Tutorial 6 : How to verify injectors on a 15 HO / 25 HP / 30 HP Evinrude E-tec

GREAT, only we need a video where you explain how enter the coeficient of the new injector in the EMM. I have the cable and the sotware.
STEP BY STEP
1. Scan barcode tag on the etec injector using any free apps on your cell phone and save the exact numbers on your laptop.
2. Open Diagnostics, go Settings, go fuel injectors, select the correct # injector, and click on "REPLACE INJECTOR", if it asks you to you are using a scanner, click yes. If it did not, go to TOOLS and click on the box that says USE scanner.
3. Filling in the coeffecients on the window that comes out: First copy and paste all the saved numbers on the first blank space then wait until the next instructions come out.
4.IMPORTANT: it will ask you the numbers again for the second time to confirm. THIS time copy and paste again the numbers from the window that you pasted, DO NOT paste the one that you copied from your saved files or else it will say invalid.
THE LAST PART TOOK ME SO MANY TRIES THAT I THOUGH I GOT THE WRONG INJECTOR AND WAS ABOUT TO RETURN IT.

I have two injectors from a 60 hp from 2016 and also two injectors from same engine but from 2006.
Tested both and the ones from 2006 takes 18-20 strokes to fill and the ones from 2016 takes more than 60 to do... So. What should be the right amount of strokes here?

Ohms are high on my injectiors, my injectors were dirty, could this be the issue

Hello ,my etec 90 engine shuts Down when the throttle lever is pulled back to neutral. The dealer replaced one inyector, but the problem came back. Now the dealer says I have to replace a second inyector. Is it posible that air is entering in the fuel hose, and is the cause of my problem?

Injector1
2.7 Ohm
125 to fill after prime
Injector 2
2.9 Ohm
63 to fill after prime
Injector 3
2.8 Ohm
80 to fill after prime
Injector 4
2.8 Ohm
53 to fill after prime
I just wanted to confirm as your video was showing 14 strokes to fill the bowl but that was for a very small 30hp motor. Will the fill of 115 injectors be much higher?
I have some stumbling and misfire around midrange but then it will surge and hit 5000rpm and sound fine.
Exhaust valve is also seized.
what is the battery voltage to test the nozzle pressure??
When performing this test, I am using a 12V battery. The injector normally works on 55V. In most cases, if it passes all test on 12V it should work properly on the engine.
how about larger models does this work ?

I have tested using 115HO injector and it works. No need to test using 55volt if cleaning etc. however I’ve also cleaned test using diagnostic software plugged to outboard with injector unbolted from motor and in cleaning solution you can use the diagnostic injector test to operate. With regards to injectors there are some differences in injector year models (Mainly spray nozzle and head housing angle) but other than that they are basically the same.
@@Skits_Missions Hi mate, when you tested your 115 injectors, how many strokes did you get before the bowl was full? I'm testing mine and mi getting around 60-80

@@Skits_MissionsDid you test in the same way as he did in the video? I've got an Etec90, runs fine. But my bowls are not filling at all. When I use the pulse device I'm only getting very soft clicks as if it doesn't have enough juice. When straight on the battery I've got louder clicks but still not filling the bowl. Don't think my injectors are faulty, any idea?
You didn't change the Rubber o'rings
You should use new injector seal kit with crush ring.
E tech injectors are not 12V ???? Then why you use 12v?
Exactly Charles, they work on 55V. I am using 12V as it is the most accessible low voltage for a 'home diagnostic'. If it passes the test on 12V then it will most probably work fine on 55V.

Lol man atleast use a switch and a harness adapter. Don’t just cut wires and ghetto wire it to battery-that’s how sparks start.
Would this test work on 250 injectors ? Or do I have to send it in for flow test
