Traxxas Sledge GPM Chassis Kit Install !

Subscribe for Everything RC! The Traxxas Sledge took a beating in the hurricane Hillary video....bent and dented the chassis right at the motor mount! GPM to the rescue with a fully machined, thicker chassis that comes with a reverse motor mount setup and a billet machined servo mount, carbon fiber battery trays and straps!

I also just did this I also got gpm chassis braces and gpm shock towers boy she heavy now very nice parts

I also had a hard time getting Bolth got some of eBay and some I ordered from gpm took about 3 weeks to get them I just got my M2C esc mount worked perfectly

It’s a Arrma rx box. GPM has the part# on their website with the kit.

Do you have to mount the motor in reverse with this? What’s the benefit of the reverse mount? Or can you reuse the stock traxxas motor mount? GPM looks like the best chassis upgrade! Nice!

Not sure if you could use the stock motor mount. This kit comes with the reverse motor mount, allows you to run a lot of larger and different motor combinations, makes setting your gear mesh a lot more simple

Hey im doing pretty much the same build about 85% all GPM parts. What receiver box did you use?

It’s an arrma receiver box. GPMs website lists the part number needed.

Have you had any problems with your chassis ? I just ordered one and hoping i didnt make a mistake , everyone seems to be ususing vitavon or m2c

I’ve had no problems. Thick and good quality from my experience so far.

Mines great . I wish I would have got the reverse motor mount with the piece that guards the spur gear from tearing up the Battery, I have the GPM battery mount\servo mount like you do so there's nothing stopping the batterys from contacting the spur gear, I may put the stock battery tray back in until I get the reverse motor mount

What cooling shroud are you using for the motor?
