I couldn't start my 25hp Etec when it was lying horizontal on ground. It started on first pull of starting rope when vertical. Is there a level switch in the motor? Have you ever tried starting a motor when lying horizontal?

Does a 2013 e-tec 30 horse have a screw in restrictor plug which causes a longer, thin tell-tale?
What if neither light on the emm come on

I just changed the fuel pump. I installed a new emm and it did not cause any errors. I think the EMM is faulty. The program on my computer is standard build (version 5.1.0).. how can I update this program. Can you send it to me via e-mail? can you help me.?. thank you very much..
