Saw this yesterday in Chicago, before meeting the brothers! Phenomenal performance, so much feeling and I think the brothers are stand up people. They were at such ease chatting with everyone at the signing afterwards and truly enjoying being there with us all. Thank you!

Consider and marvel at the fact that immediately before composing this brilliant work Mozart had given the world the greatest and most moving of all stringed instrument concertos - the immaculate, gorgeous and profound Sinfonia Concertante. And this all before he left Salzburg. Heaven be praised for these gifts to mankind.

I adore watching musicians playing with so much feeling. You can see the non verbal cues and communication between the brothers. As well as the conductor and the orchestra. Music is truly phenomenal and the most wonderfully human thing we posses ❤
I absolutely agree. I found it so hard to leave them. Watching their facial expressions & their fingers, as well as the beautiful music, was mesmerizing. In my younger years, I played piano duets & 2-piano works with friends & it was heavenly, mistakes & all. Feeling the music together & moving with it together was such a joy. Almost spiritual. Such lovely memories.

I never saw him as a composer. It feels like he is just playing with his 'favorit toy', letting his fantasy play freely. Somewhere, in a room...oblivious to his surroundings, like young children often do. And when they notice you were watching, they feel upset that you interrupted their fantastic fantasy. Just...hush...and listen.

I have even enjoyed your interviews spoken in your native language with my llimited knowledge of what you are saying. You are both in a class of your own.
The writing to me is incredible in that a simple interjection by the flute and oboe (though by exhalation on their part) becomes an inhalation in the fabric of the musical phrase! So brilliant!
Astounding. It was actually beyond belief. These were first, and only drafts of music but they showed no corrections of any kind.. not one! It simply, was written down music already finished in his head... ...page after page of it, as if he was taking dictation... and music, finished as no music ever finished.... Beautiful performance, one of my favourites! Grazie signore.
Lucas looks as though he is really enjoying himself. If must be a huge high to play with your brother and a lovely orchestra. I’ve never even played a full size grand. Hope I get the chance one day.
You've got to play on a concert grand, even if it's only once. It's so deliciously different to an upright piano. So much more depth & rich variety of tones. Though if you're needing to use music, it's a bit nerve-wracking, cos the music stand sits higher than on an upright - & the keyboard isn't so easy to quickly glance down at & find your place in your music again - especially when you're nervous!
@garyallen8824 I live in a very rural area and concert grands are far between. The local music conservatory has just purchased a kawaii grand about 6ft long and I was expecting an out of body experience but I didn’t like playing that much, which was very disappointing. I liked the smaller grand they have better. Maybe it needs a bit of playing to settle it in. I get to play it every week for the choir so we shall see. However a concert grand. Hmm I’m 62 and don’t have opportunities for that sort of thing. However I’ll keep wishing and you never know.

Честно в другом исполнении данного концерта Моцарта я не слышала но они исполняли Моцарта изящно, легко, оркестр не заглушал их исполнение, они его- все было единым произведением!❤❤❤❤❤
