16:14 - worth mentioning that as great as Ibn Qāsim's Hāshiyah is, he often copies and pastes from other books without referencing where he got them from - e.g. he takes from Ibn Fayrooz's Hāshiyah on Al-Rawd. He also doesn't really point out the mu'tamad of the Madhhab and largely gives tarjeeh to the ikhtiyarāt of Shaykh Al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah. It's important to be aware of these issues when studying Hanbali Fiqh.
Assalam, with humble intentions, i want to remind you that it is: BismilaHEE alrahmaniraheem, AlhamdOULEELaHEE rabEEL ‘alameen. dont forget the first Laam and Haa with the kasra and the Dama on the Daal. Because its the words of Allah we have to make sure our pronunciation is as best as possible. May Allah bring us ease.
Uthman studied in the Khaleej, they prefer Zad to Dalil (which is the more Shami option). *The isnad in Najd goes through al-Hajjawi who also learnt and taught there.
Assalamualaikum sheikh , I am from India, here Hanafi fiqh is dominant but there is so much sect here, there is Deobandi here, there are Barelvi and both of them preach wrong things, so what should I do now?
You need to realise that although those misguided sects follow the Fiqh of Imaam Abu Hanifa, they don't follow his creed (though they claim they do), as all the 4 Imaams were of the creed of Ahl Al Sunnah wa Al Jama'ah Alhamdulillah So studying the Fiqh of the Hanafi school is not blame worthy or anything of the sort, as long as you find a Shaykh (teacher) upon the Creed of the Sahabah, you're good! May Allah make it easy for you and aid you in your endeavour.
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته If one is currently unable to study with a shaykh, but has some free time, what do you think of him/her starting with 'umdatul Fiqh if they can read with a basic understanding of the grammar and modest vocabulary? Can someone give me a review or their opinion or link or reference of other scholars on the book of fiqh Umdat as-Salik wa 'Uddat an-Nasik which is recognised also recognised by Al-Azhar university. Islamaphobe kept using it to attack muslim yet I have yet to heard of it used in any of our Syafi'i madhab fatwas..
13:53 - correction: شرح الممتع is by Shaykh Ibn Al-Uthaymin not Al-Fawzan. 15:04 - the book is called الروض المربع not الروضة المربع. 15:15 - the name of the author is "Al-Buhooti". Sorry for being pedantic but I've heard you mispronounce his name in another video where you were unpacking كشاف القناع. Also worth noting the hāshiyah by Dār Al-Minhāj only covers 'ibadāt not mu'amalāt as far as I remember. BārakAllāhu feek

i Unais وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته I don’t believe you need to restrict yourself to a particular madh-hab due to geographical location. I would suggest books like Zād al-Mustaqni and Dalīl at-Tālib or Akhsar al-Mukhtasarāt but if you can not find a good teacher to teach you these books nor can you follow explanations online then I would suggest منهاج الطالبين للإمام النووي Minjāj at-Tālibīn of Imām An-Nawawī as a good starting book in Shāfi’ī Fiqh with a teacher who can always go back to the proofs إن شاء الله
Minhaaj At-Taalibeen is the LAST book studied in the Shaafi’ee Madzhab, NOT the first; it is the book which the Mufti gives Fatwa out of. For the Shaafi’iyyah, one studies Matn Safeenatun-Najaah, then Muqaddimah Al-Hadhramiyyah then Matn Abee Shujaa’ then one moves on to intermediary level by studying ‘Umdatus-Saalik, Sharh Matn Az-Zubad, Fiqhul Manhajee so on so forth.

Haither Ali TBH not sure how much I have spend on books altogether but it will be more than 10k for sure. I don’t buy from online retailers, they are too expensive and the shipping is expensive. I buy my books mostly in person during Umrah, Hajj, family trips and at international book fairs. I always have a list of books I want to buy and if someone I know is going for Umrah or to a country they can easily purchase books, then I will give them the money to buy and it bring it back to me.
I dont know what you are saying because you're Ayns are so strong. Can you at least write the names of the books in your description or in the comments please.
Assalamu alykum wa Rahmantullahi wa barakatuhu. Sheikh i am a muslim but i wasnt practicing. Through the guidance of Allah (swt) i realized i was doing wrong. Now sheikh i am 18 yrs old and i will have a graduated on physics in sha Allah since i love physics. But the porblem is i want to study fiqh, aqeedah, etc. That's why i made up a list which has almost 80 islamic books. Which University can u refer for me to study on islam after completing graduated on physics (in sha Allah). Also i want to study islam atleast 10 yrs because i have studied other subjects more then 10 yrs but islam is the way of life and i didnt studied islam a little bit. In present day my country (Bangladesh) has so many people who have no knowledge of islam but they are giving fatwa and doing a lot of fitna. Futher more, people are becoming atheist due to lack of knowledge of islam. I want help, i want to study islam in a Islamic university and i am currently following shafei madhab. Please refer me a Islamic university or where can i go for study and where can i find sheikh like you (in my sense ur truly intelligent) because in my country University is not good so much politics.
وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته The best option is Islamic University in madinah The benefits of studying there are a lot.but the main benefit is that it gives you the opportunity to study in Prophets city and in prophet's Masjid.you can study with shuyookh .also University is free.so I would recommend you applying there
I see that the Shaykh follows the madhab of Imam Ahmad رحمه الله, the isseu is that the ummah unanimously follows the 4 madhahib, would Shaykh Uthman come out with another video of the other 3 mujtahid imams Abu Hanifa, Malik and Shafi'i رحمهم الله? The beginning of the video, Shaykh didn't maje it clear to the ummah of which of tge 4 mujtahid imams he was recommending. Thank you
The ummah doesn’t all follow the four madhabs, people used to follow the madhab of awzai and thawri and Layth Ibn Sa’d. Some people even today are Dhahiri. And I think that the sheikh talked about the hanbali madhab as that is the one he knows the most.
@@العقيلي-ف7و I used unanimously to mean the majority of tge ummah. Imam Awza'i, Susan at-Thawri and others opinions died after they left the world, thus is because their opinions couldn't stand the scrutiny of the scholars. The truth lies within these 4. The Dhahiris and tge Shia' are a small minority
@@alhassangangu4357 What? Unanimously means consensus. Secondly, the opinions of Thawri, Awzaee and Layth are still in the books of fiqh even though they don’t have large followers today. As for your remark that their fiqh couldn’t stand the scrutiny of the scholars that is completely false. Imam Ash-Shaf’i said that Imam Layth Ibn Sa’d had more fiqh than Imam Malik and Ath Thawri was similar to Abu Hanifa but he had more Hadith. And Imam al-Awzaee was the IMAM of the people of Shaam. The only reason their madhabs died out is because their students didn’t live up to standard and were weak. This is what Imam Shaf’i said regarding Imam Layth, that he had more knowledge than Malik but his students failed him. And it is completely unacceptable to compare the Dhahiris to the Shia. The Shia are a completely misguided group while the dhahiris is a madhab in fiqh. And many times the truth lies outside the four Imams and the haqq lies with Sufyan ath Thawri or al-Awzaee or Layth Ibn Sa’d. May Allaah bless you akhi this is just telling you for the sake of knowledge not to be rude. We’re all brothers at the end of the day. I’d advise checking out Ustadh AbdulRahman Hassan’s videos on the four madhab. He made a history of the Hanafi, Maliki, Shaf’i, Hanbali and Dhahiri madhab. Another channel you should check out is Eissa Abu Noor who has videos on the four madhahib and the ones that died out like the madhab of Imam Ibn Jarir at-Tabari. Not to mention some of these scholars are more knowledgeable than the four Imams. Also there are the Tabi’in and their followers who have more virtue and knowledge. Or even Imams like Bukhari and Abu Dawud who they themselves were Mujtahids. May Allaah have mercy upon all of the scholars and us both and May Allaah make us from them. Btw what madhab are you studying?
@@العقيلي-ف7و what are the fiqh books? Name them please 🙏. There are scattered opinions of Awza'i and Sufyan Al-Thawri. Who were their students? Omam Muhammad ash-Shaybani studied with Awza'i, Al-Thawri, Imama Malik and other Imams who were contemporaries to Imam Abu Hanifa. Whether we like it or not, the truth lies within the 4 madhahib not outside. It was not a conspiracy against the other mujtahid imams. Their opinions weren't strong enough against these 4.
Asalaamualaykum , Ustaadh do you organise your books via subjects, centuries or by individuals, this is in reference to books aside from those which you've displayed through the many videos. As you said previously your library is way more extensive than that which is witnessed. It would be beneficial to have a virtual tour of how a beginner student of knowledge should build, navigate and work through his/her given library. lastly could you please bring to light the significance of books and their station upon the quest for seeking knowledge. Jazakallahu-Khairan.
Wild Flower I organize by subject and then within a subject further criteria is used for optimal organization. For example in the section on Aqīdah I further organize by good and bad Aqīdah books and then chronologically organize my Aqīdah books. Fiqh is segregated by book of Usūl and books of Furū’ and then by madh-hab and then each book with its related shuruh and then chronological ordered. Yes .. I spend a lot of time on this LOL
Hanbali mazhab only have few books available on fiqh, not as abundance as Shafi'i or Hanafi mazhab. I pitty Hanbali mazhab because their mazhab still not complete and they're still debating whether to accept Usul fiqh or not because majority of them considered it haram same as ilm Kalam 😂. That's why majority of Islamic scholars in the past were follower of mazhab Shafi'i. I'm from Malaysia we follow mazhab Shafi'i because the da'i that came here were from Egypt Mamluk Sultanate. We got many Shafi'i fiqh kitab available in Malay language because our ulama wrote it in Malay and because of its abundance, one can become faqih in Shafi'i fiqh with just mastering the Shafi'i kitab in Malay language, I think its the same happened in India or Pakistan with just Urdu language, one can mastered Hanafi fiqh because of abundance of Hanafi kitab in Urdu language.

He also critically engages with the madhab, which is why Neo-Hanbalis hate him and Ibn Uthaymeen.
Assalam, with humble intentions, i want to remind you that it is: BismilaHEE alrahmaniraheem, AlhamdOULEELaHEE rabEEL ‘alameen. dont forget the first Laam and Haa with the kasra and the Dama on the Daal. Assalamualaikum sheikh , I am from India, here Hanafi fiqh is dominant but there is so much sect here, there is Deobandi here, there are Barelvi and both of them preach wrong things, so what should I do now?
Find ahle hadith
You need to realise that although those misguided sects follow the Fiqh of Imaam Abu Hanifa, they don't follow his creed (though they claim they do), as all the 4 Imaams were of the creed of Ahl Al Sunnah wa Al Jama'ah Alhamdulillah
So studying the Fiqh of the Hanafi school is not blame worthy or anything of the sort, as long as you find a Shaykh (teacher) upon the Creed of the Sahabah, you're good!
May Allah make it easy for you and aid you in your endeavour.

@@العقيلي-ف7و Hive me example of fiqh issues that the 4 got wrong while Awza'i, Thawri or Layth got right. GIVE ME ONE ISSUE

Yes it is 👍
Hanbali mazhab only have few books available on fiqh, not as abundance as Shafi'i or Hanafi mazhab.
