This looks like a wonderful way to preserve fresh ingredients, too! When I buy green onions/cilantro/limes especially, they tend to wilt before I can use them all. Definitely going to use this technique.

For us it's sofrito. We use sweet peppers, onion and oregano vs green onion, thyme and spice peppers. It varies from group to group and depending on what I'm cooking. Love the videos! Cooking WELL or even great is a form of showing love when you feed people.

@@cocob73nb Sure. For a nice size batch.
      3 green peppers, rough chop.
A handful of small sweet peppers
      3 med size white onions
      2-3 bunches of cilantro
      7-10 garlic cloves
Of you are able to get culantro I would a handful or so. It's more pungent than cilantro and takes the flavor to a new level.
      Wash thoroughly.
Put in blender. Sometimes I like my smooth. Other times I blend to get a salsa like consistency.
You can put in ice cube trays and freeze. Hope this helps.

Hello I love this recipe and I'm going to make this using your recipe. Please can you show how to use this in cooking eg, meat, fish, stews etc?
