I've always felt the challenge when studying Islamic books because there is so much writing (hadiths, rulings, minor details, etc) how much to write in your own notes to study compared to just using the text as the main studying point for remembering info and taking minor notes

Egypt has terrible pens. I get one of these pens and start writing with it and right away in the middle of my second class with it it stops rolling ink. Not to mention, if my toddler ever finds my pens, they get scattered and all the caps left off of my highlighters 😂😂😂 والله مستعان
I'm disappointed that you referred to books by ppl like Ibn Abdul Wahhab, who's a low-grade pseudo-alim at best, and a rebellious unlearned (in the traditional schools of Islamic scholarship) badawi heretic that was against all the major scholars of his time and who laid the foundation for one of the most anti-Islam regime that the Muslim world has seen so far, while posing as the 'only islamic country that applies the shariah', which is what their propaganda is by all their mouthpieces. It's sad that you're propagandizing for that poor version of Islam and Islamic scholarship and most importantly, Islamic practice, as we can all see what they do and how they put their version of Islam into practice.
