Blown Up Husqvarna 372xp From Marketplace | Amazon Rebuild Kit For The Win??

In this video I am rebuilding a Husqvarna 372 xp xtorq with the cheapest Amazon rebuild kit I could find. The saw does run and cut. I haven't run a stock 372xp before so I am not sure on how this rebuild kit compares to stock. My gut feeling is that it is slightly lacking in power compared to a stock saw.

Good job. The Amazon parts may not always be the best but it beats throwing it out and replacing it. I rebuilt a weed trimmer the same way.

For sure! If I would have realized it had the wrong piston in it from the start I think I would’ve tried just putting a piston and rings in it. If the power still isn’t there like it should be I might try putting the old stock cylinder back on and see if it makes a difference or not.

Nice job , I'm getting ready for two builds and getting all the tools for splitting ctiming. to setting high and low setting with a rpm meter. I have learned a lot of info from the tinman , buckin , Harvey . I like how you seem to just got into that 372xp and problem solved and figured everything out. Nice wook.. thumbs up bro
