Nio's customer service is world renowned as they looked after those left behind by luxury European brands. No wonder European brands are losing massive ground in China to brands that care about Chinese customers ⚡

When people after 8- 10years have a worthless battery, they will realise batteryswap and renting the battery
is the way to preserve the use car value. I own a ES8 and have onwed many brands before that.
Its the best so far, best comfort, power, digital, innovative and great service.

Fantastic video Elliot. There's a few video's popping up on YT where Chinese garage owners are trying to sell Chinese made cars direct around the world. Be interesting to explore this some more. I import products on a monthly basis to the UK from China for my business, so naturally I'm very interesting in the thought of getting a Chinese car. I imagine RHD cars a little more difficult.
Biggest issue would be the software which in most cars is only in Chinese (some are starting to have English) as well as mapping software which simply won't work. And tariffs I guess...
@@electricelliotrichards very interesting buddy, I believe tariffs are 10% + 20% VAT. I would have thought warranty as well would have been a major problem.
I believe NIO is ready to build right hand drive soon, but is delaying this until they have swap stations in the UK and have been focusing on Europe, hopefully they will launch in UK in 2025 with ET5, ET5T, ES6, fingers crossed

Any possibility it’s about energy arbitrage all of the early Nio buyers got free battery swapping for life so was this town just smart enough to take advantage? Nio has even addressed this as an issue in the past with some of its users.
Weird they just leave that swap station to fall into disrepair. You'd think it could be moved or reused.
