- Stern Pinball presents a behind the scenes look at the making of JAWS Pinball!
JAWS transports players to the fictional locale of Amity Island, located off the coast of Long Island, New York. The small fishing community is a popular beach vacation location in the summer. As Fourth of July vacationers close in on the island’s picturesque beaches, grave danger lurks below sea level… The Amity Island mayor covers up the shark attacks out of fear of losing the island’s tourism money, resulting in more terrifying attacks.

Now y’all know why they didn’t have the shark eat the ball. They tried. It looked dumb. Even the mod that was a great idea still looks funny with the shark having no bottom jaw. So let’s just stop and enjoy this great designer’s final piece of art! Keith Elwin for the win! 🐐
I agree, but I was very let down by the topper I'm buying an real great white jaw and light it up and it will look better and alot cheaper
Every game I play on Jaws, I just keep having more fun with it.
Feel the same way
I played this a couple months ago at The Operating Room in Ankeny, Iowa. Great game! I own Jaws on Blu-Ray in my DVD collection.
Thats so awesome... you should put those out way earlier for hesitant customers.
This is Keiths best game! Better than Godzilla. The team hit it out of the park in every aspect.... except that topper.
I mean, of all the possible parts of the movie, they went with the billboard🤦♂️
If it was me, I would have had the girl from the beginning and made her thrash back and forth like the scene. That would have been awesome. Anything but a bilboard that looks like it cost under 100, and you have to add an unnecessary 0 to it to own. I'm not your market for that topper, but i could have been if the topper was the only thing missed the boat here.
Otherwise, dont listen to the haters. It's the game of the year
This game is completely different in a home environment because of the sound. Highly recommend for public arcade players to use headphones to get the same effect. The sound on this game is a big part of the experience.
Now do the making of John Wick!
Stay tuned!
What was that Star Wars cabinet they were using for prototyping? Mandalorian?
Let me just say, I've never watched the film. I do consider myself a "team elwin" and stern fanboi among many others, that being said. This is my favourite pinball table I've played in the last 5-6 years. What Keith and the team did with the integration both the IP and what your doing on the play field are just excellent and really bring you into the film. Can't wait to see whats next
I’ll say you should see the movie. You’ll be shocked how good and timeless it is.
This is Elwin's best game. No question. The animations are stunning. The play field is amazing and has a lot of attention put into detail, I love the little playing cards on the Orca. Jurassic Park is a Very, VERY Close second.
Couldn't agree more!
This pinball is wonderful, the playing field is amazing, I had nice games at the seaside in Lido di Jesolo (Italy), congratulations for all the work to conceive this fun!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, what a great video! I have enjoyed this game SO MUCH in the last few months. Thank you and the entire team for making it a reality. And here's to many, many more Stern games to come! The technology on these games just continues to amaze me as the art of designing and making them moves forward.
Glad you enjoyed it!
best Elwin imo, can't stop playing it. big win for team Elwin, gj guys and gal.
Very lucky to have a Jaws pinball at the bar right by my house !
Very!!
Stern, please make a Godzilla x Kong PB or a Kong with Mini Kong PB. You could use Kongs Axe like the katana in Deadpool for a multi ball.
Awesome look at all the different interactions of the ORCA and JAWS! Love seeing where it started and where it ended up.. another great game by the Stern team!
Épico 🦈
Huge fan of this game Keith is killing it Jaws Godzilla who's da man yo
Another team Elwin masterpiece! I was one of the few who could care less about Jaws as a theme, but the team killed it! Shout out the great Eric Singer of KISS at 9:34! Go Eric!❤
I was wondering who that was, right
This game is amazing!! My new favorite.
Great video! I'd love the own a Jaws some day!
Oh gnarly been waiting for this.
Your time is now
Amazing game
Thank you!!
Awesome game - thanks all!
steven spielberg
Have only had a few games on it so far, but really fun machine.
High score??
@@sternpinballinc Only 139M, but that's off 2 games (thank you insider connected for tracking that :)). One of these days I'll get a machine in my home and live stream some real score progression. Find me in a couple years, I'll make it happen.
We Love Da Stern Pinballs!! 👍🙏
Which is your favorite??
It's interesting how all their favorite stuff except the fin isn't on the pro model.
Well...yeah, there has to be some sort of incentive to get a premium model
It's sales, brother. There is GREAT incentive to sell at $9800 whenever possible. I would hazard a guess that profits come close to double over the $7000 pro model- and that's for each party- the manufacturer and the distributor.
If you're talking about the moving fin drop target, it's there on all models. The target isn't fin shaped on any of the models as it was prone to cause air balls.
A lot of arcades or pinball halls opt for the Pro version since there's a few less stuff on to break. I was told that by an operator.
4:01 it's nice to get a peek at the early prototypes! that original plan for the North Shore center ramp is wild; i guess that was redone when the moving boat & reel took shape
So lucky to get famous bigot Richard Dreyfuss.
get a life bro
@@cleanandlevel sorry your favorite actor is a creep
@@user82938What did he do?
@@DkViking1 Google it. Would take too long to type it out. Said some bigoted stuff.
