Incredible how they can synchronize with such individual virtuosity -- and often without even looking at the keyboard or each other, just swaying their heads with eyes closed, yet not missing a note. Also, having watched several of their recordings of works by composers from different historical periods, it amazes me how they can memorize such a large repertoire of lengthy musical works.
I thought the same, I don't know anything about this type of music, but i really enjoy listening to these fabulous musicians, very classy performances and as you said the length of each piece is remarkable and played with lightness of their touch

I thought this was good the first time they posted it online, but the growth and extra depth in this performance is outstanding. Such emotion, but without disturbing the poise and elegance of the classical era - wonderful.

But does anyone else feel like the integration of the two voices is actually a bit too flawless, or seamless (probably by design), each lacking a hint of individuality, or independence from the other, which I hear them to have, pleasantly to my ear, in the recent interpretation by Argerich and Barenboim (th-cam.com/video/kEOyYiwsDrg/w-d-xo.html)?
