I replace my custom side skirt extensions with a different style. I use my existing extension to show you how I determined where to drill holes into the side skirt. Then I'll show you how to trim a longer universal skirt extension down to fit the 76" long 2011-2016 Scion tC side skirts.

Awesome video man ! I watch all of them ! So the splitter fades after a while ?
Plastic is going to fade over time when exposed to the Sun, and my car is stored outside all the time. The extensions that I removed were polyurethane, but the new ones are polypropylene. They looked worse than they really are in the video because they were dirty, but there was no reason to wash them when I was just taking them off. Usually a good scrubbing and then some black plastic trim restorer will bring it back to life. The black plastic cowl trim on my hood is faded just as much.

I think Dezod discontinued both their headers for the tC.

Where did you get the license plate “TC” delete cover
It's the official Toyota one that I found on eBay. They're pretty hard to come by at this point. If you want an aftermarket one, www.acarguysgarage.com makes metal ones.
Did the splitters ever fall off going at high speeds or going over bumps?
No. Only if you didn't install it correctly.
Also, did you use self tapping screws to mount them?
@@EckoNike1 no, I made pilot holes with my drill and installed stainless steel screws instead.
