Flight Design CTLS / N8204B
Cottonwood (CTW) to Bagdad (BGT) - 2018 December 19 (51 minutes hobbs time)
---------------------------
Almost full flight video (some parts of cruise edited out) of the 57 nautical mile journey from Cottonwood to Bagdad, Arizona in the Flight Design CT. Including departure from Cottonwood's Runway 32, approach over the huge Bagdad Mine, and landing on Runway 5.
I’ve got over 100 hrs in multiple CTLS’s and I truly say that they are phenomenal aircraft for what they can do. I’ve been flying everything from gyro’s, helicopters, single, twin and amphibious aircraft over 54 yrs. Now with a left leg that cannot bend due to multiple surgical procedures, it’s the only AC that I can get in and out of easily. They are comfortable even on long XC’s and efficient. I even flew one on floats, but it was a pig due to the inefficient hp until we installed the big bore kit which adds 15 more hp. The full Dynon package works excellent and gives you everything you need. Enjoy, fly safe, smile and take it all in.
I’m jealous! Good flying
Sweet airplane. I’m biased. I own one.
hey man beautiful aircraft how tall are you? ive been told a tall pilot can fit in this thing, been trying to find and aircraft that i actually fit in well.
6'1" and I think I fit perfectly well, though also I'm really thin and flexible. Trained in a C152 and also fit fine, but the CT is more comfy
Do you own this aircraft, or borrow/rent. Just moved to PHX and looking for a CTLS to rent. Thanks!
This was a rental, but not available anymore. Subsequently, I rent Aeroprakt A22s from Leighnor Aviation in P52 and PRC.
Have you been onboard the 727 you show on your channel?
Yes I was onboard N311AG and filmed that video myself. Also was onboard N794AJ if that's the 727 you're referring to.
@@classicjet I was on board N311AG too.... 🤔
