Everyone else has has their high flinch chance counters and charged attacks that make the hunter look like a demigod. But we have the ability to exploit EVERY SINGLE THING the monster does for anywhere between 300 and 2000 damage (when geared correctly) and LOTS of I-frames

@amanwithnoname-ds6ep honestly that's about it. I'm far from a master. I basically get through my hunts by just abusing the hell out of the air combo until the monster dies or until I mess up and get ko'd. Whichever comes first

The spiral slash can easily miss even when close to the monster's head, some monsters move a lot when down or you didn't hit the correct spot to start the drill part of it, doing the Pb to Ss combo can be missed too you back up a little when you do the pb switch skill then the spiral slash can be missed its happen to me a lot and it's disappointing by the time my characters touches the ground and moves forward as a result of missing the spiral slash the monster has already gotten up 2 wirebug cost would make the pb switch skill combo require you to have 3 wirebugs which 1 wirebug could've been used and is on recharge cuz the pb has a slow recharge speed while the ss had a medium recharge speed. Im not defending the db but they already don't have much to offer in solo quest speedruns its just the dual blades have so much drawbacks that makes it difficult to speedrun a quest or finishing quests in general
@@Specialshark well, i'm not a DB user at all. My weapons are GL, CB, HH, LS, Bow and bowguns. I just noticed that in the animation the hunter uses 2 wirebugs to propel himself forward.
