No one could make a guitar scream like Dimebag. It broke me up when he died. My personal favorites that aren't on your channel yet: Walk, I'm Broken, and This Love.
Saw them in 96 after The Great Southern Trendkill was released and they played Suicide Note Part 1 over the PA and the whole place knew what was coming when that song ended. The curtain dropped and they went right in to Suicide Note Part 2 and the whole fucking place went nuts Only two times I thought I might die at a concert. This one and when Sepultura opened with Roots.

I live in Columbus, Ohio and unfortunately was at the Alrosa Villa when the massacre happened. RIP Dimebag and the other innocent people from the show, you live forever in my heart. This video is bittersweet, but it's nice to see him live on in his music. I went to hundreds of shows at this venue and after the event, the owner suffered many years of financial losses and finally put it up for sale. He was also sued into oblivion by Dimebag's family, it was a tragedy in every way. Weirdly I suffer milder PTSD from this event than I do from a worse event I witnessed. Guess life choices matter lol.
I heard they leveled Alrosa recently. I was almost there from Cinci. I'm sure it was devastating to be there. I was crushed from 100 miles away. We all suffered one way or another. F that dude. I will never speak his name

I was lucky enough to see them live once in 2001, and Pantera was untouchable!!! One of my best concerts ever - Pantera/ Slayer/ Static-X/ Skrape/ Morbid Angel... and 20 years later, Dimebag & Vinnie of Pantera have passed away (and so did guitarist Jeff Hanneman of Slayer, Wayne Static of Static-X, and Jared Anderson, the bassist/ vocalist of Morbid Angel at that tour 😪) It's tragic that fans getting into Pantera's music today will only have these TH-cam videos to experience Pantera live today...
Your voice and accent is so beautiful. It’s like music to me. You’re a beautiful creature. I mean that in the most respectful way possible. Thanks for checking out my favorite band!
Absolutely so much fun to watch you experience this, and the genuine joy I could see on your face from the solo on. It's funny because this song in reality is backwards from most songs in that you try to get the "hook" (not the chorus, but like the attention grabber to keep first time listeners listening) in the first minute. which in a way the part where the first riff ends, and it kind of opens up into that little "da dununununuh" that starts at 1:07 kinda is that, but the real grabber is the solo, and the breakdown. The difference is though that the hook in this song is so badass it keeps listeners coming back for more and more listens. like you said anybody who listens to that breakdown is compelled to headbang. I've listened to it a hundred times, and I still immediately start head banging. it would be an impossible challenge. Dimes haunting little "solo" or riff in that breakdown still gives me goosebumps. the songs title, and your channels title are both very accurate. the song dominates, and your reaction was cute.

Just a few information to this performance in Moscow. About 1,6 million people were there not just for Pantera but also bands like Metallica and further more. This concert was right after the Soviet Union fell in 1991. Dimebag Darrell considered as the best metal guitarist ever. "Rex" the bassist. Vinnie Paul (brother of Dimebag) on the drums and Phil Anselmo the lead singer. Dimebag was one of a kind with his squeels and way to make a guitar sing. Sadly he died 2004 due to being shot on stage on a live performance by a so called "fan". Vinnie Paul died in 2018 by nature, no outer influences. "Rex" and Phil still live till this day and I know Phil gave some interviews about not only the band but Dimebag. Another thing you can check out if you want, where you can see the beautiful nature of Dimebag is the Dime Clinic, where he does a gig with a Q&A. Absolutly beautiful interaction with fans.

Dimebag and Big Vin were Texas gentleman that we lost too soon. "We're not here for a long time. Pantera was on another level. It's tragic that the brothers Dimebag Darrel (lead guitar) and Vinnie Paul (drums) are no longer with us. They pushed Pantera to that level that no other bands could quite reach. I saw them in the 90's and will never forget them. Pantera had some of the best energy, groove, and attitude of any metal band ever. If Pantera doesn't make you move, then you're dead.
The Abbott Brothers left an indelible mark. They are the bridge between 80s metal and metal as we know it now.
