Been doing the sudden belly pull in for breath support, your explanation of breathing in to a slightly full belly then engaging the back muscles is game changing wow
Yess!!! Isn’t that crazy
@@KClayMusic you’re awesome, God bless you richly!!!
I've been looking for a video on how to best use core support for singing, and this video is the best explanation I've seen! Thank you!
Yayyy!! Thankyou so much!
Wow , thankyou so much for explaining how to connect to the breath. I for the first time fully understand breath support .
You are so welcome!!
Best explanation
Thanks! Glad it’s helping!
it helped me too much😁😁😁
Yay!! So glad!
When I stand my belly barely expands and it feels like I fill my tummy a little bit and then my chest starts going up. If I don't allow my chest to move at all I feel short of breath and even start getting pins and needles in my hands
Allow your chest to move a bit, just focus on strengthening your diaphragm muscle and your breath will move down over time!
I tried the breathing exercise with the counts for 10 seconds as you suggested, it is quite challenging x)
So during those 10 seconds I should only aim at sending the breath into the tummy? If I do so, I really inflates a lot, shall I let it expand all the way out or should I restrict the movement a bit? Thanks in avance for your help haha I am a bit confused
Let it expand!! It takes a strong diaphragm & core to inflate lots :)
Yes, aim at only sending breath into the tummy. It’s a better exercise for the diaphragm.
When you’re actually singing, you might have a combination of both sometimes and that’s okay too.
My rule is to not think too much about breath when performing. But to build good habits ahead of time
I appreciate how you respond to us quickly & completely. Thank You
Great Explanation, I see it. I get it. Finally! After dozens of other teachers. Your approach to explaining is so holistic. I appreciate you K.
