There is no best generation. All generations are good. There are good and bad music all the time. And of course people like the music they grew up with the most.
That is so true ! Even though I'm more of a 60's and 70's man - I must admit that for POP music this was a golden era. I've never bought as many 45 singles as I did during the 80's and well into the 90's. Every week I bought from 2 or 3 to 4, 5 or 6 singles - and one hit after another just kept pouring out. And there were so many talented Artists and Bands that were struggling to reach the highest positions on the charts. But then, around 2000 it all suddenly died out. These days, perhaps I hear one POP song per month that has something similar to what was being cranked out every week during the 80's. "Rolling In the Deep" was a good one - and it gave me a flashback back to the 80's when I heard it - but it's really hard for me to think of any other really good ones from the last 2 decades. There are still some good music being made - but they are not what you can call POP songs.
I love this song and bought the single when it was in the charts; one of those instantly likeable songs that just sticks in your mind; the intro is absolute perfection, and it's like that all the way through - an absolute classic. One of those that's so good, it's almost impossible to better!
80' rock. I loved that era being born in 1966. Got to grow up in 2 brilliant decades of the 1970's and 1980's. Transport me back. One of the most good things of this generation is being able to watch stuff like this on TH-cam!!!!❤
Song of the 80's, from a band from Perth Scotland, had this song been done by one of the big bands of the era, say Duran Duran then it would never have been of the radio and hailed as the 80's greatest song i reckon.

This song is the very best of the 80's 🏴

I'm only 13 but I'm really glad my parents grew up around the 80s cos I would never have been brought up listening to amazing songs like this
Im literally the same as you except that my parents only listen to 5 of their favourite songs lmao
wooo, me too, though i think this type of music makes for some really good road trip music, only if we could do those more often nowadays...
Try the 90’s out! Lots of great rock bands!
It warms my heart to see that there are still teens who love this kind of music. It's priceless. I'm 17 and I grew up listening to music like this thanks to my father.
Good on you, I was 13 when it came out I'm 52 now still sounds great, well done mum n dad
Somebody today said "feels like heaven" and I remembered this song. Had to look it up and found this. Priceless!!! The 80s were just the very best ever. So happy I lived those happy years as a late teen/early 20yo with this amazing music.
Wasn't it amazing I was 16 when this came out and always stayed with me. Now I'm getting old all I think about was the 80's, just amazing being around then. Take care love from UK
I‘m 16 and I love old music more than todays music. And this will never change.
Good for you 😊

Listening to this beautiful song takes me back to my teens during the 80's; it is helping me to forget about the dire situation I am currently in.
Se fuerte, ánimo, espero que te vaya mejor ahora.
I hope your situation has changed for the better, god bless.
Yes definitely ❤
Wish I could go back to the 80s, never will life be the same as those great years.

one of those songs that came out of nowhere and remains a classic to this day
Bought this on 7 inch vynal when I was thirteen fifty two now still love it.👌
Heaven is closer now today
The sound is in my ears
I can't believe the things you say
They echo what I fear
Twisting the bones until they snap
I scream but no one knows
You say I'm familiar, cold to touch
And then you turn and go
Feels like heaven
Feels like heaven
See how we planned for saddened eyes
And tears to pave the way
I fought the fever as I knew
My hair returned to gray
Study your face and fade the frame
Too close for comfort now
We can recall the harmony
That lingered but turned sour
Feels like heaven
Feels like heaven
You wanted all I had to give
See me, I feel, see me, I live
Feels like heaven
(Heaven is closer)
(Heaven is closer)
Feels like heaven
(Heaven is closer)
(Heaven is closer)
Feels like heaven
(Heaven is closer)
(Heaven is closer)
Feels like heaven
(Heaven is closer)
(Heaven is closer)
Feels like hea... ven.

80s pop music the best modern pop sounds like shit well some
the day the musics have meaning
The best music comes from the 80's and this is one of them.
People who don't realize this just haven't heard songs like this. Once exposed to it they come to the epiphany.
DJ Hemi u r totally right

I am 51 and 80s best gend in music one iv my favourite songs the singers vocal and ability ❤❤❤❤❤
What ?
There is no best generation. All generations are good. There are good and bad music all the time. And of course people like the music they grew up with the most.
Unnaturally good song wow, how did they not became a worldwide success is beyond me❤❤❤
私は日本人ですが、ここ日本でもヒットしなかったのが何故だろうと不思議に思っています。やはり他のバンドと比べたら地味なルックスや印象なのが否めなかったのかも知れません。ただ曲自体は本当に素晴らしいですけどね。
My daughter just won £2000 for guessing the snippet of this song on pure radio. Fantastic song, always will be.
i love everything in the 80's esp the music as compared what I hear nowadays.
Doesn’t anyone else understand that this song is about leaving a toxic relationship. It feels like heaven to be away from her.
I prefer the first theory.
No, you're projecting.
Yep. G
Mick Abigail Agree now I’ve listened to it more
Yes I went through a bpd relationship
Ich, 30, die auf dieser wundervollen Musik hängen geblieben ist. Danke Mama&Papa ❤

One of the great songs of the 80s. A brilliant decade for music
"Rolling In the Deep" was a good one - and it gave me a flashback back to the 80's when I heard it -
but it's really hard for me to think of any other really good ones from the last 2 decades.
There are still some good music being made - but they are not what you can call POP songs.
This track hits the heart strings. Just sheer class.
thats because we didnt realise what crap would be around now ! lol@thomasfarrell9134
Another fantastic song from the best era of music.
I love this song and bought the single when it was in the charts; one of those instantly likeable songs that just sticks in your mind; the intro is absolute perfection, and it's like that all the way through - an absolute classic. One of those that's so good, it's almost impossible to better!
Can't Get OVER The FACT This SONG is already 40yrs old
This song makes me happy and also sad because i miss these days
SuperBoomshack get your pals around and play them 👍
Where d same!
Same here!!
So true.

80' rock. I loved that era being born in 1966. Got to grow up in 2 brilliant decades of the 1970's and 1980's. Transport me back. One of the most good things of this generation is being able to watch stuff like this on TH-cam!!!!❤
great times , im glad I was there .
I was born 67 and totally agree, TH-cam is a time machine
Thanks for agreeing. 80s rock and as you say youtube is a time machine. I have discovered so much on here from my childhood. Great memories ❤
@@DawnChappell-z4m the same, I have also enjoyed songs and artists I didn't like back then. Great times so far away, thank god for memories
1970, music is my saviour, you never know what's ahead in life.

it really is 👌👌✅
Yes I agree
Song of the 80's, from a band from Perth Scotland, had this song been done by one of the big bands of the era, say Duran Duran then it would never have been of the radio and hailed as the 80's greatest song i reckon.
✨ ... yes, but notice:
😶 ... Manipulating the counter of views AND other parameters of Videos&Users !!! so, is TH-cam an example of "disrespectfully" behaviour ??? --- SHAME ON YOU, TH-cam ! 😶 YT, reflect yourself! _showing-your-ugly-grimace?"remember:you-can't-eat-money!"_ Haha! 😁 (I'm just lovin' Music&CoolStuff) ... ... and there're some "humans" who never get "enough"! ☝ those want more-and-more-and... to feel kinda "alive"! ☝Sorry, mother Earth. ✨
When I scroll trough this commentsection, I see many “Old” people who lived during the 70’s/80’s. Well, here I am, a 16 Year old boy born in 2002. I mainly listen to modern rap/hiphop, pop and rock. But when I listen to this... I don’t know. It’s just beautiful. Music is timeless...
Same here (also 16)
Eyyyyy same here fam gang I'm 15 and this is a banger

Legends of Scotland!
I was in love with somebody who adored this song. Each time we listened, I felt in heaven. We never became a couple, but this song definitely is a musical milestone in my life.
These guys from Perth, Scotland were not prolific at all, it was like all their efforts when into this song, and what an effort it was. Simply sublime!

@@markcastelletti483 yes. I need to agree, because When I listen to new songs, I easily get pissed of
Life is a dream inside a locked room.
Even though it's actually a very sad song about a very depressed person.
The music, lyrics, tone in his voice..the audio definition of bittersweet. I was born in '91, but I so love the music of the 80s. Y'all were on a deeper level back then. Peace.
couldnt be more agreed, love ✌🏻 🌠
yes we were
Molly I dont think we were on a deeper level, it was just a time, electro pop was born, new romantics, a new era. It was a birth of news sounds for our generation, I am so grateful I grew up in the Eighties and so glad you like our sounds xx
