The rumor I have been told of why the Petty 43 is that bright orange on the roof was for Richard's late wife (Linda) to be able to see the car anywhere on the track. It is now done to honor her. If you know some of the Petty history it would make a lot more sense as to why it is still that color.
I thought the red numbers for the petty cars on the roof the sort of a memorial to Lee cuz he had red numbers on the roof of his car I apologize I forgot a lot more than I remember been following the Pettys since 1970

The reason why the black and orange Armor All car is my favorite 2021 NASCAR Paint Sceme is because the black and orange looks amazing together and the orange is nice and bright. I also like the bright orange number 43 with the black outline and the white and black outline around the white number 43 on the side. And last but not l like the black rims. That is why my favorite 2021 NASCAR Paint Sceme is the orange and black Armor All car being driven by Erik Jones.

Eric, the blue numbers on the Llumar cars make sense. Llumar makes Window film, and the colors of the car represent different temperatures for the film.

For me in Ohio, It has to be decently into the negatives. I'm a person that wears short sleeves and shorts all year long. It gets really annoying, almost every time I walk into a store to have someone comment about it. I like the cold, so what if i'm wearing shorts and it's 5*F out and snow on the ground leave me alone.
All time favorite paint scheme was Jeff Burton’s 2000 Exide Batteries scheme, when exide still sponsored him. Had that white hood, with the lightening bolt down the side, with black and purple damn that car was beastly. I think Kurt Busch drove the exact same scheme in the truck series that year.

You need to place that 24 in the G category rn. Not sure how it looked on TV but im person it was sexy as hell last night. The way the matte black hit those colors looked great in person. And he had some really nice merchandise in his hauler. By far best paint scheme at the clash.
I like Keslowski's Key Stone scheme and Harvick's Hunt Brothers car. They should go into the A Tier. I agree with you on the white 7 car with green and blue bubbles.
I agree with your comments on the 3 car, Eric. For me, the orange being dialed back on the 3 is pretty underwhelming. Some of the best Bass Pro Schemes have absolutely GLOWED on the track because of the use of orange. 2016 Martin Truex and 2010 Jamie McMurray are probably some of my favorites.
