Hey Ben, Great video - Glad you are happy with your BDE1100 :) You have covered everything about the extractor in this video so thank you as this should help future customers join the Lumberjack Family :)
Came here literally for the "will the hose clog with the baffles in" question. And you answered it, so great vid👍
Yeah I’m sure they’re there for a reason but mine performs so much better now they’re gone. Incidentally I’ve been using it on my new lumberjack planer thicknesser and the vac doesn’t stop pulling the chips in until the thing is absolutely packed full of shavings!
@@lionandbear I bought mine for one purpose really, stopping me sweeping up 3 ft of planer shavings in the garden, opened the back door at a bad moment and most blew into the house🤣. So glad to hear it works well for a thicknesser, gonna be paired with my Makita when I next need to use it. Paired with everything else is a bonus.
@TheFazer1992 oh dear that sounds like a nightmare! 😂🙈
Just what I'm after next ,I've also got the same planer thickneser as your self,I'm waiting for some decent weather as I'm going to be building a workshop I've had all the wood now under a tarp for the past 3 weeks since I bought it all we have had nothing but rain 🤬
Bloody typical! Can’t beat a bit of British weather! I definitely recommend the Vac though mate. Good luck with the workshop build. That’s a big project to undertake!
@@lionandbear Thanks 🤞
I’ve got the BDE1200 sounds just the same as yours it’s a great bit of kit as it’s got some great suction like you say highly recommend it just wish it had a clear hose and like you said a visual window would be better I’ve got the 35mm hose kit is great
Nice one Phil. It was interesting to see how the price compares even now as it’s still the best value machine and I’ve had it for a few years now. Where’d you get the 35mm hose kit?
@@lionandbear hi Ben if I remember correctly I got it from Record Tools I think it was part and parcel of a deal from Machine Mart can’t remember the price but it’s a very versatile machine
I enjoy your vids just put new ones up on mine with some new kit well pleased with it have a good week my friend
Great stuff. I’m pleased you’re enjoying my vids. I’ll head over to your channel and check out some of yours soon mate
@@lionandbear many thanks mine are rather different than yours but please enjoy and comment
Hi Ben,
excellent no waffle video. I have just spent an hour or so searching for a budget dust extractor and had come up with this very one - then saw your video, so its on the wish list until I make final decision. Currently £99 quid direct from lumberjack or Amazon.
Thanks mate. I did the same research when I bought this one.
