i think we need to revive that iroc series but just have the busch brother race in equal cars at bristol. or darlington. we have to know who would win in equal equipment. at some point we need that race.

@@Jeff.3 While I acknowledge those facts he he's done little to impress me for someone of his Hype (The irony is not lost on this Bubba fan) and equipment I still see Chase as being in Bill's shadow and while I am not a fan of his, I do want him to succeed and continue to improve (because that is good for the sport overall) In my view his potential outweighs his skill at the moment
Kurt > Truex in equal equipment, look at Kurt's 2013 FRR stats and compare with Truex in 2014 with them (same crew chief etc.) Truex may have done better in recent years, but if kurt drove the 19 he would leave MTJ in the dust
Its why I hope Kurt will go with Hamlin. Justin Marks clearly was born to be a car owner, and his aspirations to run Indy might persuade Kurt to race for him, but I firmly believe Kurt driving a JGR satellite team is potentially his best chance at a title since his championship. And that includes 2015, and 2018.
Before i watch my guesses are Kyle Busch Chase Elliot Kevin Harvick Kyle Larson Denny Hamlin Joey Logano Brad Keselowski Martin Truex Jr Ryan blaney Kurt Busch Edit: Not In Order
My Top Ten and Why Would Be: 1: Larson, one of the best dirt racers to great cup driver who knows what to do immediately, only problem is to keep his consistent runs going 2: Ky. Busch, one of the best drivers in the 2010’s, when playoff time comes he can be either good or bad 3: Elliott, a very great driver, has some experience, and is championship material 4: Hamlin, the most consistent driver in NASCAR, just freezes when it’s championship time 5: Keselowski, consistently great and competitive, just isn’t as good as he should to win title 6: Truex Jr, always competing for wins and consistent, but can have some bad runs here and there 7: Logano, very competitive, fights for wins, can make mistakes when it matters most 8: Harvick, very good solid driver, just can’t close the championship, it’s been like that since 2015 9: Blaney, consistent with teammates, only one win a year 10 Ku. Busch, consistent as a driver, isn’t as good as competitors
@@impliedevens Personally it would depend on the situation. I think Denny is just one of those people, you put him in a car and he will find a way to get the speed. As for Brad, he's the ultimate strategist. And with the current rules package, he's high in demand. I'd take Denny over Brad by a nose personally, especially the Denny Hamlin we've seen over the past 3 years. The fact that he's still leading the points despite like 3 months of HMS domination, while becoming a team owner this year, says a lot about him.

The only problem I have with list was your explanation with Chip Ganassi Racing, they were never a mid pack team. Ever since they joined the cup series they have been a big contender with sterling marlin. Juan Montoya took them to victory lane and Jamie McMurray won three races in 2010 and the all star race in 2014. Larson also won a bunch of races with them. never a midpack team
The only thing I disagree with is Truex, I would have him higher, but I understand your logic. I think 9th and 10th could be any 2 of like 6 or 7 drivers, but I agree with who you got.
I’d definitely put Bowman in just because of his recent success in winning this season. He’s done more in that 48 in less than a season than Jimmie in his last three.
Agree but you have to realize that he had to deal with Kevin Meendering. Without a doubt he’s the worst crew chief in NASCAR history. He’s the main reason why Sadler couldn’t win a xfinity championship.
Well 2 of my top 3 favorite drivers r on your list so that works haha.id have to agree with this list for this next year it will most likely get a nice shake up. With drivers switching teams and such
Imma try to be unbiased being a Kyle Busch fan, but Kyle is probably the best this generation of racers has to offer. Love him or hate him, I'm confident he'll pull off unprecedented success. If he gets another championship within 10, heck 5 years, you cannot deny his greatness
I am a Chase Elliott fan however I would have to put him behind Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. I did appreciate your points in Chase’s favor. In fact I would put Martin ahead of Denny and Chase behind them both. Denny does have wreckum Ralph way about him so maybe he does belong behind Chase.

1. Kyle Busch
2. Kevin Harvick
3. Kyle Larson
4. Denny Hamlin
5. Chase Elliott
6. Joey Logano
7. Brad Keselowski
8. Martin Truex Jr.
9. Kurt Busch
10. Alex Bowman
Honorable Mentions:
1. Ryan Blaney
2. Aric Almirola

No Chase Elliott hmph
@@kendall4245 Oops i forgot him
Fixed it
@@timpowell1429 Ok
Pretty solid list, I don’t think I would change anything on it myself.
i think we need to revive that iroc series but just have the busch brother race in equal cars at bristol. or darlington. we have to know who would win in equal equipment. at some point we need that race.
The only thing I disagree with on this list is Chase being in the top five I think he's a top 10 contender but for me he's like Seventh or Eighth
He's the current cup series champion, you gotta have the champion who's won twice this season in there, thats more then the other 3 drivers who was in the champion last year.
@@Jeff.3 While I acknowledge those facts he he's done little to impress me for someone of his Hype (The irony is not lost on this Bubba fan) and equipment
I still see Chase as being in Bill's shadow and while I am not a fan of his, I do want him to succeed and continue to improve (because that is good for the sport overall)
In my view his potential outweighs his skill at the moment
@@Lord_Foxy13 I'm not even a Chase fan and I find this statement crazy..
@@Lord_Foxy13 that’s true 💯
Aww man I hope bowman gets into the list here soon.
inb4 Eric starts a flame war with biased fans of each driver, cause I haven't watched the full video.
haven't watched the vid yet, but if Kyle Busch is not top 3, there's a problem
Before i watch my guesses are
Kyle Busch
Chase Elliot
Kevin Harvick
Kyle Larson
Denny Hamlin
Joey Logano
Brad Keselowski
Martin Truex Jr
Ryan blaney
Kurt Busch
Edit: Not In Order
I wonder where Larson now ranks after he won 10 races and the 2021 title.
My Top Ten and Why Would Be:
1: Larson, one of the best dirt racers to great cup driver who knows what to do immediately, only problem is to keep his consistent runs going
2: Ky. Busch, one of the best drivers in the 2010’s, when playoff time comes he can be either good or bad
3: Elliott, a very great driver, has some experience, and is championship material
4: Hamlin, the most consistent driver in NASCAR, just freezes when it’s championship time
5: Keselowski, consistently great and competitive, just isn’t as good as he should to win title
6: Truex Jr, always competing for wins and consistent, but can have some bad runs here and there
7: Logano, very competitive, fights for wins, can make mistakes when it matters most
8: Harvick, very good solid driver, just can’t close the championship, it’s been like that since 2015
9: Blaney, consistent with teammates, only one win a year
10 Ku. Busch, consistent as a driver, isn’t as good as competitors
I think keselowski and Hamlin should have been swap places because keselowski has a championship
That age old argument, Wins vs championships. And the way NASCAR is moving, the championships are going to mean less
I was thinking the exact same thing…. and I hate keselowski. But if I were an owner I’d take him over hamlin
He should won the 2020 title as well if it wasn't harvick or hamlin
@@impliedevens Personally it would depend on the situation. I think Denny is just one of those people, you put him in a car and he will find a way to get the speed. As for Brad, he's the ultimate strategist. And with the current rules package, he's high in demand. I'd take Denny over Brad by a nose personally, especially the Denny Hamlin we've seen over the past 3 years. The fact that he's still leading the points despite like 3 months of HMS domination, while becoming a team owner this year, says a lot about him.
Good job ...Eye agree. Top 3 right on...
Kyle Bush should only be on the biggest baby list... his attitude is what should pull him from the list
I pretty much agree with your driver ratings. I'm a Kyle Larson fan and that's about where I thought he'd be. Same with the other Kyle at #1. Ya I enjoyed your comments on each driver as well!! It's your list and your opinions so if someone doesn't like that they can go ahead and make their own... Great video that was just the right length for this subject!!!
I can’t wait to watch your next top 10 active drivers in probably 2-3 years and see how much has changed on your next top 10 active list.
I agree.. Your top ten pick is right on the money. Good job. Good luck on your adventure to. The up coming race's
Wrong, how can Kyle Larson be better than Kurt Busch Martin Truex Joey Logano Brad Keselowski Denny Hamlin or Chase Elliott they all have more wins or championships
I'd swap Brad with Truex, other than that I fully agree. And that's coming from a Harvick fan
Really solid list, mine would go:
1)Harvick
2)Busch
3)Larson
4)Hamlin
5)Elliot
6)Brad
7)Logano
8)Truex
9)Blaney
10)Kurt
Wishlist top 10
1. Quin Houff
2. Corey LaJoie
3. Ross Chastain
4. Chris Buescher
5. Ryan Preece
6. Tyler Reddick
7. Joey Logano
8. Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
9. Aric Almirola
10. William Byron
Everyone hates me now I'm guessing. No else likes these guys except me right? Thought so.
My favorite drivers Reddick, and I agree with where you put him. I think that in his future he could easily make the top 10.
I feel like maybe swap Larson and Harvick and that'd be mine. You should do a Xfinity series one too
Great video
I just finished your last video then right after this one came up lol
The only problem I have with list was your explanation with Chip Ganassi Racing, they were never a mid pack team. Ever since they joined the cup series they have been a big contender with sterling marlin. Juan Montoya took them to victory lane and Jamie McMurray won three races in 2010 and the all star race in 2014. Larson also won a bunch of races with them. never a midpack team
The only thing I disagree with is Truex, I would have him higher, but I understand your logic. I think 9th and 10th could be any 2 of like 6 or 7 drivers, but I agree with who you got.
Spot on true is the only I would rank higher? Good Job
I hope you remake this video this year. The top 4 should definitely get shaken up.
Yeah I don’t see Kyle Busch intimidating after those “weird” vacation pictures 😂
The next top 10 video you should do is one about the best up and coming drivers under the cup series !
@@48waffles36 fair. You’d think as a huge Jimmie fan I would have thought about that lol
@@TheRealJohnStephenson Yep 😅😂😂 it was painful time to have him as a CC. Wish we had Cliff in the entire 2019 season.
Well 2 of my top 3 favorite drivers r on your list so that works haha.id have to agree with this list for this next year it will most likely get a nice shake up. With drivers switching teams and such
I would put chase 7th brad keselowski 6th and martin truex jr 5th and joey logano 4th. I agree everyone else
Do a top 10 worst active list those are fun,
Imma try to be unbiased being a Kyle Busch fan, but Kyle is probably the best this generation of racers has to offer. Love him or hate him, I'm confident he'll pull off unprecedented success. If he gets another championship within 10, heck 5 years, you cannot deny his greatness
6:42 That is exactly why we need to rank Driver/Crew Chief combinations instead of just drivers or just crew chiefs
this has been your best listicle
yeah boi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HM: Bell, Byron, Reddick, Blaney
10. Kurt Busch
9. Bowman
8. Logano
7. Truex
6. Elliott
5. Hamlin
4. Larson
3. Keselowski
2. Harvick
1. Kyle Busch
Okay, I agree almost entirely. I wrote down my top 10 and all our drivers were the same. I think Bowman and Byron will soon replace Kurt and Kevin.
