He only figured it out because he got all the necessary informations. If the others wouldve known what he knew, they also would've figured it out.
So Joey basically also catched them because they gave him all the informations.
I mean, he was the only person who had all the information. He was the only person who received the call about the eye lash curl, he was the only person who knew about Trump waiting in the elevator, so he is the one person who should know.

I am so sad that Matthew Perry is gone and he was very brave for opening up about his addiction and wanting to be remembered for helping others ❤❤❤😢
He's such a great actor & such a great personality, helping others. I'm so sad he's gone. It used to be my happy place, watching them when I was injured & so unhappy for my non progress. I knew the minute the episode begins I'll smile again. So sad he's gone. May the lord bless his soule. May he RIP 😢

Still holds up as one of the best episodes of any sitcom ever. The whole story arc of Monica and Chandler's attempts to keep their relationship a secret is my favorite run of "Friends" episodes. And to think, it only happened because of the audience's reaction to seeing them in bed together in London.
I have to admit I first introduced myself with this phrases:"But they don't know that we know that they know we know" on this show for the first time😂

Joey being forced to not tell from the beginning, that's what I loved about the storyline. Though by the time Ross found out, Joey was in the middle of the "they know we know" shenanigans between Monica/Chandler and Rachel/Phoebe.

You know, I was a kid who absolutely didn’t understand what she was watching (actually, didn’t understand much to anything, so I barely picked what I would watch) and yet, even 20 years later, I still remember the first time I watched the episode « EVERYONE KNOWS ! » (and how Chandler had concluded their game by declaring he was in love with Monica) 😁😁😁

I love how Joey was the only Friend to find out on his own, without needing to catch them in the act. He really is more clever and Inuitive than he lets on!
