I love the Toronado's as well. I'm 67 yrs old ....had a really nice one (1967) back in 1072- 1974 when I was in high school....Always looking for them!
My goodness what a place. Thank you.
😍I see a few Treasures!!!!👍
Thank you for sharing!
Wall Drug Store is a famous tourist trap in Wall South Dakota a few miles east of Rapid City. It has been around since the thirties. The reason those Studebaker beds look so much like a Dodge is because Studebaker was no longer producing their own beds. They were buying them from Dodge.
Correct! I believe they bought the tooling and pretty much just used called it good!
Yup, they used the same box on the Champ pickup because they were so broke that they couldn't develop one that matched. I think '64 was the last year for pickups and '66 ended car production.@@LambvinskisGarage
THANKS FOR THE GREAT TOUR!
It's a shame that people can't close doors, hoods, and trunks to keep the stuff good and keep the stuff good and out of the weather.
In 1977 , my dad loaded the family , 7 in all , into our ford station wagon for a cross country vacation...
As we went thru our small town on our way , my dad stopped at the chevy dealer ...
He told us to take the luggage & everything outta the wagon...
We did ..3 boys , two girls .
Then a brand new 1977 chev suburban rolled up , and my folks told us to load up ...
So, 3 boys & 2 girls did just that..
My dad & I were "car guys" , although I was just 10 , he had me set up front .
He then sets in telling me all the options this puppy had ..
She had a 454 , 4 barrel & 4 wheel drive .
It also had rear air & power everything.
Then we drove back to our house ...
Confused , we kept asking , why we going back home ??
Well , we had a beautiful rv that had sit since my dad sold our 72 chev suburban .
The ford wagon just wasnt rated to pull the beast..
My dad & I hooked onto er' & off we went...
Beat vacay I can remember .
We went to S Dakota & camped in the Badlands . (Thats in Wall S.D. where Wall Drug began it claim to fame).
Then we went to the Black Hills, Big Horn Mtns, and to Custers last Stand.
From there we went to Yellowstone .
(My favorite stop)
Camped for a week , then headed to Cali ...Saw the Redwood forest & then Yosemite .
Then we headed to the Grand Canyon ..
A must see , btw..
Stopped in Scottsdale Az for a wk & visited aunts/uncles/cousins ..
Then we headed back to Tennesee ..
The trip became a bit boring & we all hated to see this trip end ..
As we traveled I-10 , I noticed we did not head north as we usually did but further east ..
I asked my dad & he said , dont tell the others , but we're going to the beach for a wk...
And we did...
Spent 6 days in the Keys ...
All told we were on the road for four wks ...
We changed oil in the suburban several times & it was a whirlwind of adventure...
Wow! That is awesome!! Great story and great memories right there!
Too Cool ! That's Living
Awesome man you were blessed by God with a great Dad 😊
Excellent Video Great yard
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
@@LambvinskisGarage I have to get my self to a Yard like that soon
thank you nice video of neat stuff
I'm glad you liked it!
Hello, i only saw one 1959 Chevrolet, a gold 4 dr one by your 59 buick you liked. is that car for sale? and are there any other chevys? thanks@@LambvinskisGarage
Cool walk ,thanks!
Glad you enjoyed!
Nice video, Nash Metropolitan 14:03 and Citroen DS 57:00 and the Continental (MK II ?) sticking out.
I love this place! I've bought parts for my 76 Gran Torino and my foxbody Mustang.
I'm surprised you got any Ford parts from the guy! Haha!
@@LambvinskisGarage he knows his Fords...collector of many cool 60-70 Ford muscle cars.
In MT getting ticks on yourself is very low. It is dry and deer do not hang out in the salvage yard.
Just watch out for the rattle snakes. Once in a blue Moon you might find one. Not all rattlers, rattle all the time.
What I am trying to say. Just get on with and have fun, You will be fine. It is MT.😁
Yup! Never had a tick problem in Montana! But North Dakota... lol.
@@LambvinskisGarage I did not know this about ND. Thank you for the info. 👍
Way cool stuff there now!!! Thanks Wagon Guy! Lol. I'll take d50
get that 57 mercury hardtop wagon
Massive place!
Seems like rust wasnt a too big issue in that area.
These 1960 Imperials have some kinda worth to em, that one with the Aim-headlight was a Imperial too, geuess a 55, too bad they were mostly picked on so heavy already.
The europeam section wasnt too bad too, Opel Manta, Aircooled VW
Tons of stuff From the Era was designed with military equipment and trinkets in mind because they were all coming back home and starting families and were buying like mad.
Nice pickup that you picked up!
For sure! Thank you!
Very cool wrecking yard. Judging by all the parted cars, it looks like they do sell parts, or did - perhaps they can't find good parts pullers who bother to show up for work, so pulling them is a hassle - a common complaint these days.
They will sell parts, but would people come get them in person so they don't have to ship and they can look for them themselves. But at the moment they need to focus on selling cars to make more room.
All the great wagons. And. Everything else. Treasure. Drove. I’m. Canadian. East. Metal. Doesn’t. Last. Here. Thanks
Man I want that early shortbed box your Pop bought ! 👌
It's a good one!
Man your lucky must feel like heaven being there
I'm old enough to remember in California bay area they used to stack car's 5 car's high so you really had to be careful when going in the wrecking yard. They used to make you sign a waiver that there not responsible if you get hurt in the wrecking yard.
Love the video but, I’d like to see more of the older, older trucks. So far you breezed right by them.
Those four old dodge station wagons were cool and the yellow wrecker, the orange ramcharger over from where your father cut the bed parts off, also all the early 70s charger doors with no bodies? maybe all the special vehicles and parts will get rescued, thanks for this video!
I need a few of those Dodge letters too just a couple I've got most
There is a Clark Griswold wagon back there!
I've got a 68 camper special all original I could use them chrome pieces and some dash parts. I'm in North Carolina
This place is a ton to take in.
At 49:42; I had a concept of a A100 van that is lowered, widened, headlights removed, front end (ahead of doors, but not roof) and body (between wheels) extended, body(?) roof chopped, modified Toronado grill (hidden headlights) added, custom roof added with Celica popup headlights installed and other details to create a custom limo. ;-)
That is a cool town wagon at 13:48
To save engineering costs. Studebaker bought pickup beds from dodge. They only had to respace mounting points on the chassis
Correct! They also made their own tailgate but saved money by not having to engineer a bed!
That's a great yard. And I won't say the location either
Kinda wish you had hung around the 50s Caddy row, looking for decent L and R front fenders for a 54 Series 62 Sedan, and has to be 54 specific as it was a one year with parking lights in the grill and not the fenders, 55 and up won't fit
Saw a '53 Ford back there!
I would like to get in touch with you or the yard itself to maybe pick up some rare parts I saw. Is that possible?
Big sky country in Montana!
Saw a 73 Ford pinto and a 67 Lincoln Continental!
The people have a little bit of everything you can think of.
Watched your video of the Montana junk yard and I'm looking for a 1951 desoto steering wheel if you would please find out if they have one I would appreciate it thank you
Saw a '67 Bonneville!
That white over red 1974 Jeep Cherokee
How do I find out about the 1963 and'64 Plymouths on the Montana, August 12th, 2023 wrecking yard tour? Are they for sale?
Very cool tour. Lot's to see. But i didn't see the grasshoppers. That said I'm interested in the Ford Custom 500 that appears at the 56 minute and a few seconds mark of your video. Best way to reach you?
They were hard to see on camera, but I saw TONS of them! Haha you can email me at lambvinskisgarage@gmail.com, or send me a message on Facebook or Instagram!
I'm definitely not a Chevy guy, but am a Ford fan, and dodge to some degree!
Chevy had the best body styles from the late fifties into the early seventies.
I saw mater in there too!
That narrows the location down to Radiator Springs, Arizona.
I need wood grin trim for my 1968 plymouth sports suburban station wagon. 38.43.
I would like the jeep pickup
Where is this badass place at? I need to go there! I saw alot of cars Iam interested in!
It's like walking through a museum of old car's that tell some sort of story
Where in Montana are you ? would love to swing in there when i go see my daughter in Montana....
I seen about 9 that's up my for me
i am interested in the yellow car @1:35 mark. i believe its a torino.
.... More specifically at 56.13 the Ford Custom 4 door
The reason Studebaker pickup trucks in the 60"s looked like they had dodge beds was because they did use dodge beds on the Lark based trucks.
Correct!!
Do they have 1930s Cadillac’s still together?
I would grab the red panal
Did they have any mercury custom?
Hey did u see any 70's crewcab ford ????
Looking for front fenders for 1953 ford customline
I need a Town location,if possible,I will drive all the way from South Texas for parts for my '48 Plymouth Specialdelux, and possibly Trailer back a '68,'69, Pontiac Lemans/C-Sport/G,T,O,Judge/,orG,T,O,😜👍,if you can help me,🙂👍🙏,Thank you,and Keep up the Awesome work...
Kinda depressing to see all the cars and trucks I grew up with (and loved) huddled together and returning to the soil from which they came.
It doesn't have to be that way. Now's the time to step up to the plate and rescue one of them, before it's too late.
Nice, I'm lookn for the 58 EDSEL Citation 4 door hard top, need parts you've discovered an awesome find, what or what city is this salvage yard at?? 😁👍
Send me a message or an email and I'll gladly tell you!
@@LambvinskisGarageany Second Gen Firebirds and Trans Am's?
@@boomyashockya7166 not that I saw, unfortunately. I didn't see any 3rd gens either.
Have u ever been to the Mopar wreaking yard in Oregon
Not yet! I'd like to. I just haven't been around at the right time.
hello! i emailed you about more content info. Unfortunately it said it did not go through to you. I am making a trip out to montana this month, and i would love to get in contact with them.
Where is this place, Ive seen a lot of things Id like to find out about?
What is the price on the chevy suburban at 56.54
I really wanted to watch all these wonderful treasures but after just 5 minutes your camera work had me totally dizzy.
"Don't tell nobody"...because we really don't want to sell anything.
They'll sell stuff, but they're a small operation and don't need to be bothered with a bunch of people calling at all hours, if someone is truly interested, they'll get ahold of me and I'll send them their way.
There are a couple that I wanted to see but I am most interested in the 58 59 chevy pickup olive green around the 43:40 mark. Message me their info please. I would love to check out other things there too. Thanks
I’m looking for parts for a 38 gmc one ton
Did you see any Chevy impalas 65s
Did you happen to see any AMC cars
How much is the blue and white ford it 59:15
Im about 99.99999999999 percent for sure i know exactally where you are
It's a good possibility!

I need a 91 f150 body and frame I have the rest
Saw a few cars my husband I would love to rescue! Can you send me a location?
What's a "Rand Lover"? 😂
That Silver Land Rover 🤣🤣 thats just what I call them lol
Is there a ...1975..88 Delta Oldsmobile tail light.?
There might me! You never know!
It takes about 10 seconds on google maps to find this place. 😊
Only if you know where to look!
Find me a 66 Biscayne 2 door sedan
You're not looking at what you're seeing 😂😮😅what about the engine in the milk truck the old fellow told you about he might have been telling you to look at that instead of the truck
Are there any Camaros
Yo hit me up with the info " im wanting to pick up a few things at that place"
Hi
.I like to Know The Price for the Green Chevy Suburban, 1964-66 Can you find out please..
I asked about it and it's not for sale unfortunately :(
Ah, sounds like this is one of those places that's running out of room because they don't want to get rid of anything. Everything ends up sitting and rusting until it reaches a level of deterioration that makes it unsalvageable.
How can I get in touch with you ? I’d like you go there and look for a project.
V/R

Did You spot any Mopar F bodies ?
Man, maybe 1? They're not on my radar so I couldn't tell you exactly.

Can I get an email for contact trying to restore a 54 3100
Hi there,
I am contacting you from The US Sun.
We'd like to feature this video on our online platform. Can you confirm that you shot this video? And will you irrevocably grant The US Sun non-exclusive permission for unlimited use by all partners, platforms, and media, worldwide, in perpetuity?
Thanks!
No fords huh? So that really is a junkyard…
Good Video - can I get a contact Number or Email address please for the yard - was a car in the background that I would like to find out about please - Thanks Matt
Any😢1955buickts?
Lot of it needs crushed
"Promo sm" 😠
Stay away from Montana.. They want nobody there...
Do they have any early 70s Toyota celicas? Like 71 thru 74?
How do I contact you via email as you were talking about ??? I want to do this respectively & correctly as in contacting you . What is your E-mail address so I can contact you Please ? Thank you , ZAK .
Why wouldn't the junk yard owner want to be on the phone all day selling parts? Aren't they in the business to sell and make money? My father's good friends were happy to make a steady income selling parts and pieces of the cars and trucks they had in their yard. Why are they not glad to get free advertising through your videos? Why do we have to contact you and go through a middle man? Are you getting a slice of the purchase price acting as a broker?
I'm not getting a slice from them, this is just what they asked, they're a small team and very busy. They'll happily sell parts if you want to come get them, they just don't have the man power to be slinging parts all the time that they may or may not have, and I totally understand. They need the room and need to sell cars more than they parts.
@LambvinskisGarage Thanks for clearing the questions I had. So in order to purchase a whole vehicle, what's the name and phone number of this operation? I'd be interested in taking a road trip to personally see the inventory.
@rickprusak9326 send me a message or shoot me an email at lambvinskisgarage@gmail.com and I will gladly give you all the information you need!
Good video but they Need to crush. A lot of it.
