Those Rangers teams had a ton of okay to pretty good young starters, so that was a tough one. I guessed Derek Holland didn't feel at all bad about getting it wrong.
2013 Cubs to Orioles should be a fun get: Guy was traded to Baltimore for Jake Arrieta
Being a Cubs fan got me hard. I saw 2013 CHC > 2013 BAL and thought "Oh, this is one of the guys the Cubs traded for Arrieta.... Scott... something? Feldman!"

As a lifelong Rangers fan, I can honestly say that Feldman getting let go in 2012 made me so happy. Every time he started for us those last few years you just knew the other team was scoring all the runs that day.
Same with the Astros! Funny thing is he started opening day in his last year. Signed with the Reds to pitch out of the bullpen but Homer Bailey got injured just before the season started so Feldman made the start instead.
As an Angels fan, I sorely miss the facing Feldman days.
I always confuse Martin Maldonado with Robinson chirinos so that final round ended me 😂

Good ol' Scottie Feldman. Got my Cubs Arrieta and Strop from Baltimore. I knew it immediately.
For reasons I can't explain we always called him six shooter scooter.
That's what I was looking for, I was like who tf did we fleece the O's with for Arrieta and Strop? Could not remember Scotty.
Hats off to Jack on this one! Adding Feltman was a very gettable choice, but also ULTRA HARD! And he was drafted by both Texas teams, IDK but I don't think that happens too often!
I'm usually pretty good with pitchers in these ref guesses but with no distinguishing numbers or awards to his name Scott Feldman was NEVER on my radar. Kudos to Jolly for making this episode a butcher's shop

The ONLY reasons I got Feldman is because he was our (Texas's) opening day starter in 2010, and because in 2017 I went to a Rockies game against the Reds. My most vivid memory from that game was seeing Jon Gray (current Rangers pitcher) hit a homer off of none other than Scott Feldman :)

Rangers fan here. Took way too much time for the first one, Hunter Pence, but I got it. Completly forgot about Carlos Gomez, but that is what you do, if he played on your team (besides the Brewers), and third guess for me was Tommy Hunter even though I knew he played for other teams. Yup, Feldman was one of this pitchers that was typical for the Rangers roster during those years, White-bread American, straight-laced, no tats, quiet, bearded (butt not Napoli bearded). Ugh. I think I just want to forget the "best" Rangers years. I feel it's happening again this year.
This was a good batch, especially considering none are active but all are recent. Easy was easy, medium was actually one of the more difficult mediums i've seen. Dude played on a lot of forgettable teams. Hard was hard, but I had a teammate of the same name growing up so always remembered him.
Question for the bonus round: Would Jake Odorizzi count?

As a Rangers fan this was a pretty easy round for me. I'll always remember Scott Feldman for him being placed in the difficult situation in Game 6 of the 2011 World Series having to face runners on second and third with one out in the 10th and allowing the game-tying single to Lance Berkman. Of course as soon as Ron Washington took him out for Mark Lowe in the 11th I knew the game was over. Congrats to Dalton on getting him.

@@danielkitchens16 I’d rather them go after cease who has more team control than Bieber. Either that or wait for free agency this off-season. If they make a trade for an ace they’d have to part ways with at least one of either Marte, Arroyo, Collier, or CES, so I’d prefer they get a guy with more time before free agency. I also wouldn’t be opposed from them poaching someone from the marlins since they have so much young rotation depth, and those guys probably wouldn’t cost as much as a Cease or Bieber.

Scott Feldman is an interesting dude. He got traded to the Blue Jays while they were in Houston just before the game. So the players just kinda walked across the field. He then pitched that night in relief in the 14th inning and lost it for the Blue Jays. He was also an opening day starter for the Reds. And Hawaiian.
I probably only got all of these since I’m an Astros fan. This was probably one of the harder ref guess rounds you’ve had. Would still be cool to see an old time ref guess.
