Vicki, I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful explanation of the Spring subseasons. I was draped by a HOC consultant as a Spring ~ with no subcategory. Spring felt wrong and I was very disappointed for spending the money. I had always thought of myself as a Winter. However, I believe that I am a Blue Spring! Now everything feels right and I can’t wait to start building a wardrobe around these fun and beautiful colors. Thank you again!❤
Thank you for the lovely comment! You could go back to your consultant and ask for a subcategory, or if you're on Facebook and join a HoC Spring group you could ask on there. Although it's good that you feel very comfortable within blue spring :) I hope you enjoy exploring your colour palette!
I just had my HOC analysis done. I am Blue Spring, but I had other wow colors that were part of the paint box spring. I loved the whole process. I have light copper blonde hair so I don't fit into the typical dark features, but when I was draped in those blues and greens my eyes were popping it was amazing.
Thank you, I watched your Autumn video first as it's the first one that came up and loved it. I recognized myself so much in your descriptions, although I'm a golden Spring and now I know why. I am very much borderline between both these sub-seasons. Your references are also much appreciated. Loved the eye shadow and lip color in your Autumn video. Though I am a Spring, makeup that has a bit of brown for lips and the peach shadows are the best for me. As an teen and adult, my hair was light coppery red, my eyes are the kind of blue that turns teal/green depending on what colors I wear near my face, and my face has a very peaches and cream complexion, while the rest of my skin is honey/sun kissed colour. Definitely warm.
A very helpful video! I like that you talk about colour palettes that bleed into each other because I know I'm warm in my colouring except I have a very difficult time deciphering whether I'm a spring or autumn. The warm muted colours age me and the brighter colours make my skin look glowy and radiant. I think I'm a true/golden spring, even if my jet black hair might suggest otherwise. This video explained a lot, thank you so much!
In the House of Colour system any hair colour can be any season so you may well be a true/golden spring! If you know bright colours work for you then that's great :) I'm glad the video was helpful!
Hi Vicki, I love you videos. The way you present other seasons is amazing. I watched all of your videos and enjoyed them a lot. I have booked my House of Colours session for this Friday - Lets see what season I am 😊
Wonderful content and love to hear about the color types! Have you joined the Kettlewell Colour Club? Jo did a fantastic live video recently about the different autumn subtypes.

My top wows were mainly paintbox but secondarily pastel!
What a beautiful array of colours!
Me, watching this video after my sister did my colors today…then at the end you reference my sister’s TikTok video. 😅
Haha how freaky! What was your result?
I like your makeup in this video ❤

I love your videos. Would you do the summer season too? Thanks.

Have you considered becoming a color consultant? You would be good at it!
I have but it seems too scary of a leap to take right now! Maybe in the future :) And thank you!
