  • Post walk yoga stretch, is a perfect little yoga flow to stretch out the toes, legs and hips at home, after you’ve been for a walk. This yoga flow will help release tension from the lower half of the body and stretch out the muscles used for walking. Whether you walk for miles at a time, or just a quick walk around the block, this yoga for walkers is a great practise.

    after seven weeks of not being allowed out for walks (quarantine in Spain), we've just been allowed out again and wow my legs were aching. this has been absolutely lovely! thanks!

    Thank you for this! I had recently started a life long commitment to walk 1 hour a day in my neighborhood park. I noticed the other day that my hips and other areas would feel tight after my walks and I wanted to find a really good stretching routine. I have found it with this! I will be using this video every day. I felt so much better after going through this flow and I love your background setting and you have a lovely voice :) Thanks again! ~subscribed from across the pond :)

    The first yogi squat was so HARD. My hips were super tight. By the second squat, I felt SSOOO much better. This was short and effective! Thank you!

    Hi Helen. I did this lovely Post-Walk class with hubby (YAY....so pleased he gave it a go).....But I have a quick question about a pose. When doing the Yogi pose I can squat right down but cannot get my heels flat on the floor (too many years of wearing high heels)......Should I only squat to the point where my heels stay on the floor? Thanks and stay safe. xx

      Hey!! Ahhh that's amazing, so glad you guys got some good use out of it! I would say go down as low as feels good on the hips and knees and don't worry about heels lifting.... You can pad underneath the heels if you feel wobbly.... use a couple of blocks or even a rolled up blanket :) Will do a tutorial on this pose soon as I think it's confusing one for a lot of people!     I can't do the squat. I have very bad knees. Is there an alternative pose?

      @@WellWithHels I exercise every day, and walking takes place probably twice a week. I am getting wise to the advantages of a little yoga in every transition, like getting up, using the computer, playing guitar, etc. So post- walk yoga flow helped me feel even better getting on to the next activity in life.

    Yesterday I walked over 16k steps and this stretch last night helped me literally get back on my feet 😁 my whole lower body switched from being stressed and tensed to being relaxed and completely stretched out. Thank you Helen for another amazing work of yours! 🌟

      @@WellWithHels We did - we were at Dove Dale in the Peak District. It was stunning but the hill was very steep and shingly so really needed the stretch when we got back xx
