"So if you do a Load of stuff and then die, you'll go back to the time you rested" *looks at my hoard of Wakestones* ...Yea i don't think that's gonna be an issue.
plus every dragon and most major fights drop another one lol. Between that and vocation swap heals, no one should be sleeping at all in unmoor world unless you want to
07:02 That goes with the other NPC as well, including the shop vendor. Every time you let them die, you will lose that discount privileges. Also, at some long time rest sleeping, they will also lose their discount. You will notice it, when they don't give you discount anymore, or another NPC replace the older NPC.
Wish there was a warning for that last beacon, I thought I'd do the fight like the previous ones then continue exploring, but it ended the game instead
The pathfinder will tell you "there is nothing else for you here" if you did all the "save the worlds" beacons. Which made it pretty clear to me that this beacon in the seefloor shrine is the end of the game.
In DD1 you start NG+ by collecting 20 wakestones and talk to someone It is super clear that it is the point of no return. DD2 is really dropping hints in the player. Also, there is nothing wrong with a 4th wall breaking message warning the player.
I go get the pawn before the seafloor shrine. Also, important to tell people that there isn't anyone in places like Melve or the hidden village to save (at least not on my last playthrough)
You missed at least one. The one right next to Agamenian galea a few feet away is a Lich that drops Edified vestment (not sure if it is soley from that one but i saw him and attacked)
Pro-tip, some vendors get new stock too. So you can spend gold, which is easier to grind than WC. If gearing up is an issue at that point anyway. PS: Vocation swapping does not restore health. At least not for me. That might work if you swap from a maxed out vocation to a rank 1 vocation as the stat scaling might shrink your health bar but, otherwise it's not a thing.
You can also buy basically all the hidden armors from the Elven forgemaster lady. Dominators armor to the arch mages robe it's really just all there lol.
@@sPaCe_NiNjA187 That might be because he didn't change his vocation in the video, he only talked about it. When you change you get the prompt to go to the equipment screen and that didn't show.

This is the best guide I've seen for endgame explanation; well done. This would have helped me a few days ago when I was running around trying to find all the items but I'm in NG+ now having a blast regardless. I'll definitely revisit the true ending again to clean up what items I did miss.
Nah, it is just proximity & time. I did all the bosses/evacuations in one go when arriving by spamming portcrystals and they all appeared after some porting around. You don't have to rest. Time still advances, just doesn't have any impact on the "timer" that is only goverened by sleeps.
Question: When going to new game plus will the portcrystals that i’ve placed in the world be there? Or do i have to pick them up before new game plus-ing or else they’ll disappear?
Every video game guide for any game that ive ever watched that says breeches. They say it like bree, ches. But its actually said like brih, ches. I find it so funny
I got hit hard around assassin's breeches spot and clipped into the cave with the enhanced golem below. Was running magic archer and what do you know, i got magic archer armor down there... 😅
Those weapons and armor aren’t the best in the game. for example the Medusa bow is by far the best bow and not the dragon one. The holy enchanted daggers for gold I’d argue are much better than the WLC ones and even the holy or fire enchanted mace are literally more powerful than the Dragons Dogma sword. There are other examples but those 3 are very very obvious and stick out to me through my testing
Are there Seeker's Tokens only available in the unmoored world? I would like to get the max affinity ring before the unmoored world so I can ensure the pawn love (my pawn dies very easily because she's constantly jumping off cliffs or into the brine.)
The big monsters do respawn. In my second time through the unmoored world I did all the quests and cleared out the beams without resting. Ran around the whole map looting and killing. After a couple rests the big monsters respawned but they don’t drop more gear
Warfarer is pretty much the only vocation viable to survive in the unmoored world. Use it. Combine mystic spearhands mirour shelde, mystic archers frosthunter bolt, warriors heavenward sunder, add a mage weapon for healing and levitate and then you and your party are pretty much immortal. If your main pawn isn't a thief hire one that's straightforward and has plunder skill for heaps of free loot and you can pretty much just spam mystic spearhands mirror shelde keeping the thief impervious to damage while they kill and loot everything = broke the game lol.
I have been sitting here for a bit thinking in that cover case armor (if it hasn't been data minded etc) but curious if it could be that extra notch on secret step by step process to actually get it wouldn't be the first time and hits may be possible form status to the cover maybe the jack of all master of non is needed
theres actually a full set for every normal class and in the video theres a spots right next to eachother where u missed an item for example at 12:34 if u go down that river area theres another chest and boss for an item right below
You quick cut a lot when near the chests but fail to quick cut to the map ( that being the most salient detail) leading into a general area concept or rough approximation unless the target is very obvious.
Is it me or does the armor in dd2 not feel complete compared to dd1. In the first game there was multiple sets that could be worn by dofferent classes but dd2 feels like armor sets aren't even sets. If they are then they just don't feel like it because not all the pieces can be worn by same class.
Time passing is happening just not like you would think. It seems you have limited number of "rests" but time passes since i forged an item and it wasn't ready after rest. I walked around a bit and got back and it was ready. I was wondering if lesser dragons are respawning because i think i killed all and had few rests and all other bosses came back but lesser dragon's didn't so I decided to end the game and go try it in new game+
As a personal challenge to myself, I actually completed all of the quests and beacons in the unmoored world without getting hit. It was a ton of fun. Edit: Again, the Dragonforged doesn't sell the "best" weapons in the game. Things like maces for fighters serve a purpose that the swords don't, but there is no mace from the dragonforged. Same for Warriors. Also, Heaven's Key (the holy imbues daggers) clock out 20% more dps with dwarven smithing and wyrmsfire enhancements than the Dragonforged's offering. And that's against enemies not weak to holy, forget about undead, where they do twice the damage you'd do with the "best" daggers with a fire boon from a mage. Even the bow is not as good as Hydra Husk, which boasts more strength, and only a minute of knockdown power is missing, not enough to make any real difference. Point being, that he doesn't sell the "best" weapons, because the "best" weapon is dependent on what you're fighting, unless it's Heaven's Key. Those are seriously overtuned on damage, do not sleep on them. Plus, their high magic actually makes the explosives and Blades of the Pyre Thief can do stronger. And if you think Blades of the Pyre is trash, use it during Formless Feint and you avoid damaging yourself with it. It pumps more DPS than Skull Splitter in certain scenarios, but not all, so it doesn't completely replace Skull Splitter save for Drakes, Cyclopes, Griffins, or groups of enemies. TL;DR: Please don't spread misinformation about the Dragonforged selling the "best" weapons, because weapons are very much a use case scenario tool.
this is wrong, you can steal a lot more, I ran with 4 thiefs with plunder in the unmoored world and each of us came out with an extra 80-110 WLC + the extra from killing the boss, I got pretty much every item from the dragonforged by the time i killed the last beacon boss
Underground of the assassin's breeches chest, ther is a laberint with a golem inside, if you kill it, it gives you the magic archer legendary chest called Godsbeast Scalecoat.
@@AnonYmous-si5qvyes there is… there’s literally a small cave/ labyrinth. You can just fall through the hole by the chest if you want to use a wakestone

This video has so much wrong information. You can't change vocations to regain your HP in Unmoored World. You've read it somewhere but didn't test it yourself. A lot of the "unique" armors are actualy sold by vendors in the UW AND NG+ vendors. Would take you no effort to confirm your own info
Unique to the post game dufuss, id rather not drop gold on half this crap if I can go grab it for free. If ya watch he does quiet literally show them in the shop and says "why buy this when you can find it"

The folks unfamiliar with this series and how peculiar and frustrating the mechanics are is SO clear. Just breath guys, this game and its predecessor are VERY weird and finicky on puropse whether its for you or not. If its not, try not to be SO negative for the rest of us. The negativity from new players is getting less forgivable as we get further from launch. We want to help, we want yall to enjoy the game. Try to ask for help or engage with the community before youre so loud and so shitty.
This is pretty common now. Look at Elden ring with newcomer: complaining about mechanics that been in the series for a long time. Not surprising to see people be like “what only one save!”
I’m new to the series. This my first game in the series and I utterly loved my experience with it. The tutorial in the menu made things quite clear. Sure some quests and the unmoored world may need guides from TH-cam but it’s still a fun experience!
Can you save normally in the unmoored world without resting? Do enemies such as drakes and lesser dragons respawn even without resting in the unmoored world? If so how long is the respawn rate?
Does anyone know where you can farm Eldricite in the unmoored world? I have been all over the place Looting mines Killing Ghosts Looting Bone piles And I have not gotten any.
The awkward part of them not being full sets makes me hesitant to go into unmoored and look for them. Cause once I am done, I'll want to NG+ just to have the pretty world to explore and walk around in. Devs really made it difficult for us having to slog through a fourth and fifth playthrough just for that completionist's itch
Tbh go for them because from what I've gotten they mix REALLY well with other pieces. At least a bunch of them do. Plus if you have them if they throw a content update or a dlc you'll have them if they finish the set intentionally.
Most of the items found in the unmoored world chests are purchasable from any vendor in the unmoored world or ng+. Like the dominator armor is not actually unique for example
So I'm in the unmoored world. But I don't know where to go to have my pawn enter the statue giant. Do you know where that is I don't have a quest active....?
IF you stopped him in the game before unmoored. He is crouched down by the slave encampment on volcanic island. All you have to do is walk by it and the pawn does the rest.

- Final note: It's all RNG, i sometimes walk away with 30-50 Crystals for each drake, but i had moments my pawns couldn't steal anything, so then it was like 10-20.
Have a good Grind, Arisens! If this Helped, Happy to help.
Honestly, you get a boat load in the post game. You probably don't have to farm as much as you think.
@@daviddasilva851 yeah, i will probably go into the Post World this weekend.
Only now i figured the Dragonforged will sell the gear too in NG+.
I have around 500 of those wlc. So should be fine to buy the stuff i want for me and my Pawn.
With the abundance of drakes and the possibility of straight up buying gear you can enter endgame with 0 wlc and have enough to buy/enhance everything. Source: me
Got the wlc from grigori, entered umoored and just straight up fought everything I could find without any steal.
@@rhodan74 Yeah, I still have 500+Wlc left now and went into NG+, i ended up not buying any Armor cuz they kinda look ugly
And simply bought alot of weapons.
I first did everything in the UnMoored world before buying the stuff i want, so i believe i had 900 wlc in total and have 500left in NG+.
@@galacticfirefly6060 The best tip if you go there at lower levels is to max out affinity with the elf apothecary in the "normal" world and buy allheal from him for 8k. Use wakestones on yourself, give main pawn allheal when their lossgauge is below 40%. -> unkillable.
"So if you do a Load of stuff and then die, you'll go back to the time you rested"
*looks at my hoard of Wakestones* ...Yea i don't think that's gonna be an issue.
plus every dragon and most major fights drop another one lol.
Same thing happened to me lol I was pretty pissed
When you walk up to it your pawn tells you “this is the end maybe we should finish up here first”
The pathfinder will tell you "there is nothing else for you here" if you did all the "save the worlds" beacons.
Well melve was wiped out and the hidden village was hired by Sven to help evacuate so that makes sense
You missed at least one. The one right next to Agamenian galea a few feet away is a Lich that drops Edified vestment (not sure if it is soley from that one but i saw him and attacked)
Fantastic vid' - just started Unmoored - and this helps greatly - cheers 😀
ty man..
i found the full armor for thiefs, warriors and fighters
Great video, this was so helpful. Thank you!!
Ah that’s a shame. I had no idea about the rest limit so I missed out on saving the people from the volcanic region camp. 😔.
All of them aren't there tho
They ain't free tho
Lol this guy getting his info from other people and actually not trying it out for himself. Changing your vocation does not fully heal you 💀
It didn’t even replenish the tiny bit he was missing when he did it in video. He smoking that good stuff.
@@sPaCe_NiNjA187 That might be because he didn't change his vocation in the video, he only talked about it. When you change you get the prompt to go to the equipment screen and that didn't show.
Can confirm that changing vocation *DOES NOT* heal you.
I attempted it myself jumping between Fighter and back to Warrior. It does not heal you.
I’m not that far yet would it be if you unlock a new vocation?
Granted you can make potions that fully heal all of your health without resting
@harryzanks9016 Can the Allheal Elixer be crafted? I'm looking it up and so far I may just have it duplicated.
You're nuts dude. Thanks for the solid DD guide content man. Good sh*t, timestamps would make me moisty. What a great game, enjoy it guys! Games like this come around every decade or so.
There are more than just 10 unique pieces of gear in the UW. I found at least 5 more unique ones whilst exploring it.
This is the best guide I've seen for endgame explanation; well done. This would have helped me a few days ago when I was running around trying to find all the items but I'm in NG+ now having a blast regardless. I'll definitely revisit the true ending again to clean up what items I did miss.
Under the assassin's breechers is a maze like area where you can get the Godsbeast scale coat for magic archer
is it a golem?
@@Chris_KAy yuh
I evacuated everyone but the only person in the seafloor shrine is the dragon dude..... They are all still in their towns
You have to rest a day to get people to move. Hope you have time left
Yep rest a day. You did the Sacred Arbor plant the tree quest too?
@@NotMeliora ahhh thanks, thought it was a bug on my first playthrough but on the 2nd I knew I was messing up, I just never sleep lol
Nah, it is just proximity & time. I did all the bosses/evacuations in one go when arriving by spamming portcrystals and they all appeared after some porting around. You don't have to rest. Time still advances, just doesn't have any impact on the "timer" that is only goverened by sleeps.
@@rhodan74 I mean the clock doesn't move though
The everfall was a way better end game
Agreed. The time limit goes a long way towards ruining it. Felt kinda disappointed by the end game "cycle."
@@ObsidianChariot If you aren't shit the time limit doesn't matter
Yeah i love exploring the same four rooms over and over and over again but from different angles😂
15 all heal elixirs and 23 wakestones I don't need to rest we going balls deep
Question: When going to new game plus will the portcrystals that i’ve placed in the world be there? Or do i have to pick them up before new game plus-ing or else they’ll disappear?
They all get sent to your storage.

OH MY GOD MAN TIMESTAMP!! Thanks for the info but please TIMESTAMP.
the fact the Seafloor shrine is Grand Soren from the first game makes me so mad the rest of the game couldn't be this hype
On the other side of that fell lord is a gore chimera with some thief gear
That's interesting!
Missing items like the Godscale Beast coat for Magick Archer and another Surcoat for Spearhand.
Yeah he's missing a few pieces. I want to believe there's sets for every class but I don't think there is
Are there Seeker's Tokens only available in the unmoored world? I would like to get the max affinity ring before the unmoored world so I can ensure the pawn love (my pawn dies very easily because she's constantly jumping off cliffs or into the brine.)
Thanks Bro ❤
The big monsters do respawn. In my second time through the unmoored world I did all the quests and cleared out the beams without resting. Ran around the whole map looting and killing. After a couple rests the big monsters respawned but they don’t drop more gear
also no materials, portstones and cristals?
Warfarer is pretty much the only vocation viable to survive in the unmoored world. Use it. Combine mystic spearhands mirour shelde, mystic archers frosthunter bolt, warriors heavenward sunder, add a mage weapon for healing and levitate and then you and your party are pretty much immortal. If your main pawn isn't a thief hire one that's straightforward and has plunder skill for heaps of free loot and you can pretty much just spam mystic spearhands mirror shelde keeping the thief impervious to damage while they kill and loot everything = broke the game lol.
It doesn't work with the Dullahan though. If you activate mirror shelde it can still knock you down when it does the shriek thing.
I have been sitting here for a bit thinking in that cover case armor (if it hasn't been data minded etc) but curious if it could be that extra notch on secret step by step process to actually get it wouldn't be the first time and hits may be possible form status to the cover maybe the jack of all master of non is needed
Changing vocation doesn't seem to heal you
Great video, and is there an assassin chest? I have found nothing on google. Thanks for the great video.
theres actually a full set for every normal class and in the video theres a spots right next to eachother where u missed an item
for example at 12:34 if u go down that river area theres another chest and boss for an item right below
I kept beating the last boss over and over because i didnt know i had to use the godsbane and i got a lot of crystals with a thief in my party
Damn didn’t even think that you could repeat that fight, good to know
@@BabaYaga0713 yeah i did it 3 times and used the godsbane on the 4th lmao
for me, the rift stones were saving my game , so i didn't have to rest at all
if you didn't do the elvish questline, you need to rest 3 times while talking to the guy in order to convince them to leave for the seafloor shrine
Also I've found about 8 more rare armors clearly there aren't only 10...
I changed vacation but dont get a full heal…
You quick cut a lot when near the chests but fail to quick cut to the map ( that being the most salient detail) leading into a general area concept or rough approximation unless the target is very obvious.
Is it me or does the armor in dd2 not feel complete compared to dd1. In the first game there was multiple sets that could be worn by dofferent classes but dd2 feels like armor sets aren't even sets. If they are then they just don't feel like it because not all the pieces can be worn by same class.
i hear changing vocation in unmoored doesnt heal you up like on normal. im yet to test it though!
Can't believe you sent me alllll the way west to then send me furthest east to the nameless village! 😭😂
So you could theoretically stay there until til everything is dead :) good to know.
Timestamps considering would make this video be watched more often when using as guide btw... ;-)
Bro I cant ruin my game I have a lot of local saves if I do any mistake I can change game saves anytime.
ah so that oversight is why there's almost a insufferable amount of thief pawns, because it's the monkey strat
Thanks for the great video! The vocation swapping did not work for me. Don't count on it. It should be a bug anyway :P
They just fixed it.
Thats not true and has been disproven. Dragonforged daggers do out dps heavens and he sells the absolute best weapons.
For mystic spearhand he does sell the best weapon
Dominator armor can get in ng plus at any armor vendor.
Dragons dogma be like a fart will cause YOU to stagger but being smashed repeatedly on the dome with a hammer does nothing to a MAGE boss
You can steal 25-30 wlc with every boss from beacon so if you manage to make the fight, can make a lot of wlc. 😉
this is wrong, you can steal a lot more, I ran with 4 thiefs with plunder in the unmoored world and each of us came out with an extra 80-110 WLC + the extra from killing the boss, I got pretty much every item from the dragonforged by the time i killed the last beacon boss
My main was stealing 75 wlc. Had plundering in all four slots.
@emilianonuke were u a thief also n what level?
My main also stole like 90 WLC in the beacon fight near Vermund
Underground of the assassin's breeches chest, ther is a laberint with a golem inside, if you kill it, it gives you the magic archer legendary chest called Godsbeast Scalecoat.
That's not true, there is nothing under the Assassin's Breeches chest.
@@AnonYmous-si5qvyes there is… there’s literally a small cave/ labyrinth. You can just fall through the hole by the chest if you want to use a wakestone
@@EliteBushido Not at that location, it is further away to the east.
Yeah a lot of these items that you found are not exclusive to the unmoored world. I most of these such as the dominator armor i had well before the unmoored world
This video has so much wrong information. You can't change vocations to regain your HP in Unmoored World. You've read it somewhere but didn't test it yourself. A lot of the "unique" armors are actualy sold by vendors in the UW AND NG+ vendors. Would take you no effort to confirm your own info
That healing thing was pre-update my friend, this video was made before it. He simply just forgot to update that part
Unique to the post game dufuss, id rather not drop gold on half this crap if I can go grab it for free. If ya watch he does quiet literally show them in the shop and says "why buy this when you can find it"
As 2 people already said: would take you no effort to pay attention to what the video says 😂
If if a few a sold by vendors I very much appreciate that he shows them all... Why is this a problem. Honestly I would even like a video which shows all the infected dragons in the unmoored world but it seems I have found most of them. Or eventually they are random I don't know..
@@josevelazquez6260theres always the little goons that come to their favorite youtuber’s defense. I love you, little NPC buddy 😂
I can’t seem to get the talios quest to show up. I evacuated everyone.
I've eliminated the red sky beams, does that mean I have unlimited exploration time as long as I don't rest?
I think the vocation change heal only works in that unmoored world cause I tried it in the normal world since i was the only one in the party really hurt and it didn't work.
Main question is: will be all these new items from Dragonborn in NG+?
Can you save normally in the unmoored world without resting? Do enemies such as drakes and lesser dragons respawn even without resting in the unmoored world? If so how long is the respawn rate?
Does anyone know where you can farm Eldricite in the unmoored world?
I have been all over the place Looting mines Killing Ghosts Looting Bone piles And I have not gotten any.
Probally too late but I got one from the purple ghost things in unmoored world. They don't drop all the time though.
Golums in Unmoored world
You can farm eldricite by making forgeries of it.
So i just want to confirm: i have a "time limit" in the form of 12 rests. I'f i just leave my game unpaused in venworth, i will not run out of time?
What is that chest piece you wearing? My thief currently look like a tennis pro with that surcoat
Dragonforged sells it, I believe it's a thief specific one so I hope that makes it easier to find
Doesn’t the pop up when you get here say you have 7 days, and you kill a boss and it extends it a day? Doesn’t say anything about rests.
PLEASE TIMESTAMPS PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU
Dude, I really wish there was a Necromancer/Death Knight vocations. Would be cool to have dark/unholy abilities.
😎🍻😎
What is the best vocation for end game ? Warfare with skill thief ad sorcerer or just thief ?
The awkward part of them not being full sets makes me hesitant to go into unmoored and look for them. Cause once I am done, I'll want to NG+ just to have the pretty world to explore and walk around in. Devs really made it difficult for us having to slog through a fourth and fifth playthrough just for that completionist's itch
Tbh go for them because from what I've gotten they mix REALLY well with other pieces. At least a bunch of them do. Plus if you have them if they throw a content update or a dlc you'll have them if they finish the set intentionally.
Why do all pieces have to have the same name to be a set? 😂 That’s OCD right there, buddy.
Most of the items found in the unmoored world chests are purchasable from any vendor in the unmoored world or ng+. Like the dominator armor is not actually unique for example
does the vocation change heal only work in the unmoored world because i tried it in regular world and my lost health wwre still lost
My vocation dude isn’t there but the symbol is on the map like he’s supposed to be there I have no idea where he is
Hate to burst your bubble, but I got plenty of these "exclusive" items in the regular world.
There should be a set for each job
There needs to be a different indication for affinity,I have a beat pawn and its literally impossible to she her blush.
Changing vocation doesn't heal me
I really wish it was a limited time thing
Yeah I screwed up my end game and rushed through it and didn’t explore
