I am utterly grateful for the amazing timing my mom and dad had in allowing me to be born into this world... Born in 1965, I had the pleasures of not only being able to enjoy a safe and happy childhood but to live my teenage and young adult years in the 80s, where the best songs this world has to offer were created. I hear this and I get such a poignant burst of nostalgia, it makes me cry. Transports me back to when I was aged 20. Life was brilliant. Weekends were all about dressing up to the ' new romantic' nines for the clubs and Sunday all day discos. I can still feel the exitement of getting ready to go out, no worries in my world, with my whole life and the promise of a fantastic adventure still ahead of me. I never had a broken heart or gave one, still had all my loved ones round me and was the happiest I have ever been. Wish I could go back and live every precious moment of those years again. We who were having the time of our young lives in the eighties were surely the luckiest of all.

Born in the 60's I think we had the best music ever what years we grew up in period.
Even my kids now all grown up admitted how jealous of our generation's music.
His voice is haunting, I love listening to him. Today's music is so lacking umph.
tout a fait Julie superbe voix chaude et également la musique très belle ICE house je l ai ai suivi depuis leur début Claude progni
today's music is like wallplaster
brilliant song❤
I thought it was David Sylvian from Japan first time I heard this song
totally agree with you
I lost both my legs in the Crimean war but when I hear this song I can still hop around on my stubs. Kids today just don't know how to dance
Haven't heard this song since I was a kid and it gives me goosebumps , still sounds fresh
Have such a vivid memories of 1983 - 13 years old - parents divorced - struggling to fit in school - finding VHS tapes and music to help cope - this song brings it all back
I hope life got better for you.
Interesting, that's exactly what happened to me, same age too.
Was für ein toller Song, da werden Erinnerungen wahr, was waren wir da jung... 😊, eine so wunderschöne Zeit die wir erleben durften... 😊

This record had Bryan Ferry written all over it, soooo good
Totally agree. Bryan Ferry is my favourite artist and would have made a brilliant version of this superb song.
Love the ice-cold sound of early 80s synth pop!
Wasn't it just amazing?!
True music.
Just it.

Quels souvenirs de mes 20 ans avec certains amis, qui ne sont plus là....
💔
Sublime, sad, and pure. One of the best songs from that era.
Im 74, I discovered them by buying Primitive Man in the 1980s in Jackson
Wyoming. Glad I did.
This song and singer is 100 % inspired by Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music… love it.. ❤
The 80s are a decade that will never , ever be beaten for music , So many different styles .
Reminds me of David Sylvian a little 😊. Such a tune , taking me back to my childhood
I thought the same.
I was born in 1977 so grateful everyday for the great times we had in the 90s growing up no phones or computers we had the best music

A time in life where we were simple, free, not worn down by the modern world, playing in the streets of N London. It is bittersweet with ups and downs of life in an alchaholic house but you come through.....memories...brilliant song
