      BJ Upton for the medium round for me was super easy as well, saw the many years in Tampa and then the really shit stint in Toronto at the end of his career and knew it was him

      Marte was the only guess that came to my head straight away. Cycled through Altuve and JRam before Turner and Merrifield. Marte is a sneaky guy for hall of fame if he plays another 5 seasons on his 2021 level

      @@baileysmith4744 "Hall of Famer???" He's only been an All-Star *twice,* and he 34 so I'm not exactly sure why we're expecting him to match his career-high steals (especially when he only had 18 last season).
      There's also not a whole lot of precedent for sub-.300 hitters with below-average power making it into Cooperstown.
      I mean, it's happened a few times with players who have really gone above and beyond in differentiating themselves in some other way (multi-positional, clubhouse, etc.), but it just doesn't seem like Marte is "dat dude."
      I'd bet heavily against it happening.

      Is there many guys who had any significant career with a sub-.200 average in the bigs (not counting pitchers)? I have to imagine most of those players would have either been a bench player, had very short careers, or were up and down in the minors

    THANK YOU for finally showing their reactions to hearing the right answer! That's all it needed to be perfect. I even imagine once a contestant gives up, Jolly could even give them the first name and see if it clicks instantly or something. Anyways, love the show.

    Damn good one Jolly. Thought I'd crush this one. Coco came to mind pretty quickly, Upton took WAY too long considering I'm a Yankee fan who's peak watching was that time, didn't get EY and I should have, by the time I was old enough to consistently watch he wasn't playing a ton of games or not on teams I watched enough of. But really good player should have gotten him. Look at those strikeout numbers, career high 54. Dude made contact. Always feel like I'm disrespecting the guys who I can't guess easy or at all😂

      BJ was easy to me, I remember his time in Atlanta and San Diego because it overlapped with his brother and I saw the years in Tampa and the awful half year in Toronto

    I think a good category for this would be trying to guess Hall of Famers, but without seeing what teams they played for...just black out that entire column...so, someone would have to guess based on what year they won awards, how many HR's they hit or bases they stole, etc...

    I have such a soft spot for utility players with speed--your Tony Womack's, your Mark McLemore's, etc--so I recognized Eric Young fairly quickly. But that was a good choice for hard.
    On that note, why not do a Refguess for players who fielded every position except maybe pitcher and catcher during their career?

My sheet ranges back to 2016 and is only missing 2-3% of all batters there have been so far

      Hard got me because I was born in 2000 and his career was wrapping up as I became old enough to understand baseball. Easy was a quick one for me & medium I got after briefly confusing the answer for another mid-2000s prospect-turned-journeyman.

    Im sorry bro, but Jeff Kent was a terrible guess for the hard option. I didnt even know the answer, but Kent was not a good guess. Kent is the all time homers leader amoung 2nd basemen. Won an MVP. Never played for Colorado. Didnt steal bases.
    Also, Tony kemp was a weird name too. Dude has 39 career steals.
