I mean was he gay before he was married or after and why does he have the intention of turning into a woman because in the episode of Monica’s wedding chandler’s mom said she saw him in a wedding dress when they got married, and I also still don’t understand how he transformed totally into a woman, did he have surgeries to turn his body into a female one?
his dad is a drag queen by today's standards, he hasn't yet turned his body into a female one during the show's timeline. Also he's gay, but their marriage might have been a marriage of convenience because Chandler's grandparents couldn't handle the queerness of Chandler's dad. Also there was adultery on both sides from the start and even threesomes between Chandler's parents due to which they got divorced (I mean his dad was having sex with the butler when they announced their divorce to Chandler) and messed up Chandler big time due to this.

This episode has a huge continuity error. Gellars have met Chandler many times before and had no issue. They added this "stoned" storyline out of nowhere..
