I grew up watching Caravan of Courage, I remember my family taping it on VHS when it premiered, wow such wonderful nostalgic memories, I will forever be a "caravan of Courage" fan and thank you for uploading. ☺✌

Dear Eric, I think some of this footage should have been included in the documentary "Empire of Dreams." Sadly talk of the prequels made it into a documentary about the original trilogy when the Ewok movies were made right after the original trilogy.
Warwick Davis was a kid!!! I never knew he was that young when he played wicket!!!
He was 11 when he stared in Return Of The Jedi
Yep it was before all the coke and partying he did on Willow. He and Val Kilmer really went full hollywood during that movie.
I would love to see the full content available on a BluRay release of the Ewok movies!

The Ewoks would be a great idea in 1080p HD Blu-Ray. I didn't even know that extras were part of this movie. I wonder what deleted scenes there were. I hope there is extra scenes with the Gorax. Speaking of which, I wish there was a Gorax in costume in this Making Of video, and I would love to see the Gorax in 1080p HD and hear its frightening roars and growls in 5.1 TrueHD sound. He scared me when I was a tot, and I want him to scare me again. Lastly, the Gorax was an inspiration for a monster in one of my horror books.

UGH!! Seeing young Warwick Davis hurts my heart, he's so adorable!! I loved this film as a kid, and what a treat to get to see these videos you and Warwick took, Eric!! I hope to see the Ewok films released on BluRay and/or on Disney+
I would like to see a 3rd film which adult Cindel returns and reunites with Wicket. Alexa Vega would be the perfect choice since Aubree Miller quit acting.

Great vid. I've been waiting for a bluray version of the movies for a while. I'd love to see plenty of extras thrown in when they finally do. The last time they were released there was no effort put into the project at all. Hopefully Disney will throw us a bone and give some more goodies for the fans. I know right... totally bummed me out when they murdered him. Not five minutes into the second film. Kind of made everything he did useless. Now you watch this and know Mace dies like a few months after saving his parents.
Excellent making of! The Pandora track was also excellent fit very well in the atmosphere. This dude can really act!

never worked in hollywood or lived in california, but the people, their background, culture, physical fitness, and interactions are so very familiar. This almost looks as exotic as Endor...

@Eric Walker I simply LOVE these movies. I already have it on DVD (called Star Wars: Ewok Adventures, which features both Caravan of Courage and The Battle for Endor). Since both films are not part of the new canon - which is kinda ridiculous to be honest - I would actually be happy if Disney would re-release these films on DVD and Blu-ray and make them official part of the Star Wars saga.
Again, I thought both the Ewok Adventure (Caravan of Courage) and The Battle for Endor were very entertaining. Shame you were killed off in the second movie though; you and Aubree Miller were great as Mace and Cindel respectively. I was kinda hoping that more movies were made at the time....now I think about it, I still do.
Well, i don't consider any of the Disney films Star Wars canon, so who cares what they think is canon?

I grew up with the two ewok adventure movies and finding out that Eric Walker had grown up in the same city I did (Upland California) I was completely shocked and excited. I don't live there anymore, but I was still excited when I found that out
My stepfather love Star Wars and when I were a kid, I seen these two Ewok-movies also with him. This is wonderful surprise, than video appears from actor 30 years after filming! :) I have a question: WHY that lake, which captures Mace, had that enchantment? Sorry for asking if it was mentioned in that video, but english is not my native language and I´d like to ask from actor- especially, when you play major role in that scene :)
One more thing, !! u just came in mi mind because there is a new map in Battlefront the game with the Gorax cave!! totalli Canon. PD: nice audition ! ;)

Unfortunately I didn't find this film until I was in High school, a bit too old to truly fall in Love with the Ewok films. However I can appreciate their existence in a fun corner of the star wars movie universe. would love a to get a new release to share with my children.

I have the DVD double feature release and cherish it, but I would definitely pick up a blu-ray release. Also wish they would release the animated Ewoks and Droids shows in their entirety. I have a question though, Anyone know if the Ewok Adventure films are part of Disney's new Star Wars canon? Wondering the same about the hand-drawn Clone Wars cartoons. I am sure the Ewok and Droid animated shows are not.
