  • Bloodborne is my favourite game ever made I seriously love it so much and today I just wanted to go over why I enjoy it so much, every little detail in the game just adds to the experience and I hope we get a sequel.

As someone who just did a 52 video walk through + playlist of Bloodborne, I wholeheartedly agree with you.

People tend to say that bloodborne is disproportionately praised because it's most people's first souls game, I completely disagree with this sentiment, I have played every souls game except demon's Souls and I only just recently got a PS5, I first played Bloodborne about a week ago and think it is by far the most fun souls game I have ever played

I agree, even though it was my first souls game I don’t look at it like that I just look at it compared to the rest and they’re all good but damn there’s something about Bloodborne.

Also the reference to Central Yarnham beasts being no different to english drunkards after pub closure made me lol

great video. found this from the facebook page. i like your style
That said Bloodborne is probably the only Fromsoft game that made me also inspire the beauty of Fromsoftware. It's the only game I've made a couple of in depth guides for to help other players, and the amount of bullshit i went through just to upload them to my PC was extremely worth it.

      Glad you liked the video.
And same It definitely was the game that got me to appreciate Fromsoftware and got me into their games in general.

Great video, I didn’t realise the game went all Mars Attacks! I might even be convinced to go back and give it another try but not now, I’m off to play Fifa.

Hit the nail on the head! Great review and it's made me consider re-entering the nightmare after playing it relentlessly for almost a year. Haven't played a game since as it feels like it will just disappoint me when compared the bloodborne masterpiece. I suppose there's always Elden Ring...though I'm slightly scared about entering a new world that I may not escape from for some time.

Glad you liked the review and I get what you mean it’s hard to find stuff that doesn’t disappoint I hope if you go back to Bloodborne or play anything else you have a good time though.

On that note you should never put a game on so high a pedestal that you just start to unfavorably compare stuff to it that are going for something different. You start doing is going into fantastic games, yet because they are not scratching that itch that you made for yourself, you are completely ignoring stuff that they might do way better than bloodborne.

I also agree with that I think it’s fine to compare it to other games in the souls series but not other games in general I didn’t really clarify that in my previous comment.

I think it's just a case that when you start something new, it takes a while to get into it so it's more effort at first but that doesn't mean it's not possible to love a game again haha. I'm the same with books, I'll read something I love and then need a little break after to come to terms with leaving a world and set of characters I've come to know and enjoy. Like saying goodbye to a good friend and not feeling ready to meet new ones straight away. Its effort at first but you can love again haha

This is getting out of hand. I really wish people would stop praising this game like it is leaps and bounds above every other soulsborne game. Most of the bosses aren't that interesting, the weapons are diverse, sure but none of them were really interesting to me, build variety is disappointing, it's way too easy to cheese the entire game with bs mechanics like rallying and parrying, and the game just feels genuinely awful to control, the 30fps cap doesn't help that either. As someone who has 100% Bloodborne I can safely say it is my least favorite in the series. Chalice Dungeons are a fucking nightmare, frenzy is an awful mechanic, blood gems suck, I mean come ON. Bloodborne is a good game but it is disproportionally praised compared to the other games. Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 2 are really rough around the edges, but because Bloodborne is a lot of people's first Soulsborne game, and because it (no pun intended) admittedly has a lot of soul in it people herald it as one of the greatest gaming experiences of all time. Does it deserve a 60 fps port? Yes. Does it deserve to be in a museum? I know you're exaggerating but come on. Grow up.

Someone needs to chill out. Lots of people feel way this about Bloodborne, including myself. No need to go on a massive rant because you are not of the same opinion.
