@@plastikMAORIthere's just a 99 cap of a kind as fr as I can tell. Still have to reach the slot cap if there's one.
Tip: to progress time without using gold, theres benches with red cloth (its marked on mini map) sit and then doze off
*But you won’t get the inn save which in certain situations will help alllooottt
Some grappling tricks! If you grab an enemy and sprint into a wall while holding them, youll body slam them into the wall and knock them prone, letting a melee class get a followup critical attack.
In addition, if you hold the grab button in midair, youll pounce on an enemy and hold them down. This allows you to hold them down for your pawns and punch them on the ground. (Remember that the enemy still has to be stunned in order to pounce on them)
These are just some things i stumbled on on my own, so there could be tons of other little things you can do with the grab. Try things out for yourself! If anyone has any more details, please let me know.

just a tip for those that get lost in the woods at night, to avoid getting attacked find a bush for you and your party and turn your lamp off, if you can see and wish to still travel at night keep your lights off, most enemies wont notice you except for wolves, b ut even wolves are easier to to kill or get away from in the dark😁

Hired pawns aren't lost. I had one fall into deep water, when trying to show me where a chest was, i was easily able to find him under previously hired pawns at a stone. Loving the game, especially when pawns can lead the way in quests or finding chests. 😊

Yeah once I had an experienced pawn that knew about the mission i was doing and the fastest way to get there I was like dam thats so cool
fyi for thieves, triangle or Y attack isn’t just for knocked down units, getting behind an enemy and using that attack will trigger ur stab animations to finish off units, it’s really good for cutting off tails of the enemies that have them. It’s also used in combo swings

For anybody who played dragons dogma one this is an extreme upgrade. The UI will take time to get used to. It doesn’t seem as simple as the first one but once you get used to it it’s easier. Also you can’t just pause and press select to save now you have to pause, go into system and then click saving continue.
If they make a third game it would be cool if the had a quest to find a solution to the brine, if they add swimming or walking in chest high water that is.
I had forgotten about the brine. I got reminded quicly that i wasnt in Skyrim

I like how the archer just gets a kick after everyone else gets some kind of dope combo spell or buff
lol I was gonna say just this... We get "kick..........." But admittedly in a tight spot you can literally kick some dumb goblin to death from full health. I'm just hoping there's some super dope stun lock bow ability coming like the first game, finger crossed!!!!!
You can upgrade it to a jumping kick where you backflip off the enemy retreating and then you can also attack after. Nice for repositioning!

Pre ordered and tried last night, it’s amazing brother don’t listen to the bums crying about frame rates and the “slow start”. Game runs amazing and the start gave me flashbacks to skyrim, I can already tell this is coming for game of the year

Played today. No performance on my mid pc (amd ryzen 5 cpu). Don’t get all the noice around microtransactions, don’t feel like I need them in my gameplay in any way.

I dont need hand holding but I struggled last night playing just kept on being attacked and lost 2hours of game play going to my last Inn. But just knowing some of the basics like buttons already feels like im going to do a little better on my next attempt 😂

Loving the game so far. Does the MTX hurt the game? YES. Does affect your single player experience? NO. It's way blown out of proportion at this point
Does anyone know how to push/pull enemies? (ive seen my pawns do it) like..how to physically grab leg of cyclops and push him down?

A video with tips on how to deal with constant pc crashing would be great.
I have a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 and I keep lowering the graphics settings in-game. This helped, but my game still keeps sometimes crashing at random in-game.
Game is unoptimized right now. People with 4090s are forced to dumb down resolution for a game that doesn’t even have super hyper graphics quality, so we either pray for an optimization patch or have to play the game where most of the screen is downright blurry and pixelated.
Rtx3060 with a 12thgen i9 and have to play on dlss super performance with everything off or low and barely reaching stable 60, actually starts getting choppy when on high ground looking over the scenery. Reached the first major city vermund and gets choppy in certain areas but everywhere else 40-50 fps is bearable for me. If i had speed ran the first 2 hours of my playtime to reach vermund to confirm performance i would’ve refunded the game and wait out patches, but i was too high on copium and put too much trust on capcom DESPITE everyone else bitching and complaining about the fps. Should’ve never listened to people (mostly on reddit) saying the fps isn’t that bad even though there were so many red flags even before launch.

Best I can say is make sure your graphics and OS drives are up to date and limit apps using up RAM and CPU. Also, ignore anyone telling you to lower graphics settings. This game is CPU heavy, not GPU.

@@ThreshtheWeebWardenErmmm i have a 4080/i9-13900kf and im playing at 1440p max setting with raytracing and dlss on quality and i get a steady 120fps in the wilderness and 70-90fps in the capitol city. Not comparing my rig to yours obviously. Just remarking on your comment about 4090 users having to lower resolution. Its the CPU that makes or breaks the game at this point in time, not so much the GPU. And capcom says they are working on it. Patches will improve performance, but its a shame ppl are missing out/having less than ideal performance issues right now. Is anyone surprised though (sadly)?

no they automatically go into your storage, which means weight is never a problem. simply give a pawn all your items then dismiss or kill them. however any equipment you give them to wear will be sent to the pawn's owner.
What is enemy flinching and how do I make them flinch?

How capable are the A.i partners?
Very. If they know they'll tell you enemy weaknesses. Sometimes show you hidden things nearby or gather items for you. In combat they are fairly faithful to their temperment. I don't remember them all but a kind-hearted pawn will be more support focused and stay near you while a straight forward pawn will rush in
So I played rise of ronin, which is awesome regardless of reviews, I’m having fun with it. (I recommend you try it for yourself). So I played for about an hour and a half last night. And I’m like okay, let me play DD2 for a bit because I had to be up by 530 for work, yo Lmaoo all I did was fight Medusa, yo OD fun lmao.
I played both games about 2 hours now.
I've thoroughly enjoyed DD2 and so far RotR has been a huge letdown for me. I hope it picks up after a bit but as of the 1st 2 hours it's very bland imo whereas DD2 I want to keep exploring and playing

How exactly do i dodge? I hit an enemy and the nearby enemys just kill me. Im stuck in the tutorial thing where you fight the first goblins (Might be skill issue but in most hard games im good).
Block with shield if warrior. Wizard and archer you should keep your distance.
You can only dodge with the thief. The Warrior have a similar effect with his tackle, no I frames, but with super armor. The Fighter only relies on his shield, but with the correct build, a better shield and doing parries, you can block anything
My main problem is the no new game option like full on restart option. Bring that in and fix the pc performance then it will improve a lot.
Game is a lot of and the microtransactions are optional and dont impead progress but they can make things easier when you just want to buy the higher level pawns to get through the game.
You can change your appearance in game through a vendor. No need to buy the book for 2 dollars.
I like the game but my games crashed twice now 😢😢😢
Frame rate okay on my Xbox just a few drops, but no crashes it's fun as heck though.

If you didn't save, just load your game to the last inn.
If it was for a quest you might try going to the check point town and go to the vendor there. The game might have sent it to him as a lost and found.

Stuck on all these long winded basic quests where you have to ride a cart for an hour fighting ogres then spend 30 minutes on his last health bar and he just smashes me once and i die at 75 percent health! Game is frustrating! No fast teavel so you cant just abandon the quest to level up and start over without wasting hours of time!

Uhmm wasnt the game that certain vocations give you certain stats when leveling up. Therefor endgame build required you to grind certain vocations first. To be stronger later.

@@swaggadash9017some ppl found out it is memory leak issue with character creator of the game, as long as u import your character from demo it is somehow fixed. It worked for me at least.

Ultimate Beginners Guide and still no info on the weight statistics chart with stamina usage and regen, carry weight resistance to knockdown etc., that's a shame, this is the one thing I really wanted to know before I made my Arisen and Pawn.

"H-aitch" finds fairly mixed usage in people from the UK, particularly Northern Ireland. Con'sh'umerable sounds like a Sean Connery thing to me, who's Scottish-maybe it's also an Irish thing though? UK influence either way.
If you didn't know English is different right up and down England. If I go to the town literally 5 a five minute drive away they say certain things completely different. An example off the top of my head would be book, I say it normally but they say "b-OO-k" like boot. Trying to say English is pronounced a certain way in England is ridiculous, it's spoken hundreds of different ways, none of them necessarily wrong. I didn't notice anything odd about the way he was speaking 😂
i know clicking on this video is optional, but something doesn't sit right with me that content creators get to figure everything out first before the public even plays the game. there is no sense of discovery as a community anymore. the game released today and this creator already completed the game and all of it's end game content and wants to tell us all about it. yea i know i clicked the video.
