I love exploring old junkyards, and this was a fun tour...thanks for posting! I especially like how you carefully shut the doors on the ones you check out inside. Even in a junkyard, these old cars and trucks still deserve respect.
Great that there are guys like this that preserve ALL the old cars. While the majority of my collection are 68-72 muscle cars I also own stuff as old as 1933 and several 50's and early 60's full size cars. Too many were scavenged for their parts and then crushed, especially 4 doors and wagons.
At the 9:00 mark there's what I believe is a 1976 Dodge Monaco station wagon, that thing will tote nine ppl AND their gear, I would venture to say its the largest wagon ever built .. simply cavernous interior and she's prolly got a 440. sooO cool!
My Grandfather had a 1941 Pontiac and he brought my mother , my mom's sister home from the hospital and he married my grandmother while he owned the car. Nice car wonder what year it is.
I just kind of move the camera with here I'm looking and I understand I look at things a little fast haha. I slowed down some for this video, I'll try more next time!
Oh man this is awesome. If there is ever a chance you and the old man ever make it up to Alberta I'll take you on a tour of a private yard that dwarfs this place lol. Tons of Mopars and more Studebakers than you can shake a stick at. The one car he has that I've been trying to get my hands on for years is a 2 door 77 Monaco with a slant 6 under the hood. 0-60 eventually lol.
@@LambvinskisGarage me neither lol, my buddies and I were quite shocked when we popped the hood. I may have a picture of it somewhere, if I can find it I'll find a way to send it to you.
I dont know how I have missed your videos but a big thankyou for sharing this video. A few years ago i got the opportunity to tour a yard similar to this and was completely blown away. I love looking at the old stuff. I would love to work in a shop just bringing them back to life. My hats off to you for what you do. I am in McClusky ND. Would love to chat sometime.
Very nice video. At the 3:01 mark, there are two 1966 Ford Galaxies which I am interested in. If you ever revisit this yard, could you please, with the owner's permission of course, snap photos of the driver's door dataplates for these cars. I manage the 1966 Ford Full-Size Registry and would like to add the codes to my database of over 8,000 vehicles. Thank you
I'm glad I found this channel happy to subscribe and let my buds know about it.. What's the deal with this playland are they open to the public website anything like that?
The motor noise from whatever you’re driving, and the annoying music made this very hard to watch. Had to stop after 12 minutes… Rule of thumb: The only videos that need music are MUSIC VIDEOS!!!! The yard was cool though..
Was run by a very knowledgeable person that could actually tell You exactly where in the Yard the items that were looking for and all that without an electronic device it was awesome ! 🇺🇲🇵🇷🦊👍
Sometimes they're for sale, sometimes they aren't, it would be a gamble I'd say. Thankfully it's not the only place I go for cars and such when I'm out there.
I like the 63 Chevy sitting on top of the truck that you were looking at for the rear end. Blue is a Biscayne I think I might have been Bel-Air. I like it because it was a post and it was not an Impala something different. Any idea how much you would want for this car? Look up at my TH-cam handle and I live up to that name it's what I do. I'd be interested in for myself if the driver side looked about as nice as the passenger side. I can understand why he would not want his location. I am the same way I have enough trouble with midnight shoppers. Serious inquiry.
Just a bit of advice, when you are chatting with an old timer that has hoarded up whatever he fancy's and obviosuly doesn;t part with things much(even parts, these cars are complete) saying things like "you don't see that very often" and "this was a fancy pants model" aren;t going to help you convince him to let go of it.
Depends on the person and depends on the day really, sometimes they sell things sometimes they don't. The biggest key is don't insult them with lowball offers. If they don't want to sell, don't push it and ask again at another time 🤷♂️
Hey could you buy whole cars from this yard? I seen a brown 74 to 76 Buick full-size 4 door I’d pay good money for it and any other full-size 74 to 76 gm cars you can buy. I can wire you the money just shoot me a price for all u can find I’ll make it worth ur time and trouble of getting them.
Some days he'll sell, some days he won't, I won't be back to this yard until the spring though, and it's 1300 miles from me or I'd try to help you out!
Dang man ! He doesn't want to sell that killer 66 (?) Loaded Dodge truck, but you know it's just going to sit there. That's a great truck. What a shame

There are some amazing projects there! Lots more 2-door cars than the average collection!
I very much agree! Lots of good cars out there!
See some early Dodge pickup. Like them with the RAM Royale SE molding and 2 tone color
That 59 Chrysler at 7:24. Just like my first car except mine was gold with a white top.

Good video I know this video it's one year old but I like to ask about the 86 white Chev Caprice still for sale
@ 8.21... is that a Chrysler 300, 2dr coupe ?, likely with the 383//440 big block. All intact too.

Give him a big bucket of KFC fried chicken and super size Mcdonalds meals, add a few $$.
There used to be a good one in Beulah, ND
Seems to me must be lot of fun and satisfaction to restore a car and then drive it.
Is the Mercury Monterey for sale?
Muitos automóveis estão inteiros,e perfeitos.
Looking for some trim for a 59 Cadillac coupe
Not a particularly big yard, but 2 59 Chryslers there. Don't see the 59's too often even in huge yards.
There was more forward look cars than I had seen before too, if I would have went deeper in the rows, there's at least a couple more.
Would love some parts off the red mercury comet
I would love to have the Cutlass beside the Nash for my mom's 80th birthday but I am willing to bet that he wouldn't part with it.
What's with the x on cars? Sold!!????

I tried to drown out the engine noise with the music, I put it fairly low so it wasn't too overbearing, unfortunately there wasn't much I could do.
Agreed, totally ditch the music
Just mute it . Look at all that wonderful iron that's what its about anyway........mm
the car back of the fastback pontiac is a 1951 or 52 hudson.larry

@donaldcary7259 because I wasn't as good at editing as I am now, and the noise of the gator that we were on is even worse lol.
