Hard today is probably the highest rWAR player from the last 30 years I have never heard of in my life. Dude had 28.8 rWAR and if you told me his name I'd have said you made him up. What a career for him
I would've never gotten him. I only heard his name before because he was on the Mets' "Greatest Infield Ever" of Alfonzo, Olerud, Ordonez, and Ventura.
He was pretty great. Just a good all-around player. Good bat, good glove, really important to those Mets teams. I couldn't remember his name, though, just his mustache.

What about a theme around players who have become announcers, broadcasters, or hosts, like Mark DeRosa or Keith Hernandez (though Keith would likely be way too easy). I think that would be a pretty interesting theme, particularly with the wildly different "quality" between the players that followed that path after their playing careers.

For Sanchez, starting with 2013, his four following seasons had an increasing ERA. I never heard anyone mention it, which is surprising how baseball has stats where people tend to notice oddities.
