Final Fantasy VII - Emerald Weapon Solo Battle

Another personal goal scratched off my list in life: Beat Emerald Weapon! I've never done this before, especially alone. It gets a bit sloppy using ten thousand Elixers at a time and I do apologize for that redundancy. That's Mime/Counter for you. Ragnarok is the weapon to use for this one.

Those Omnislashes are high 6k's so that makes a huge difference rather than low 6k's

Yes. Ragnarok is preferable due to Ultima Weapon's weakness, the ATK power depends on Cloud's HP

How do you get counter materia before going to north crater? I think we can't go back after entering deep into crater?

Can't remember how deep in the cavern you get it but you can leave any time unless you're past the point of no return at the core.

Where do you even grind and level up to be Lv99?

There's a swamp area in the Northern Cave where you can get to 99 in a few hours at the most.
Hold onto your save point until you get to that area, place it there to make grinding less risky.
Use the W-Item materia glitch to replicate your Elixirs, and use them on Magic Pots to get huge amounts of EXP.
In that same area, equip Apocalypse on Cloud and Schimitar on Cid, you'll find Movers (red bouncy balls), kill them for 0 EXP but an obscene amount of AP to level all your materia up.

@@Cactuardude W-Summon + KOTR + HP Absorb + Mime worked for me, but the strategy in the video is probably the best one to use if you don’t want to spend time breeding chocobos.

I'll ONLY fight it via the KoTR method ON DISC 2 so I only had 1 Mime user not 3 even at lv 99 I would NOT have Omnislash top 5000 per hit I didn't even have it do 1500 to 2000 HP per hit Ultima weapon equipped at FULL HP against it at LV 60.
