Embrace the grey, and embrace going bald!!! I have. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on styles for us older guys. It really is appreciated. I've actually have always been extremely picky with my clothes and what I wear.
I was in a grocery store and saw a 50-ish year old guy wearing teenage, hip-hop clothes. He looked ridiculous. Maybe he should have watched this video.
I agree with you, bro! I have one like the Mr Harvey. I only used at my sister's wedding. I looked sharp tho, that what some said ! So, despite the the 'Oh, what a nice suit" , I got that evening, I couldn't wait the end to wear my almost skinny light jeans. I swear, I recently turned 60!
I’m 53 and have been shaving my head for 10 years. And I always shave my face. So people don’t see grey hair. Makes me look 10 years younger, clean and fresh.
Yeah, the shaved look is easier to deal with as well. You don't have to stand in a mirror for 30 minutes trying to get your hair in order lol. The older I get, the less I want to deal with.
If you're bald you don't look "younger." Stop convincing yourself of this lie, lol. Seriously. If you're bald you look either old or like a White Supremacist. You may think you look BETTER bald and that may be so because bald is better than ugly but don't kid yourself. You look older if you're bald.

I’m learning here, and I appreciate it! Fred Fredburger, the family and friends that really know me realize: 1. I don’t want flowers dropped on my casket when I go- I want my GI Joes, He-Man figures and Transformers (they have MAD trade value on the River Styx), 2. God didn’t put me on this planet to be anyone else but ME! Same for everybody! But OG does have some nice tips on fit & such.
If you rock a square-toed shoe, but the trick in in HOW you rock it. Make sure it’s a high-end, well-polished show worn with modern cut, well-tailored clothing. No one will know the difference. I have two square-toed shoes that are just beautiful, and I’ll never get rid of them. The square is narrower than the norm, but they’re still square.

THANK YOU for speaking about NOSE, EAR and EYEBROW hair! That is a true PUBLIC SERVICE! I am 58 and have been meticulously maintaining mine for some time. Older men who don't are gross. This is my first time seeing one of your videos, and I'd just like to say: You exemplify what you speak about. While by no means ugly, you are not necessarily the best-looking man, but you are insanely sexy because of how you care for your body, how you dress it, and how you style yourself. Your personality exudes confidence and maturity without being arrogant. I'm going to be watching a lot more of your videos. A+
Oversize logos. One of my pet peeves: car dealers’ stickers and license plate frames. I just ponied up thousands to buy the car and now I’m gonna drive around doing free advertising for them? I don’t think so. Out comes the WD-40 and hair dryer, off comes the sticker. Out comes the screwdriver and off comes the gaudy license plate frame. BTW I’m 64. I may age, but I refuse to “grow old.”
@George Lush. You may remove the car dealers logo, stickers and number plate trim, but the dealer will always continue that practice, simply because half of his customers will not bother. Decades ago I worked for the largest car fleet operated in Australia, who also owned the largest rental car business. Every one of those cars had our corporate stickers, because it was very powerful, and very cheap, advertising. Phil.
Look at the bright side, George. At least they no longer drill holes in your car body like they did in the 60's Never encountered a California car with any dealer ornament, just the license plate frame, but East coast dealers were different. Stickers I can remove.

I'm dating again, overweight and I'm shaped like an O. I still have or should I say I'm building my confidence back up. I know how to dress to impress and your video is on point. I do make myself look a lot older by falling into most of these categories. I wear the printed on tees, I love my baggy clothes and my track shoes. That was fine as long as I was married but after recently losing my wife and having to date again (2yrs) I looked into the mirror and said "WTF who are you"? Even though I've had a few women and bedded a few strippers because I do have a silver tongue (used for talking, minds out the gutter fellas), I realize I could do better for myself. So I'm (take a deep breath) shopping for a new wardrobe. Building my war chest (exercising) and getting ready to seriously get back into the game. Wish me luck...lol

Bro, you're so right about the square-toed shoes. I donated them to the Goodwill store last year! Just bought more semi-pointed and round-toes shoes. Really makes a difference.
I'm 37, so I'm really starting to pay attention to this type of advice. Something else I've realized: like how I need to dress to my body type, I also need to dress to my balding head. Without a hat, a balding, unshaved head does not coordinate well with joggers and J's.
Hey brother love the content. I'd like to say that my grandfather who was in his 80's always rocked Dicky's work clothes. Complete matching uniforms. And to me always Looked youthful. In fact he was sharp dressed and ready to work until he passed. That was 35 years ago. I hope to look like that when I'm 80 👍👍
i always saw his brand for an old man, just like how porsche was in the 1980s and they changed up their lineup with the boxster and now cayman and 718 cars to make the brand younger.
Ralph Lauren Polo is very conservative in its style, and hints at 'old'. I prefer Lacoste polo shirts; timeless, classy, and a little less suggestive of 'old man who has no idea about fashion or style'
I didn't know you were from Philly. I am also from Philly. I have to admit you had me rollin on some of those bad habits. Especially those square toes! I never liked them either! I agreed with everything u said. I always was conscious of what I wore whether it was in style or not. Thank you for sharing this video. I will definitely take heed of your advice. Take care and stay safe.
I'm 45, born and raised in the SF Bay Area. I wholeheartedly agree with your suggestions here. I stopped wearing logos in my first year of high school (circa '91) after my science teacher pointed out, in passing, that trendy logo tops were unpaid advertising for corporate branding. I suddenly felt so foolish. I immediately went out of my way to avoid logos for the rest of my life since then. We students must have looked so bizarre to my science teacher, at the time, as he looked out at his new crops of '90s freshmen to see a sea of giant logos: Adidas, Nike, Polo, British Knights, Troop, Puma, etc., even Corona (the beer logo) was trendy. The '80s were less branded. I imagine the '70s (vaguely remember) were even less branded. Later, in the late '90s, the rock band Radiohead hipped many of us up to Naomi Klein's influential book, No Logo. We keep evolving.
i keenly remember the damn POLO SPORT logo by ralph lauren plastered all over sweatshirts, sweaters, and tshirts. it was a part of pop culture though. it even made it into bollywood's top film in the mid 90s: 557f026ece5b84a80724b4087dc55d2b.jpg

I agree 110%! The older I get, the happier I am that I never dove into the games of inking my body or dying my hair. I don’t look down on others that have, but I am more and more comfortable in my skin.
I’m loving all of this!!
Brand T-shirts? Your favorite brand should be paying YOU to advertise for them. Biggest clothing scam ever.
Facts.. I'll wear no name brand cheap clothes. Cause at the end of the day... what matters is if I'm comforable.
Some of the prices for 1 designer top are absurd, I could better utilize that & buy a full outfit
Right on. For if goodwill has it I will buy it. It is not that serious to me
Nah if you ever bought a brand t shirt the comparison is night a day and itll last longer

I was in a grocery store and saw a 50-ish year old guy wearing teenage, hip-hop clothes. He looked ridiculous. Maybe he should have watched this video.
Trying hard to look younger?? Yuuuckk!!!
I put on skinny jeans two years just to torment my kids !! Of course, I took them back, they looked ridiculous and they enjoyed roasting me !
I hope that aint me
@@coolb8545 It WAS you!

I agree totally with the Steve Harvey suits, too much of looking like uncle at the cook-out!🤣
I agree with you, bro!
The only problem with shaving head AND face is looking like a cue ball head. That’s why I leave the beard even thou it is greying.
If you're bald you don't look "younger." Stop convincing yourself of this lie, lol. Seriously. If you're bald you look either old or like a White Supremacist. You may think you look BETTER bald and that may be so because bald is better than ugly but don't kid yourself. You look older if you're bald.

Appreciate the input George !
I'm a fashion guy as well as a car guy. I think wheel well flappers really take away the aesthetics of an automobile, but I get what you're saying.
The first thing I tell the salesperson is to take off any dealer badges off my car.

I'm 37, so I'm really starting to pay attention to this type of advice. Something else I've realized: like how I need to dress to my body type, I also need to dress to my balding head. Without a hat, a balding, unshaved head does not coordinate well with joggers and J's.
