The sound makes up 50% of any video. Wanting to improve mine, I purchased a Neumann TLM 103 (about) three years ago. Coupling it with an Apollo Twin Duo, I got the mic for my thirtieth birthday. Praised as one of the best, the TLM 103 is also one of the most expensive. I was okay with that as I planned to use it for all my content and (potentially) books. Nevertheless, I am selling it now. In this video, I share my experience to help you make the right choice when searching for a mic for voiceovers and content. My experience with the TLM103: if you make a shootout with other microphones it seems that it sounds great because it has such a "hi-fi" quality to it. But once you start mixing it has way too much high end. I think a dynamic mic sounds way darker, but I find adding some highs to a dynamic mic (SM7B e.g.) easier than taming the brightness of the TLM103.
Hey! Thanks for this thorough comment. I totally agree with you, and mention that partially in the video regarding the 103. It's too bright. As far as the SM7B, I might get one in the future, but based on tons of research, the Procaster is flatter (which I prefer) and superior for eliminating ambient noise and echo. Where the SM7B shines is in not picking up any plosives, and pops. The 103 is also not great at that. But nonetheless, I use two pop-filters, and that kinda does it. I have Rode's own WS2 on top of a smaller one by Shure. It the future I might get the one for the Re20 by EV. Some people say that's the best one actually. Otherwise, TLM 103 is unmatched, when it comes to detail and richness,
Hey thanks for commenting! The mic is awesome. It delivers something very particular which is for a very specific kind of user and situation. If that’s not you, then better save your money.

Great review. But... I think your main issue is pop. You just need a pop-shield to stop that..
Thanks for commenting. I used Rode's pop filter. It works great for removing pops and plosives. The echo is the main issue.
You might want to try the LS-208
I might in the future. But for now I am good with the Procaster. Thanks for commenting
