do that and I have mentioned the hadith .

Confusion about poetry
Poetry in love of rasoolullah (sallalahu alayhi wassallam) was composed for the benefit of Muslims so they can appreciate some of his unique characteristics. By listening to them, people can also learn how to mention him with respect and this may transform some people. Listening to respectful words can change aggressive people.
However,a confusion exist regarding. Some people have heard myths about them. One of them is that, a certain poem(qaseedah burdah Shareef) has a special status or it's the most read text by Muslims besides Quran or it's written in the tomb of Nabi. There's no way to prove any of these claims. There's no way to prove what Muslims read most now. Anyway, a poem written by a Sahabi such as Hassan Ibn Thabit is not of the same status as others. If we need more of Allahs Rahma poems composed by Sahaba must be preferred. Others are also important. Benefits from reciting poetry depends on the reciters interest in it and how much respect he shows to it. Respect here means, mentioning rasoolullah (sallalahu alayhi wassallam) in a tone of awe,softness and honour.
For example, one line in one poem is
"Nabiyun Nabiyun Nabiyun"
To recite it with proper etiquette is really hard. If one reads incorrectly it may sound as if he is aggressively scolding someone and listeners become bored of Deen. Such reciters pronounce "ba" in the word Nabiyun with a heavy accent. A person respectful of rasoolullah (pbuh) would recite "ba" in a soft and tender tone resulting in the resonance of love.

Thamamah ibn Shufayy reported: We were with Fadalah ibn ‘Ubayd in the land of the Romans by a place known as Rudis. One of our companions passed away, so Fadalah ordered his grave to be levelled flat. Then, Fadalah said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordering them to be leveled.”

First go and learn deen instead of accusing Shaikh Uthaymeen.Shaikh Uthaymeen is not the one who ordered to do this,it is Rasool Allah Sallalahu Alaihiwassalam who ordered do that and I have mentioned the hadith .
