You can take advantage of overguard gate by applying dot effects on an enemy. As long as the dot effect on the overguard is up you cant die. Affliction doesn't have to actually knockdown or lift the enemy, in most circumstances if it would lift or down the enemy but doesn't (such as an eximus) it will apply.
Also you can use heat inherit at your advantage by priming the eximus unit with your secondary with a heat mod on and then dmging him with either a weapon or an ability not only the next heat dots give over guard but they keep the 8x over guard dmg Wich is tremendously useful to deal with heavy units . Whoah you read all that yapping though most frames I know with heat ability based either already have over guard création (ember) or don't rly need it (gauss)
One thing about Arcane Ice Storm is that if your sentinel has the mod Shivering Contagion on their weapon your own primary weapon will also be able to activate it and spread cold procs. Making it alot easier to stack up the arcane.
Does this also work for secondaries? I know that it is a primary exclusive mod but I saw a gaz video where he was able to full freeze a group of enemies using his epitaph with this mod equipped on his sentinel
I use Secondary Fortifier on my Akarius since i don't have cascadia flare maxed, and oh boi it is fun. Not only you nuke everything, but also get overguard that negates the knockback effect of using big boom (also don't have yet prime sure footed)

I've been having some fun with Secondary Surge on Incarnon Lex and Zylok with Arcane Battery Chroma. Pretty niche still, but pretty chonky numbers, too.

the way they made an effort to highlight and elude to something akin to when the power rangers assemble and get the mechazoid. ..... im let down or just ignorant as i found very little harmony synergizing with melee afflictions(Stier) i think the ice/overguard are there more to highlight reworck of armor/status effect. not her and i cant figureout why they made the energy ones S-tier that will not see much mileage: [arcane ice storm] if stacks were on a decay timer it would see much more use. Voruna is only frame that ive found where i donmt have activly build around. shes only requiress sufficient mob density and some RNG _musing_ cold proc +3/s -75%ish status duration ("+cold/ +stat chance / + fire rate -status duration} riven could become the new off meta. goal rapid fire arcane charging. bonus functionality consistant hard CC reset/stunlocker chroma is the only frame that can can think of able 'natually' hit the energy cap of arcane battery @287% str [primed flow] required to get to reach the 8x cap and ill spare the list of reasons why its only works on paper a dispensory+health conversion/arcane ultimatum/bastile vahbaugn seems like could be functional build setup able to proc the 8x with relativley high frequency
Assuming battery gives energy for armor earned from certain team and mod buffs, you can actually make it pretty nasty very easily. Any ability that can make orbs drop subsumed+health conversion optionally with equilibruim to recover some of that energy=a crazy energy pool and a respectable armor pool. I can think of at least six frames to take advantage of this without subsuming.

Arcane Battery is perfect for Qorvex in particular. With a full Umbral build, it'll put his energy pool close to 1000.
Dual daggers can dual proc afflictions with a single heavy, Meaning you can proc 10 blast in one hit with okina prime

They’re great on all of em, although you can’t forget about my man chroma hitting the full 1k energy by tapping 3 and taking a bit of damage

th best option imo is using vauban with arcane battery because his 4 armor strips and gives you consistenly 1000 armor
How does that give Vauban armor by stripping enemies? I understand vex armor but how would stripping an enemies armor buff my armor?
