Crystal Lake is a perfect example of a band that doesn't take themselves too seriously and just has a ton of fun while still making good, heavy, music with a good dose of technicality. That's actually a good way to describe the Japanese scene as a whole, honestly.

One of the best things to me about Crystal lake is that if you listen to 1 song from every album you can hear clear and massive progression on Ryo's vocal ability. One of the best growths in their specialty of any vocalist I've experienced in a bands existance.

Let's go back a few years, to 2016. Looking for new music, I stumbled upon a reaction video by GALACTICRIMINAL. The band was Crystal Lake, and the song was Omega. That Blew. Me. Away.
