What was the purpose of airbrushing the white areas? It already looked great and very white for an old poster! Or was this just what the customer wanted? Great work either way!

can you explain gelatin resizing? what does the addition of gelatin do to the paper?
what was she doing to the lettering at the bottom of the poster? It looked like she was coloring over it but whatever she applied faded away?

There were several pin holes with rust stains the client wanted to have restored. Light airbrushing achieves a more seamless result in this case. 😊
The question is… how much did it cost to do a job like this? And I’ll never get an answer…
