Hey T-bone, have a question for you. We have a nine-year-old to toro time cutter zero turn mower. We have replace a PTO clutch on it and it started and it ran for a while but you could only keep it a low speed. Once you put it in high speed, it would cut the motor. Now it is not starting at all. We watched your video and are going to try to replace the parking brake switch to see if that helps because the arms are not making the noise when you move them inward and I were like you were showing in this video please comment back what you think you could possibly else be wrong with it. Thank you so much.
Hi- NW Ohio here- I have been working on lawn equipment for over 65 years
Hi! Wow! Thanks for your comment.
Ok but what corrections was made to the brake control module??
Hello Mrs T. From South Carolina.
Hi Mr Burnett! Thanks for commenting.
Thanks for the help Mrs. T I'm watching from Northeast Tennessee. T-Bone she's a keeper if she's willing to help work on a lawn mower.
Hi Mr Charles! Thanks for the comment.
Yes sir, Mrs T is a wonderful lady. She is always put 1st and loved.
I have a Toro 75755 Timecutter with a Briggs and Stratton 139-0603 ENGINE-2P77F that won't crank. We jumped from the battery straight to the starter. Doesn't that bypass all the fuses and safety switches? The flywheel doesn't engage with the starter, but can be turned by hand and spins freely with the plugs out. Starter was replaced.
Excellent video T-Bone, its sure nice seeing Mrs T-Bone helping you out 👌👍Mrs T-Bone am watching from Northumberland in the uk 🇬🇧

Hi DC Lawn! Thanks for commenting.
T-Bone, I have a question for you or one of your great subscribers. Do you think it would be a good idea to store my riding mower with tension off of my PTO belt for the Winter? I could ease the belt off of the idler pulley. Would this perhaps lengthen the PTO belt life?
In my opinion it shouldn't make any difference. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend.
@@RaleysSmallEngines Thanks for your reply T-Bone! I was just wondering about it. Keep up the interesting videos!
Great Work both of you

Great to see Ms T Bone.
😊 Thank you!
Mr T
I am from Minnesota with Long and Cold winter.
Two weeks ago I took my toro Z out of hibernation.
It started right up.
I took it out of the storage.
Let it run to warm up while I took my 2 others Z out.
Then I went checking on the first one…it’s death.
I tried to restart…The Z went silent. No Cranking.
One thing I noticed was that the parking brake was hard to engage.
I asked around and people said it’s the battery even though I told them the above story.
My question is this: Could my issue be like yours as to me the symptom is the same.
Question2: I tried to move the Z inside the garage by releasing the two switches (not the ones on the relay but the two which you push IN by the wheel)…these 2 switches are hard to pull.
Hope you can help with suggestions.
Thank you for everything
My Toro Timecutter has this exact problem. I manually released the brakes by rotating the shaft the brake arms are connected to; so no need to remove the 2 cotter pins, washers and arms.
…question though. Before I pay for a replacement brake module, has simply unplugging the cable harness, blowing on it and plugging it back in ever fixed the problem? Or have you always had to replace the module?
Texas

What if it doesn’t even click? I have a toro z turn 2013 model. I was in the middle of cutting and it just died out of no where. Gas was full, air filter is ok, no clicking, no electric brake sound. I’m at a loss. Please tag me if you do a video explaining. Please Help, T!
Check your fuses 1st.
