Man oh man. I haven’t watched this video in a couple years, but this is the video that was the catalyst to my awakening. After years of thinking that I SHOULD meditate I I finally sat down and used this video. 3-1/2 years later, I’m a completely transformed individual. And this video was the start of it all. So thank you. And infinite blessings to you for creating this gateway for me.

Just finished my first Meditation session, I found my peace so fast, and I checked the time I had been sitting there for 30 minutes, and it didn't feel that long, nor did I move at all. I had more improvement in my psychology from six months of meditation than from 20 years of sobriety, medication and therapy. Once you have your first mild insight you’ll be hooked. I’m up to an hour a day and have reached the stillness. Long way to go but what a journey so far!

I've always had a hard time with the breathing in meditation. Paying attention to my breath always made me feel tense and anxious. For some reason, something clicked during this video and I felt that the belly breathing was actually incredibly relaxing and centering. Thank you!!

This is because in the process of OBSERVING the breath, the mind tries to empty itself, by trying to distract you with what you are holding. It throws up emotions, thoughts, blockages up into the mind so that the mind can release it. Now if you observe WITHOUT REACTION, this is a temporary stage of feeling anxiety and tense and like every other sensation this too shall pass, but only if you concentrate on the breath without any REACTION.

Funny, I’ve been feeling so stressed with school and haven’t had the time or energy to reflect on my mental health (which is funny because I’m studying psychology), but after watching this video and participating in the meditation I just started crying and I feel sooooooo much better now!
I wasn’t able to really able to get into this stress-relief-cry simply because I’m at my University in a study room and I just don’t want other people to hear me blubbering right now with jagged breathing lol.
But I feel so much better now, thank you ❤️

I want to make a suggestion...You should record some guided meditations and make sound files of them so we can have a guided meditation with you in our phones or MP3 devices. I love the information on your channel and I'm so glad I came across it a few weeks ago. The other reason I love your channel is your soothing voice and how calm you make me feel. It would be perfect for guided meditations. I think beginners would benefit from the guided meditations at first before they do it on their own because it can be difficult sometimes to know what to do and to stay focused. I'm relatively new to it and I find I like guided ones with soothing music better. Over time, I am sure I take take it from there on my own. I can't wait for the other 2 parts of this series. ❤️🙏🏼

Thank you so much for your videos. I've always wanted to try meditating, but I always found my brain so scrambled in thoughts that I couldn't actually sit, and actually meditate. Your beginners guide has helped me to finally relax enough to make meditation a staple in my life 🙏
Thanks again! And cheers from Alberta.

Sadia, what perfect timing. Your voice and vibe really lends itself to this type of guided meditation. I've been looking for something recently but not found the right guide... so I'll be staying tuned for sure.

I’ve been trying to learn to meditate so I can learn to calm my mind, and everything I find is always too mystical, or too advanced or just plain goofy.
Your straightforward easy to understand approach is so very much appreciated!
    Once again, thank you.

Amazing! I do a daily morning breathing and meditation exercise as part
of my self-care and I also use it when I'm overthinking. It's the first thing I do before anything else.

You always come up with varied topics which encompass mindfulness activities and encourage to know ourselves more. I have been yoga, meditating n doing breathing from past 10 yrs. It is difficult to explain ppl who do have a lot of questions. Always love when see the subtle beauty of it in people over the time. Thanks a lot. This helped me with a new perspective. :)

Hi Hiral - great question! I certainly found it was very hard in the beginning, and it still can be sometimes - especially if I'm anxious or stressed - but it always helps to just push past that discomfort. As for how long; it really depends. Above all: be patient with the process as it can take time. Slow and easy :)

Here is an answer of how long ? In this short video, it has explained the analogy of different meditative state to all the way to final stage. It's entirely up to you to decide how long. Check this video : th-cam.com/video/Lkb1YWEPCxw/w-d-xo.html
