Yes. And without all of the bias. Most review channels say if it doesn’t drive like a sports car, it’s not worth your money. If it’s quiet and reliable, then it’s probably great.
This is such a great review. Your voice is calming, you’re very humble, and get the point across. I truly enjoyed your review, and I’m definitely going to subscribe!
Thanks for the love Anakin! And the sub! But don't hesitate to also post criticism. I genuinely want to get better at this TH-cam-Review-Thing. So don't hesitate to share your thoughts on how I can improve. Cheers! 👍
Imma buy this car, I fell in love with it when I saw it on the store. And even more in love after watching this video! Can't wait to go to work next year and have enough money to buy a use Malibu here I come Utah 😍
I have been looking for my first car to buy. I think this might be it, especially because its so spacious and easy to use. I don't really like cars that take a while to figure out.
I’m on my second Malibu my first I got from a auction cheap price but really didn’t have money to maintain it. Now I have a 2012 Ls for now about 5 months runs great and great with gas and rides smooth! Oh very spacious.
We jsut bought this used...but im not able to get the roof open more than the slight crack in thenmiddle? What am i not doing right? Is it the same button? Is there another button im not seeing?
I just bought an 2018 Malibu LT today and I love it and suprisingly it has android auto and Apple CarPlay so I’m guessing the previous owner opted for it but I still love it regardless, has enough power for me🥰
LOL I saw the Lockport water tower and was like "HES ON 355!!" I live right in lockport and get off exit 4 everyday. Loved the video man! Very helpful!
I do like the Mazda 6...at least how it looks. I've been trying for 3 months to rent one, but there's only a handful at Enterprise and they're difficult to get. Hopefully soon!
Yes I definitely would get this car this is my final choice I would choose this car for my first car a couple of my co workers got this but theirs are 2016 and or 2015 and they love it I would get the 2018 Chevy Malibu
Has anyone ever said anything to you about not having a front license plate?! I've heard as long as you have the back one and your tags you're fine. Every car I've had up until I got the 2018 Malibu had a front plate
I enjoy your reviews and hope you keep it going. I liked your old rating system better. Maybe you could do the stars and the yes or no rating together. Keep up the great work.
You like the stars? Hmmm, okay, I can switch back. I stopped doing that because I found myself giving most cars 4 or 5 stars. Plus, on the rare occasions I gave something a 3 star rating, I got some nasty comments in response. But maybe I can do it better now. I'm currently editing a review of the 2018 Ford Edge. I'll put the stars back in a see how it goes.
When it comes to the gas tank not having the gas cap I like it a lot I have it on my car and a funny story to go with that about 2 years before I got my car I young woman had just bought a pretty new car and went to get gas and when she went to fill up and saw no gas cap there she kinda freaked out I just happened to pull up to get gas in my truck I had at the time she saw me and asked if i has any idea why there was no gas cap she said she never had this new of a car so I remember that ford had talked about it a few years earlier they where going to do this to there cars i was able to explain to her about it she seemed to calm down now that she knew about it and thanked me and left!
Ha! I guess I can understand her confusion/panic. You never want to break a new car but doing something dumb with it the first week. Still...you'd think a moderately intelligent adult could figure it out within a minute or two. Right? I mean, it's not rocket science.
I seem to have a consistent problem finding comfort for my back while driving with modern cars unless it has no lumbar option OR the lumber can be adjusted up & down vertically. The car I have now has a horizontal steel bar that digs into my lower back when I sit up straight. I gotta find some kinda pad for it because I’m stuck for another 2 years in the lease.
Aww yes, you must be pushing 40 like me. I love lumbar support, especially on expensive cars that have vertical and horizontal adjustments. Someone also mentioned that Buick's have a message option? I think it was Buick. Anyway, that sounds a bit dangerous - because I'd probably fall asleep - but it could be fun to try!
Chevy Malibu and chevy Impala .. i like both a lot the exterior styling is outstanding. specially on high Trims .. only one question and i hope honest current owners help me .. i hear a lot of electrical and electronic problems with GM products !! is that True how much does it cost to maintain these chevys ? I appreciate your reply .. and thank you very much for the review..
Yeah, I think I forgot to mention that in my review. Sorry about that. And I can't imagine driving a Malibu without the moonroof. It makes the car feel soooo much nicer.
8th Gen. of the Malibu ...Hmmmm I have a "17 Chevy Malibu LS FWD !! this is my first fwd car .ive always had a all wheel drive car .so its not too bad ! my car has rear view drive also . no sun roof though..thats ok !
This is really "a car" it has all quality look design power technology not like some ones who don't know anything just copy i mean sonata optima altima ....
What would you get for a full-size rental? Due to my age they can only give me a full size while my car is in the shop. The cars they carry the most is malibu charger and altima I think. I tried to get a Mazda 6 and Accord with no luck.
A full-size? Probably an Impala or an Optima. I've actually never gotten a Honda or a Mazda. Those are hard to come by. I'm fact, several people have commented that none of the major rental companies offer Hondas.
Thanks for your replies. How you rate your reviews is ok with me. Yes or no or stars are fine. I don’t want to tell you how to do your reviews! Either way is ok with me. 👍😁. Have a great day!
nothing about ride quality over rough roads? the impala i drove [with base wheels but low-profile tires] was harsh over broken pavement, was hoping the malibu was softer.
I own a fully loaded 2017 Malibu premier and the car handles great especially in turns. Another great feature is the adaptive cruise control I mean this feature works fantastic, when traffic in front of you slows down the car automatically slows itself down then when traffic speeds back up the car will adjust accordingly. I highly recommend getting the 2.0 turbo.
After number 100? I'm going to keep going. I can't imagine stopping now, it's too much fun. But, do you think I should change the name of the channel? 200 rental cars? 500 rental cars? 1,000 rental cars?
You bet! I saw a few on the Enterprise lot last week, so it shouldn't be a problem. Give me a few weeks and it should be posted. Anything in particular you want me to focus on?
Will do! And just so you know, my first ever review was of the 2016 Mustang convertible. It's not very good, but if you want to check it out, here's the link: th-cam.com/video/SKUCuiOO2o0/w-d-xo.html
I really dislike my local enterprise they have good customer service but the issue comes when you reserve a vehicle on their website they say it’s available but when i go to pickup the vehicle they say sorry it’s not available and they will keep transferring you to a branch that has the vehicle that you reserved
GM made the wrong move to use CVTs, just to give consumers value cars but won’t last and a headed to some big problems as well as the use of small engine with a turbo!! This is just a money pit!
Good question! I'm definitely going to keep going. You think I should change the name of the channel? Should I call it 200 Rental Cars? 1,000 Rental Cars? Originally, the name was aspirational. I never thought I'd actually make it to 100 reviews. Now I feel like a need a BIGGER goal.
@100 Rental Cars I think you should change it to 200 Rental Cars I'm a 12 year old car geek and I love your minivan reviews the dodge grand caravan if you could do more that would be awesome thanks
I’m happy to get a Malibu review that isn’t just an enthusiast complaining about it being a rental car.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Yes. And without all of the bias. Most review channels say if it doesn’t drive like a sports car, it’s not worth your money. If it’s quiet and reliable, then it’s probably great.
Yes I agree!!!
I just bought this car today for my first car and I couldn’t agree more it’s a great car
Does the fronts seat have a lot of leg room ? I’ve been thinking about getting this car but I’m 6’5 with a lil weight on me so I’m tryna see lol
Cheers! 👍
Fall in love with this car!💞😍😍😍
Imma buy this car, I fell in love with it when I saw it on the store. And even more in love after watching this video! Can't wait to go to work next year and have enough money to buy a use Malibu here I come Utah 😍
Good luck October Girl!
I have been looking for my first car to buy. I think this might be it, especially because its so spacious and easy to use. I don't really like cars that take a while to figure out.
Humble, simple, and thorough review. Subscribed.
Thanks!
I’m on my second Malibu my first I got from a auction cheap price but really didn’t have money to maintain it. Now I have a 2012 Ls for now about 5 months runs great and great with gas and rides smooth! Oh very spacious.
I didn't notice the buttons on the roof! Now I have more exploring to do. Very good informative video.
I *love* the Malibu. What a great value.
Agreed!
Really good review!! I really like how you go in depth with everything
Thanks!
We jsut bought this used...but im not able to get the roof open more than the slight crack in thenmiddle? What am i not doing right? Is it the same button? Is there another button im not seeing?
You have to best car review, very detailed and organized with a gentle voice as a matter of fact you must have gone to school for this.
I found this car for 18,000 with 7k miles I think I'm going to purchase because of your review.
That’s a steal bro get it ! I can’t find one with miles like that
Thank you for you honest & simple review!
Ok so I’m 13 and getting my first car and this review is amazing thank you so much for this I’m looking forward to getting this car this summer
I recently bought the same car. I have really enjoyed it.
Congratulations!
Does your back up camera make any kind is noise when u back up ?
I have the same one 2018 Lt
I just bought an 2018 Malibu LT today and I love it and suprisingly it has android auto and Apple CarPlay so I’m guessing the previous owner opted for it but I still love it regardless, has enough power for me🥰
How’s it holding up I’m buying one with 110k
LOL I saw the Lockport water tower and was like "HES ON 355!!" I live right in lockport and get off exit 4 everyday. Loved the video man! Very helpful!
I miss my malibu it was such a great car felt like riding on a cloud
I think the Malibu is the best looking of all the mid size sedans, 2nd being the Mazda 6.
I do like the Mazda 6...at least how it looks. I've been trying for 3 months to rent one, but there's only a handful at Enterprise and they're difficult to get. Hopefully soon!
Would like to see a review of the Mazda 6 also
That’s crazy Idk if ima get a Mazda 6 or a Malibu🤦🏽♂️
I think the Toyota Camry is the best looking
Lol are you serious? Out of all the midsize sedans out there, a Malibu???
Enterprise has been ordering A lot of Malibu’s with the sunroof package and the convenient package lately.
Really? Interesting. How did you find out?
I hate those + & - buttons on top of the gearshift.
Love the Malibu LT i have a 2018 runs 👍🏼
Cool car, thanks for sharing! Nice to see ya relaxing in some casual wear hahaha. 👍
You noticed! I filmed this one early in the morning before a run. Usually I film during lunch or after work, but I just didn't have time.
Just bought one today and I love it!
Nice review, unlike most where if the car isn’t able to bake a pizza and have 400hp its “disappointing value”
Awesome car very beautiful and economical 1.5 turbo
Out of all the rental cars you've reviewed, which one would you buy for a reliable everyday driver that's under 30k?
I enjoy your reviews and hope you keep it going. I liked your old rating system better. Maybe you could do the stars and the yes or no rating together. Keep up the great work.
You like the stars? Hmmm, okay, I can switch back. I stopped doing that because I found myself giving most cars 4 or 5 stars. Nice car I still like the 4 cylinder good on gas
You are the best!!!
No my friend, YOU ARE! Thanks for helping to make the internet a kind and friendly place.
Chevrolet has come a long way. I'd so buy this car if I had the $$$$ but I'm in the process of saving up for a 1984 c20 chevy
My first baby getting it Friday!
That 13 gallon fuel capacitysounds incredibly small for a car this size
bigb252 makes filling up the tank seem cheaper haha
You're right, it does seem small. Then again, you'd still have a ~325 mile range (25 mpg x 13 gallons). That's not too bad.
I think they raise the capacity to 15.8 gallons for 2018
My malibu has a 15 gallon tank. I typically drive highway to and from work. Im getting 38 mpg so thats 570 miles.
Damn, 570 miles per fill up ain't bad. Well done!
Yyeesss very detailed about this vehicle. I'm definitely going to get it off the lot next week
Nice! I think you'll like it.
How is it still running
I knew that highway was familiar. Im a trucker I pass that weigh station everyday lol

These are decent cars, hope I have the chance to drive one very soon! :)
Agreed!
Does the screen display go up ? Like the other Chevy products?
I have this EXACT car. Had some issues, but it's all been worked out
I love my Malibu
What year do u have ? I have a 2018 when I back up my back up cameras doesn’t make any noise.
Mariah Lorriane mine does not either, just gotta watch it
Okay I was wondering does it supposed to do it or not. Thank you
What year model do u have ?
Mariah Lorriane I don’t think it is supposed to because I test drive multiple and none of them made noise. I have a 2017 Malibu
Thank you ❤️
Best mid size sedan 🔥🇺🇸

chocolatewheelchair hey there what kind of car you drive?
Jeremy Shearer Q50

Good information!
Seems to have very bright interior LED lighting

This has some packages on it, Appearance Package, Convenience and Technology Package & that Dual Pane Moonroof isn't standard on an LT.
Yeah, I think I forgot to mention that in my review. Sorry about that. And I can't imagine driving a Malibu without the moonroof. It makes the car feel soooo much nicer.
That “storage” behind the shifter is actually a wireless charger for your phone
it is?! that’s awesome
160 hp not bad for such a small car. Heck my old Chevy made that with a v6 lol. And it was slow and the engine was loud
8th Gen. of the Malibu ...Hmmmm I have a "17 Chevy Malibu LS FWD !! this is my first fwd car .ive always had a all wheel drive car .so its not too bad ! my car has rear view drive also . no sun roof though..thats ok !
You’re channel is one of my favs!!!
Thanks Parker!
I have behind the wheel training and those are the cars they provide...I'm really nervous cuz I drive a hatchback and never drove anything bigger
You'll do great! Besides, these are really fun to drive. I think you'll enjoy it!
One suggestion is discussing avg mpg
This is really "a car" it has all quality look design power technology not like some ones who don't know anything just copy i mean sonata optima altima ....
VVT engines are good. (Variable Valve Timing.) CVT’s (Continuously variable transmissions.)are no good.
Crap! You're right, I totally messed that up. Sorry about that. And thanks for pointing out my mistake. Seriously, it helps.
I was finna say cvt the one that nobody likes
I thought it was Steve Carell doing the car review.
Y u say that??
2018 Malibu I love it but do it come with a 3.6 I will love to have a Chevrolet Malibu with a 3.6 v6
Just bought the 2019 Malibu for $17500 with only 4,700 miles. Is that a steal?
LeTHal Vulture yup
I suppose vice-versa. Malibu 2 (2017

I will have this car
Nice!

You too! And thanks again. The feedback helps. Cheers!
@ 1:03 Unless you're recording this in the year 2027 it's not a good 30yrs since then more like 20 lol.
Came for the review but stayed for that bubble butt 🤪😂
What does L stand for on stick
The place that u can put your phone actually wireless charger. U can charge your phone there.

What's gonna happen after the 100th rental review lol?
After number 100? I'm going to keep going. I can't imagine stopping now, it's too much fun. But, do you think I should change the name of the channel? 200 rental cars? 500 rental cars? 1,000 rental cars?
100 Rental Cars you gotta keep on going haha maybe you'll need to change the name
Yes, 200 will motivate you to do another hundred.
Thanks Barry!
I love mine she a beauty
Can you review a Volkswagen Tiguan?
I'd love to. I usually rent from Enterprise and they don't have many VWs. But if I see one, I'll definitely rent it and post a review asap!
100 Rental Cars k thanks:)
Try to find a 2018 expedition and review that
You bet! I saw a few on the Enterprise lot last week, so it shouldn't be a problem. Give me a few weeks and it should be posted. Anything in particular you want me to focus on?
100 Rental Cars not really
Sick design just you can't even get the option to swap it. No v6 no v8. With the v6 you can at least sawp it and use CV axles
Can you imagine swapping out your hole firewall with the Impala ss
Please review a Mustang coupe or convertible.
Will do! And just so you know, my first ever review was of the 2016 Mustang convertible. It's not very good, but if you want to check it out, here's the link: th-cam.com/video/SKUCuiOO2o0/w-d-xo.html
100 Rental Cars which enterprise office do you prefer? The airport location or your local enterprise
I too rent with enterprise they are my favorite car rental company
I prefer the enterprise at the airport because it has a good selection and they always have cars available
It looks like the Malibu and the Lacrosse are close cousins
The LaCrosse is a better Malibu though
Nice
After 100 you should change it to hundreds
I like "hundreds", but I was also thinking of 200 Rental Cars or even 1,000 Rental Cars. But you think I should definitely change the name, right?
100 Rental Cars yes
I have Malibu 2018
Nice! Congratulations, it's a great car.
You forgot the phone holder also charges your phone and the key fob comes apart for an emergency key that fits below the charger under the radio area.
What happens after 100
Good question!
More minvan reviews? You got it!
You start buying parts out of your pockets/ purse...
