I especially appreciate the reminder at the start subhanallah. This reminds me how sometimes we can benefit more from the adab of our mashayekh even more than their actaul knowledge/speech.

Not entirely. Millions of Arabs know Arabic and they don’t practise. Most Arabic counties they have left the deen to bare minimum. Football is more important than increasing imaan. Arabic doesn’t increase the imaan - but with the right intention and practice of what you know - then is is useful

I first used to memorise 10 vocabs a day with sentence. Memorise words with sentences. I did that for 1 year.
Then I traveled to an Arab country to improve my speaking.

Mashallah very informative video. May Allah grant me the ability to move to the Middle East one day and improve my Arabic and attain more knowledge. Currently have to keep my full time job here in the west to provide for myself and my parents.
May Allah make it easier for you. I advise that you strive to find a job my dear brother and make dua that Allah opens your doors. Abu Qatadah reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, you will never leave anything for the sake of Allah Almighty but that Allah will replace it with something better for you.”

You can improve your Arabic and increase your knowledge where you are. Grass not always greener on the other side. Plentiful resources online and locally to support you.
Some of the most knowledgeable brothers I know are from the west. Focus, dedication, striving and dua. You can achieve your goals where you are.
Providing for yourself and your parents is a great deed. Don't think low of what you do. Start learning Arabic after work akhi and memorize some Quran and Hadith. There are online ways to study islam if you have to provide for your family.
One should strive to seek means to live in a muslim country and not with the kufaar of the west. Raising your children with their corrupt morales and values will harm your children by them adapting to their ways. You didn’t mention you live in the west but I assumed that you are. However, if not, then yes you should utilize the resources you have in your own country first.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I disown every Muslim who settles among the mushrikeen.” Narrated by Abu Dawood, 2645; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

Allahumma barik this video demonstrates the ocean of knowledge we have been blessed with Allahu akbar! This literally destroys all the hostility stemming from non-Muslims who point with their fingers at us thinking we can't prove anything we believe in and it is just hearsay, especially when it comes to the ahadith! Little do they know our religion is based upon the most accurate, in-depth, detailed, intellectually nurturing sciences, including something like an entire work written on the ruling when someone is praying while sitting alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen! Instead of considering it in a way to be exaggerating and claiming we do not know how to do the most mundane tasks but we would blindly follow like robots, you non-Muslims should rather consider this to be one of Islam's very wonders and what it means to submit to God, that we seek guidance in literally anything and everything and we wish not to be depended upon ourselves for the blink of an eye. No religion has a manual so sophisticated to follow like ours because we truly know what this life is all about and our scholars dedicated their lives to follow this cause. May Allah make us an ummah again which embraces and is proud of its heritage allahumma ameen!
Wallahi this video has motivated me more to carry on learning the lughah. Knowing Arabic unlocks the doors of knowledge so much.

Tabaarkallah! Really motivational! Most of these books are very voluminous. I don't think most "students" are capable of digesting what they contain. More like researchers! I think the term "student " was used little bit too loosely. Likewise, there are alot of other act of worship to do with ones wealth, these books add up to hundreds if not thousands. Prioritization is a part of beneficial knowledge.

We should give charity day and night but this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t give abundant charity to ourselves in the form of books
It's true, I only have certain books on certain subjects. Like tafaseer, do you really need many of them.
Tafsir Razi, Baidawi, al-Kashaaf, Nasafi/Jalalayn are enough. They cover all things and angles.
If you want to create a library with books in a specific field, then it doesn't matter. If you want to create a board library, then you have to be selective, Espeon with the limited space people have.
Allahuma barik so much benefit but one benefit that stood out for me is the book talking about psuedo students of knowledge by sheikh bakar Abu zaid. You have so many so called duaat who are very active online especially in the west who preach so much confusion and false&wrong concepts attributing to Islam while they're ignorant of the basics of the religion. A fan of Daniel haqiqatu replied on Twitter defending and praising him that Daniel is a serious student of knowledge and I was like wow,another fan said Daniel is a salafi. For those who don't know Daniel,he preaches hate towards Muslim rulers and Muslim governments especially the keepers of the holy cities of makah and madinah.

But the fact that this text is regarded as weak and odd does not mean that it is not prescribed to recite dhikr when entering the marketplace, because it is a place of heedlessness and distraction from remembrance of Allah, so reciting dhikr in that place is an act of great virtue, which may prompt the heedless to follow the example of the one who is reciting dhikr so that they too will remember Allah. And Allah is the source of strength.

Bashaar awad verifications are not bad but he is weak in Hadeeth.
It is not enough to just read books, you must use your brain also. If celebration of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is left out, I would doubt that the author and the book is of Islam, period.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a book your not gonna study or planning to study.
I disagree, by having many books you can refer to it later on. As well as you can allow people to borrow your books and also benefit.
