I was one of the lucky children in Mexico that got to see this as a theatrical release. It really helped the giant monster from the movie appeared imposing and scary.
I just re-watched these movies, and I'm happy to see someone made such an effort to put the production details into a documentary! Thank you for the time you spent on this project, it's very well done.
I can't believe I got to see a making of of this right now! it's a very well done and infirmed video. Looking forward for part 2. Thank you and long life to Les Petits Ewoks!
A great little doco! Caravan of Courage was a definite step-up from the holiday special. Considering it didn't have the budget of the Disney+ productions like the Mandalorian - you have you forgive these Ewok adventures for not being terribly good.
I thought this was a great little documentary; very well done. If I can make a suggestion though, I found the simulated film artifacts to be very distracting and I really don't think they are needed. Also, the narration got a little quiet and low-energy at points making it hard to understand. If you ever do a "special edition" of these, changing those elements could do a lot to improve the whole production. But regardless, I still enjoyed it. Thank you for making this!
I live in india and the Star Wars Vintage Collection has not been released yet here and I was really excited and looking forward for it to come and I was really disappointed when it didn’t come
I would always watch "Caravan of Courage" on the Disney Channel in the late 80s, I even taped it on VHS :-) still one of my favorite Star Wars movies of all time, the Nostalgia will always be there💝 3/10/23
I remembered seeing these on ABC in the mid 80s. It was an event. The whole family gathered around the TV to view it. These were a lot better than the Holiday special from the late 70s, lol.
I rewatched Caravan of Courage on VHS in 1992. It blew me away again! I watch The Battle For Endor for the 1st time on VHS in 1993. This blew my mind even further. These two films are beyond amazing my friend. I cant thank you enough for honoring their legacy!
Thank you Tellymustard, the auditiontape and the behind the scenes are from Eric Walker's youtube channel. This is the link to the original video: th-cam.com/video/KMLlKmrhfLM/w-d-xo.html
I appreciate the effort into making some kind of a documentary about these movies, but I think the presentation is a little too serious. The choice of music and the monologue makes the subject matter seem way more sinister than it actually is.
Very curious where you gathered the resources for this documentary. It's just brilliantly produced. I wish this was a part of the Ewoks DVD release or on Disney +
@@StianAOlsen It's fascinating. Thanks so much for putting it together. The fans owe you. I'll share this in my group and help spread the word. Would love to chat with you about it sometime on my podcast.
"Oh please God, no, haven't we suffered enough".
Thank for this document, not too many people bring up these movies which is disappointing since I love the ewok movies

Wow! That must have been cool!
Slightly jealous.

Thank you for your kind words. Maybe you could help me reach more? ;)
Yeah everyone in oz knows this as caravan of courage.
Outstanding work here. I am very impressed.
I think it’s nice he made these films for his daughter ❤️
Well done! Looking forward to seeing part 2.
Thank you, will upload part 2 on Friday :)
Both of your videos on the ewok films were incredibly helpful for an upcoming video I'm working on about both films. Thanks mr. Olsen!
Glad to hear, best of luck with your video!
Wonderful stuff. Looking forward to the next part.

Being a child I was creazy about it. It was scary.

Love Battle For Endor
Brillant.....Thank You!!
Glad you liked it- hope you enjoy Part 2 :)
@@StianAOlsen Even better! I watch both of these incredible Ewok movies on ABC as a 9 and 10 year old kid. I adore and love them!
@@rhettgenung1223 I’m norwegian so i had to rent them on VHS 😅

where did you get the clip at 2:27 and the one at 3:06 from?
great video.

This is fantastic. I had always tried to find what the TV ratings were. Do you have a source for that? I’ve never been able to find a good one.

@@StianAOlsen Oh, never mind. It was shared in my group. LoL
Dude, up your narration game. You sound like you recorded this secretly under your bedsheets afraid to wake your mom.
shared this one to Eric also
Bra produksjon! 👍🏻 Er det Martin som prater?
Det er Stuart Wright som har fortellerstemmen.
Bra jobba. :D
Was one of those ewoks the guy from bad santa?
That's correct: Tony Cox
The Ewok movies were good.

Say what you will, you know people thought this was cool when the Gorax shows up in Star Wars Tales
Fionnula, not Fiona.
Disney is gonna get you !!! The pooh bear and Micky and China are gonna sue you
i don´t consider the second movie canon its good but the only problem with the second movie is making the first movie pointless
Dude, I love the second one
