If you're gonna do anymore Crystal Lake please do the Apollo, it's so good it'll blow your mind and if you want to check out another great band check out a song called Area PD from Pale Dusk!
Fav metal core band, bar fkin none. Ryo is my fav vocalist of this genre too. Infact they reignited my love for this genre. I love they way they write their breakdowns and maintain that fine balance between the hard and softer melodic parts. I'm honestly amazed by how consistently they manage to nail that balance, atleast to my ears.
Their album 'The Voyages', which includes this song, and this music video were made with money raised through crowdfunding, and the credits are a list of the names of the backers. Just so you know.
i love to refer to this band as the masters of breakdowns lol! Highly recommend checking out more of their stuff, they have a lot of history and a lot of great tracks when this singer, Ryo, joined them. Hes definitely my favorite vocalist next to Taka from One Ok Rock and Masato from Coldrain. Definitely give Apollo a listen! Prometheus and Ups and Downs are two of my other favorites as well!
I do highly recommend their songs "Apollo", "Outgrow", "Agony", & "Sanctuary", even if u don't react to it here. Just listen to them on ur own or with us. Those listed songs each have their own types of melodies and heaviness. Apollo was the was the song that I first heard from them, and I was hooked after the 1st chorus. Good luck.
The drummer from Crystal Lake is the mixer / producer for the band Hanabie
