- In this video I'll go over an amazing xp farm for your main character perfect for anyone trying t max them out or gain some stats on your arisen.
This is one of the best and easiest ways to level up in dragons dogma 2 and may well be patched in the future so take advantage of it while you can.

1 thing I forgot to mention is that when doing this chuck on warfarer and that way youll be leveling up every vocations you've unlocked whilst leveling your main character👍
Given xp scales even across all vocations that's bad advice. Better to do one by one, and not by killing large foes but mobs. In the right area a small group of goblins are 70 dcp each so just killing 4 already gets you more than that griffin. Also while it can go to 999 I've heard from multiple sources that around 200 + maybe 10 or so levels each stat hits its respective cap.
@@channelofmojos2779 That depends, if you already have some vocations maxed those Discipline points are redistributed to other vocations and if you maxed Warfarer all the Discipline is going to be distributed to the other vocations
you can also kill the golem, it takes a bunch of arrows but I can kill it within the 2 minutes of waiting for the griffin. Also, to the right of the golem is sometimes a minotaur or a chimera, which you can also kill but you gotta aim a little above them. They have longer spawn times but it's a little bonus when they do spawn!
Unfortunately on PS5, the range of hit boxes is too far, no matter where you hit them from head to toe. Over 40 arrows hit on the golem and adjacent monsters, only works for Griffith for me.
@@floydflo aw that sucks. It works on XBox series X. But hey, they only spawn sometimes and the xp is nowhere near the amount the griffin gives, so you aren't missing that much! :D
So this no longer works. I have one suggestion that I came across yesterday and I went up 10 levels in about an hour but it requires money and Ferrystones. It requires at least two Port crystals, the main Port Crystal you want to have. 1) will need to be at the campsite that is closest to Medusa. Do not put the Port Crystal in front of her cave as it would cause you to get ambushed every time you teleport back. 2) The second port Crystal can be place at either bakbattahl or volcanic Island camp I prefer the volcano camp for the simple fact that the vendor sells explosive arrows and fairy stones. Typically two of them if you wait and is a rest bench right by her. Doing this alone that means along no pawns. Ensuring that you get the maximum experience Medusa is very easy. A couple of explosive arrows to her head to take her out and you should get between 52 to 55,000 experience just from her alone not to mention the goblins and bandits that are down the road. Like I said, this particular grind does require a little extra money, but if you're lucky like me you get a lot of Medusa bones and Medusa bows which you can sell to get your money back. But like I said I went up 10 levels in about an hour. And you typically have to wait between 4 and 6 days I believe. Good luck folks. Let me know how it works. Of course this does not work in the unmoored world cuz you can't really pass time like that.
Might give this a try as I’m tired of killing the two drakes in volcanic island over and over. This seems like the faster method for xp. Thanks for sharing.🙃

You can also increase your Discipline points while doing this by equipping the ring.
Which ring? The Seeker Coin ring?
@@floydflonot sure the name of it but it’s not easy to get. It’s the ring you get for turning in 220 seeker tokens. It’s more time consuming than anything. You can look up a dragons dogma 2 interactive map, filter it by seeker tokens and start running all over the place. It is possible to get 220 of the 240 tokens without them being locked behind story progression. That said, they are located in some hard to reach spots and it would be best to use a mage and Levitate. The only “story” progression I would say you would need is the ox carts but if running around to every square inch of the map from the get go is your thing then you can get all the tokens
@lukedawg2787 wrong that ring is only for vocation.. you wanna use the ambition ring for xp level

The gryffin spam kill leveling works fine but the medusa spell bow isnt doing the trick even I equip it for exp boost. Am I doing something wrong? I got 7k+ exp with having the main pawn and 8k+ without them.
Wouldn't you get more xp with no pawns in your party? Or do you always need them for aiming the ballista?
Please be aware, ensure you dismiss your main pawn when doing this. If your main pawn accompanies you they will also get most of the exp as well. This is bad because at a certain point your main pawn will be too high leveled for anyone to summon them and too expensive for lower level players. You basically playing offline at this point, which is fine if you are ok with that.
They can just friend you to get them for free. Most do that anyways and message the person asking if its ok
Also, tested it myself.
By myself, earning 34k exp per Griffith kill.
With my Main Pawn, 31k to Arisen, 20k to Main Pawn. Totaling 51k.
I’d rather level my pawn up and earn exp toward BOTH.
To each their own.
Main pawn is over level 70 and have no problem earning rift coins. He always get hired.

What if no matter what time and how many times I pass time I always see it flying away from the camp then flying towards the city to the left but then it never comes back

1 this is working i can confirm im now doing it but its little harder then before because crossbow won’t one shot that bird its either 2 maybe 3 but yea i get 30k every time

My strength doesn't even increase anymore and I'm at level 165. Rarely do any of my stats increase and if they do is maybe like one or two points and different categories

no griffin here on steam and i've waited a full in-game day at the balista after having rested at the inn until morning 3 times. i don't think this still works
did you wait 12 or 13 times on the bench then try? i've had no issues yet with it but I am on xbox so they could have updated pc early

Why do you need to farm XP? If everything scales with you you're really not accomplishing anything by leveling more than necessary.

Yes, it still works. You can do this rather early in the game. I went back to Melve as soon as I got to Vernworth ( just after Captain Brant told you to meet him in the Tavern at night). To return to Melve, just take the Oxcart.
Hmm that griffin at the tree is not turning up
Do you notice an unwanted scar on your main pawn? I have one on mine and I don’t know how to get that bug to go away
If your pawn have scar means your pawn died from riftstone(hired pawn). To heal the scar go to volcanic and go to hotspring

2 ways first is your pawns will get on the parts to turn it or you can just turn it your self at the bottom and also the part with the crank

Can you shoot the golem there or nah?
I was unable to, was able to get it to stand up. But on PS5 the draw distance is low, and the animations are stale.
Over 40 hits on the golem to no avail.
Does this help with leveling vocations too?
200 Discipline per kill, not worth it. You can gain 25-125 per kill on goblins, wolves, and bandits that spawn consistently on roads just exploring. Much quicker for vocations to roam and kill everything.
There is a ring that helps with lvl up vocation faster, don't ask for the name cause I play it in German, good luck
If you find 220 seeker tokens you can get a ring called ring of endeavor that boosts discipline for your vocations
Why does all the armor look so bad in this game? It's all so horrible. There's literally just a few pieces of armor that are designed well. The rest are subpar at best. They have so many iterations of armor at this point to get inspired from and this is what they came out with. Wow
I actually thought the same a lot of the armor and even the weapons were quite underwhelming unfortunately

I stopped at 75 there is no point ti level up, is not dragon dogma 1 were felt better to become stronger doing the end game dungeon and oneshotting the boss. This game were good but to many bullshit, said from someone that got all achievement. To many problems, to many bullshit.

I count 3 night skies doing “Doze-Offs” on a bench. 12-13 times dozing off.
Wait 2-3 minutes and the Griffith spawns again.
